I like how it's very customizable and that their team is so hands on with assisting us with our needs!

Not a lot of people are open to the idea of doing async interviews or maybe it's still something very new to them. Some fear that their information or their videos might be shared in the internet which we give them an assurance that that will never be the case!

**What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?**

Willo has been so great for us, the interface is really user friendly and customer service thorough and speedy. We love the fact we can tweak the questions to exactly what we need and give the candidates the opportunity to tell us about themselves without the stress of a 'traditional'  interview environment. The reduction in admin involved with recruitment is invaluable!

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

We've found that some neurodiverse candidates have expressed concern using the service and where we've always accomodated, having options for them on Willo would be great.

**What problems is Willo Video Interviewing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The administration involved in recruitment can be excessive. Emailing back and forth to secure dates isn't needed, there is no risk of no-shows for interviews and the candidate can take their time both completing the interview and ensuring they give us all the information they want to get across.

**What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?**

My organisation is new to one-way interviewing, but we wanted to explore using it.  After lots of research, I identified Willo as the best option.  The experience has been great!  Willo's platform is easy-to-use, and there are plenty of help buttons built in to help me when I needed clarification.  The Willo team was very active in reaching out to me to ensure that my questions were answered.  One-way interviewing was new to our interview candidates as well.   All the candidates easily figured out how to use Willo, thanks to their user-friendly platform.  After the interviews, our three-member selection committee was able to watch and rate the candidates.  Willo certainly saved my team a lot of time and energy.  Our experience with Willo has been so beneficial that our management team recently voted to include Willo in our selection process for 100% of our positions.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

Our experience with Willo was so positive that I could not identify anything that I disliked about the product.  If I were forced to choose something I disliked, it would be the pricing.  My organisation is a start-up based in southern Africa, so the costs can be prohibitive for young companies and those based in developing countries like us.     Having said that, I do believe that Willo's pricing is fair and the product is worth the financial investment.

Willo has helped us deal with our problem of having a selection process that requires lots of time and energy from our staff.   By using Willo, we have reaped many benefits:  Willo allows us to interview multiple candidates in a fraction of the time with little effort.  It also shortened the amount of time it takes to select candidates to proceed to the next round.  It has saved is money: one-way interviews are much less expensive than face-to-face interviews.

Efficiency in interviewing! Interviewing panel individuals can review at their own pace. We use Willo for our first round interviews and it has been an incredibly easy-to-use platform, I love that we can make a video to introduce our organization and the supervisor for the candidates. I like that we can put a different response time for each question.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

I don't have any critical feedback. Our candidates have not expressed any concern, nor have any members of the interview panel.

The length of time it takes to interview individuals is cut exponentially.

Willo Video Interviewing has saved me so much time when it comes to recruiting! I am able to keep candidates at the same stage in the process and review videos back to back.

Some candidates do not like to submit video interviews and there is a potential to lose candidates but I have not had too much concern here.

We interview thousands of candidates and Willo interviews make it much quicker with fully customizable questions.

I don't like that if you update the interview questions, the ones who have already taken it will also have updated questions. It should keep their questions the same as what they were before but update the new interview.

**What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?**

Willo has been great for our Junior level vacancies, where typically we received 100+ applications.
With these types of roles we prefer to look at aptitude, personality, and culture add to Lunio and curiosity/eagerness to learn. Without Willo, we would have spent countless hours on introductory video calls to do this, which is not the best use of our time.
I've used competitors in the past, but have no need or desire to go elsewhere given the ROI we get via Willo. We have recommended Willo to some of our partners who struggle with junior hires currently.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

On Mobile / Tablet - reading the question in time can sometimes be difficult. The way to counterbalance that was to give more opportunities for candidates to retake, but that was counter-intuitive when trying to assess candidates "in the moment".

**What problems is Willo Video Interviewing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us review candidates in further detail, rather than just typical cv / LinkedIn profiles. We're able to see what the candidate is like on video, rather than just on paper and help us feel 10x more confident in which candidates we wish to bring to next stages. It's saved us a huge amount of hours and also helped show us which candidates are truly interested in opportunities at Lunio.

The customizable video interview templates make Willo very user friendly. Willo's customer service team is also very responsive and helpful. We have been using Willo for 3 years and still find great value in their services!

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

We really have very few complaints about Willo. I do wish the price was not based on the number of users, but rather a team rate, but ultimately, not the end of the world. We wish more ATS would have intuitive video interviewing options like Willo integrated into their systems. Until then, we will continue to use Willo in our interview process!

**What problems is Willo Video Interviewing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Willo Video Interviewing solves the inefficiency of phone screening. We know there is value in a primary screening process prior to an in-person interview, but phone screening is outdated. The ability for a candidate to record a video interview at their convenience, then we review the video at our convenience is incredibly valuable to our HR team.

**What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?**

We were looking for a lightweight, API-first and easy to use asynchronous interviewing solution which we could add to our talent marketplace. We were let down by our assessment provider with this functionality and had 2 weeks to find an alternative that we could integrate with in 1-2 weeks. Willo turned out to be the exact solution we were looking for. It's API first approach made integration a breeze, and the lightweight, easy to use interface (for us and our candidates) made it a natural addition to our self service application.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

We have been using Willo for almost a year now and I can't say there is anything I dislike. New features and improvements are constantly added, and you get to suggest and upvote the features you want most.

**What problems is Willo Video Interviewing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Since we're a self-service talent platform, time to hire is key for us. In addition, we need to help hiring companies screen and find the right fit applicants for their job. Willo solves this for us: candidates can record video or audio only introduction videos and companies can quickly and easily evaluate the applicant's motivation and language abilities. Shortlisted applicants then get scheduled for a face to face interview.

We introduced Willo primarily to help with early careers recruitment. I like that it's personable and you can really showcase yourself as an employer via the platform.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

Not found any to date personally. I am however interested to see it used more broadly across the business and understand conversion rates as such. I love the simplicity of the platform.

**What problems is Willo Video Interviewing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're a lean TA team and Willo enabled us to review and hire in volume across our early career positions (eg Graduates). The platform allows the user to record their own intro and ask questions, so it enabled us to keep consistency and the human touch with that being the TA Partner leading the recruitment campaign. It saved us lots of time against 'no show's to initial screening calls we would normally hold with this taking the place of those calls, although we still offered a phone call instead if a candidate preferred, but we got a huge uptake in users and positive feedback on the experience.

It's easy and affordable to create a candidate funnel where they answer questions via video. This is very important for companies with remote or WFH setups. The software works.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

The only thing I'd comment on here is that navigating between candidates is clunky. Needs some UI//UX improvements to simply speed this up. Easy improvements though.

This isn't possible as a small to medium-size business elsewhere. LinkedIn Recruiting is a terrible solution, expensive, and zero customer support. Willo makes this possible.

It saves cost too and business time that would have been spent on interviews.

Sometimes the video doesnt load fast.
It keeps saying media error or something similar.

It doesn't let me delete interview questions after i have published. 
I would like to review improvements there.

This saves a lot of time for any employer! Not only that, but I feel more candidates were acruallr doing the interview! With in person interviews or even a scheduled video interview, I found people not showing up because they would miss their time. This allows flexibility to the interviewee.

I can offer candidates a personalised journey with video, audio and written response styles. Love that.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

It would be great to see some additional functionality in the future around async & sync interviews; or perhaps an integration into an existing synchronous video platform.

Transcriptions are also on the roadmap, which is going to help hiring managers a lot - and potential give us the chance to share interview feedback with candidates more effectively.

Mainly speed. It's great to offer candidates interview opportunities in their time, without them having to find a secret space in an office or take time off work. The clear benefit for us is that we can turn interviews around within a matter of minutes.

**What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?**

Willo saved our team a ton of time while hiring for a few roles. The ability to set up multiple interviews was helpful and it was really easy to configure questions for video and written responses. Plus, it allowed us to get a much better idea of a candidate's personality than a typical application.

This tool made the process of completing initial screening for candidates much more efficient and the price to use the service was very reasonable compared to other options we researched.

It's also obvious that their team is constantly pushing out updates and improvements to the tool. My experience with their support team after we ran into an issue with an interview was stellar.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

Certain parts of the interface were confusing at times. For example, I had to reach out via chat support to enable 2-step verification for my user and make changes to my plan. I expected to be able to do those things within our admin settings.

Configuring the email notifications was also a bit tricky. We didn't invest much time in setting up some of those features.

Streamlined our hiring processes so we could more easily identify the best candidates for open positions. We have a small team, and it takes a ton of time to filter through candidates. This made it much easier!

the fact that we can propose different types of interview
The fact we can send invitations directly through the platform

Could be hard to navigate between the different interviews we propose and that we don't have a recap of the questions somewhere
We can't modify the end date easily, we have to rewrite it manualy each time

**What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?**

Willo video was simple to setup, the onboarding process was flawless, and I was sending out interview links in 10-15 minutes. It was the first of these platforms I've used, so I cannot compare it, but I won't need to look for alternatives.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

It wasn't a major concern, but it wasn't clear how the notes worked. Was it a private note for me? Was it a team note? Could the candidate see the letters? Not a deal breaker, but it wasn't until I spoke to a support representative (which was amazing, by the way) that I understood how it worked.

We recently posted a new software engineer position and had roughly 240 applicants. Given the great talent out there, the shortlist was 56 candidates. We needed a way to batch together a set of questions to help us screen. A colleague who used to work for a large theme park suggested I try it. So, I signed up for the free account and converted to a paying customer on the same day. I highly recommend it to anyone with a large applicant pool.

It's really easy to set up your interview questions and customizing each for retakes, timing, and integration with ATS (using Greenhouse). It's helpful that you don't need to sign in to view the videos and are provided with a viewing link to watch your candidates.

It would be nice to have more customizable email notifications. If you are the creator/admin of an interview, you will be notified each time a candidate completes their video questionnaire. If you also have an integration, like Greenhouse, you'll also receive a notification from your ATS, so essentially double email notifications.

It's providing a much better and streamlined experience for our candidates and our hiring team. It keeps us more GDPR compliant as we don't have candidates sending files that need to be downloaded.

Willo acts as an agency- I have loved using it and think it's been an absolute godsend with SDR hiring and other junior roles.

The only thing I think would need improving is if you could bulk accept or reject candidates by selecting them and moving them into the subcategories. It can be a little time-consuming individually accepting and declining candidates after watching their video submissions.

I am not sure if when people may start the video interview process that they receive a reminder from Willo that their video interview is incomplete. We had one candidate that stop but did not finish the process.

I've looked at multiple platforms. Many of them require you to do a demo before using their software. As a small business owner with limited time, that becomes a huge obstacle. Willo, allows you to get up and running quickly. I like that there is a free plan it's a great way to get your foot in the door and I only hire a few times a year. I would get feedback from interviewees also to see how their experience is using the asynchronous video process.

I have an extremely busy schedule. I use phone screening as a way to determine if I should schedule a live interview. This eliminates the need to do a phone screening and allows us to screen people from the very beginning. We can put a face to the resume.

Time saved - we wanted to add an additional screen in our hiring process but phone/virtual panel interviews require a lot of logistics and time from our interview panel and recruitment team. Willo was a great solution to this problem. It also makes it easier for candidates, allowing them to conduct the interview on their schedule.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

We received very positive feedback from all of our staff who used Willo. The only issue we ran into was one of our staff members who was assigned to rate interviews had some buffering connectivity issues, but that was completely due to their internet connection (or lack thereof). We have staff all over the state, and many in remote areas with little to no connection. Willo worked fast to come up with solutions, like downloading videos to a flash drive so he could watch offline without an internet connection. He ended up resolving his issues on his own, but Willo was happy to help if we ever needed it.

**What problems is Willo Video Interviewing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We run a very large recruitment/hiring process and typically have over 800 applicants and tend to see significant drop off in the first step/interview in our process. This is one of the reasons why we went to using a One-Way interview within our process. Previously, we would go directly to in-person interviews and it would waste a lot of time scheduling logistics for candidates who cancel or just no-show. Even phone interviews would still require more investments with time/logistics. With Willo, there was virtually no lost time and saved a lot of time compared to previous recruitments. We also experienced much fewer cancellations/no shows when we moved on to in-person interviews.

**What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?**

This Summer we needed to hire someone for our new branch in Madrid. It was a success.
Willow allowed us to save time and screen candidates with more information than just the resume.
Willo Is super Easy to implement and manage. 
We got feedback from the interviewees was great that they liked how It allowed them to answer with confidence.

I find Willo very easy to use. The trello type board is effective and easy to manage candidates.

That you can't have videos asking the question is the only thing

Allowing us to go through a large volume of candidates without conducting longer phone interviews. We have reduced our phone interview from 30 mins to 10 minutes and Willo does the rest so a time saving of 20 mins per candidate.

**What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?**

The Willo platform provided helpful candidate insights and made the process more efficient, as expected.  However, candidates appreciated the process and the flexibility more than we expected.  Overall, a significant improvement to the hiring process.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

The only downside was that some candidates were "put off" by being asked to do a video interview before they had a live meeting or conversation with us.  We minimized this with personalized intro emails before sending the video and, in some cases, brief intro meetings.

Willo provides the flexibility we need to manage various time zones effectively in our remote environment.

We've been using Willo for quite a while and we noticed that is a really intuitive platform that helps us engage with candidates while reducing time in the selection process.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

Maybe something that could be improved is how the timing is selected in each question. Right now we have some preselected options but it could be helpful to have more freedom in this item.

Willo is helping us with massive selection processes and reviewing the English level of  candidates. We also noticed a reduction in the selection process for Internship programs and Bootcamps.

**What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?**

We tested 20 video interviewing companies and went with Willo because of the ease, simplicity, and functionality it provides. They have a great reporting dashboard and the process for setting up an interview is super simple for both the user and the candidate.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

The least helpful thing about Willo Interviewing is that there is not a way to download all video responses for a singular candidate. However, this is on their roadmap and should be implemented in the coming months!

The problems that Willo Video Interviewing is solving for us are: time spent for screener interviews, reporting for management with data on numbers, and cross-functionality with teams.

**What do you like best about Willo Video Interviewing?**

The service provides a great way to interview candidates that normally we would not consider due to time restraints or lack of people to interview. It also lets us keep things running even when our Resourcing staff are not able to follow up or chase candidates.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

At this stage, unless a person creates the interview they are unable to set statuses on interviews completed within. The only way around this is by giving them an admin level account. Something we feel is not financially viable but it is not a deal-breaker.

**Recommendations to others considering Willo Video Interviewing:**

When using the service, use it in addition to your normal interview strategy.

Interviews can happen at the leisure of the candidate, giving us a flow of candidates into the system for our management to look at, it also frees up time for other requirements.

This is a great platform for asynchronous interviews! The interface is slick and easy to use for both the end-users and admins that are managing/running the platform. The support team is also very helpful and have great SLAs.

**What do you dislike about Willo Video Interviewing?**

In terms of how the technology team implemented the platform, there's not much to dislike with Willo. The team also implemented 2FA quickly, which was a hard requirement for us.

**Recommendations to others considering Willo Video Interviewing:**

Definitely run a demo to see if it meets all your needs. The platform works well and I love the UI/UX. There was time and intentionality that was put into creating this platform.

We were trying to find or build a scalable way to manage a mass amount of interviews, as well as enable a way to share interviews across multiple teams. This platform solves all that for us.

Willo currently only integrates with a few Applicant Tracking Systems so this might influence the ATS you choose to use, though Team Tailor and Greenhouse are both excellent systems.

**What problems is Willo Video Interviewing solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We wanted a way to automate parts of our selection process whilst still retaining a "human" touch. The software is easy to personalise so is working well for us. The process is much faster, saves our TA team time so that they can focus on "value add" parts of the process such as coaching and sourcing candidates. The scoring system allows us to build data on the quality of our pipeline.
