Whapier Reviews & Product Details

Whapier is a comprehensive WhatsApp Business platform designed to facilitate seamless communication between businesses and their customers through the official WhatsApp Business API. Hosted and operated within the European Union, Whapier ensures compliance with GDPR regulations by default, offering a secure and privacy-conscious environment for data processing. The platform encompasses a range of features tailored to enhance customer engagement and streamline operations. Businesses can execute outbound campaigns using pre-approved message templates, allowing for bulk messaging that can be scheduled or sent immediately. These campaigns support personalization per contact, A/B testing, and provide an upfront estimation of Meta's messaging costs before dispatch, ensuring transparency and budget control. For inbound communications, Whapier offers a shared team inbox that enables multiple team members to manage customer interactions collaboratively. The inbox includes functionalities such as assignment and auto-distribution of messages, saved replies, snooze options, transfer with notes, private notes, and granular role-based permissions. This setup ensures efficient handling of customer queries without incurring per-agent fees, as team size limitations are defined by the chosen subscription plan. Automation capabilities within Whapier include keyword-triggered replies, a visual flow builder with eleven business triggers, timed drip sequences, and an AI assistant grounded in the business's own documents. These tools allow for the creation of automated workflows that can handle common customer inquiries, schedule follow-ups, and provide consistent responses, thereby enhancing customer satisfaction and operational efficiency. The platform also features an appointment booking system integrated directly into WhatsApp chats. Businesses can set up public booking pages in multiple languages, guide customers through the booking process within the chat, send confirmations and reminders with interactive buttons, and track no-shows to facilitate re-engagement strategies. Contact management is streamlined through Whapier's CRM functionalities, which support custom fields, CSV/Excel import and export, colored labels, live segments with up to 20 conditions, and automatic handling of STOP/START consent. This ensures that businesses can maintain organized and compliant contact databases, segment audiences effectively, and manage consent preferences seamlessly. Entry points for customer interactions are diversified through tracked links, QR codes, and website buttons, allowing businesses to identify and analyze which channels are driving conversations. This data is crucial for optimizing marketing strategies and improving customer acquisition efforts. Whapier provides a template builder with a linter that catches potential rejections before submission, automatic warm-up for new numbers, and awareness of Meta's messaging tiers. This ensures high deliverability rates and maintains the health of the business's WhatsApp number. Cost reporting is another integral feature, offering detailed insights into messaging expenses. Businesses can view what Meta has charged by category, country, day, and campaign, with both estimated and actual costs presented side by side in euros. This transparency aids in financial planning and cost management. For developers, Whapier offers a token-authenticated REST API that covers sending messages and templates, managing contacts, creating campaigns, starting flows, and reading delivery statuses and per-message costs. Additionally, there are twelve outbound webhook events available, facilitating integration with existing systems and enabling custom workflows. Overall, Whapier provides a robust and user-friendly platform for businesses seeking to leverage WhatsApp for customer communication, marketing campaigns, and operational automation, all while ensuring compliance with European data protection standards.
