## Whalesync Reviews
  ### 1. Effortless Syncing with Seamless Setup

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Sean P. | Marketing Advisor, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 16, 2025

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

I use Whalesync to sync my CMS data in Airtable to my Webflow websites, which eliminates the stress of manually updating website and blog content. I love that if I make an update in one place, it updates on the live websites. It allows me to work in the platforms I use for day-to-day work, project management, and content creation. It's so easy to set up, just connecting my fields, and there is minimal maintenance work. When problems arise, it's easy to solve them. The initial setup was very easy; I was familiar with it, and the product docs were helpful.

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

Sometimes the pricing model doesn't work for a given client, so I have to think of other solutions. Lower tiers would help me work with Whalesync for my nonprofit clients.

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I use Whalesync to sync my CMS data in Airtable to my Webflow websites, eliminating the stress of manually updating content across multiple sites and allowing me to work seamlessly in my preferred platforms.

  ### 2. Extraordinary problem-solver for intrapreneurs and solopreneurs.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** MJ P. | Author, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 02, 2025

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

I've been using Whalesync since its early days, and am a big champion of it. For those of who use best-in-class SaaS tools like Airtable, Webflow and Shopify, the one downside can often be the lack of integration—and especially live syncing—between the tools of choice. As a non-coder, Whalesync allows the tech-savvy non-coders amongst us to create solutions like a back-end content organization tool linking Airtable and Webflow, or a multi-platform e-commerce site using Shopify, Webflow and Airtable—and now many other platforms, like Google Sheets and Zoho CRM.

What I love about the tool is the per-field sync controls, the ability to pause different sync sets (such as when you're doing a lot of editing and don't want to send incomplete data) and the ability to do some important workarounds with tools like Airtable (such as converting Rich Text fields to HTML).

It was easy to set up the connections between my tools. The best feature of all is the robust support—for example, most sync pairings with Airtable have starter templates available, detailed guides for various field types, and the like. Matt and the rest of the team do a great job of helping troubleshoot any unsual errors with great turnaround time. This is one of the few early-ish-stage startups I actually trust enough to build my business around. I use the tool every day, but only touch it every couple of months because it's so stable.

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

Every now and then—super rare—a syncing error will occur between Webflow and Airtable (seemingly always caused by Webflow). The error message from the API in questions doesn't always make a lot of sense to me. For example, if you don't know the file size limit for Webflow's image field, and try to sync a file from Airtable which is too large for it, that record—and only that record—wil fail to sync. But generally reaching out to the support team quickly helps decipher the error codes and if it hasn't been discovered before, they they update Whalesync's support docs and/or error messages to better explain the problem for those of us who aren't super-technical.

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whalesync helps me sync my business's back end, which is mostly in Airtable, to middle and front-end tools like CRMs, CMSs and website builders.

  ### 3. From chaos to clarity: Whalesync has transformed our content management!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Kylie D. | Manager of Content Marketing, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

Whalesync has completely transformed how we manage content on our website. By seamlessly syncing Webflow with Notion, it gives us a full view and complete control over our CMS, which was previously difficult to manage at scale. What we love most is how it allows us to easily organize, update, and manage content in Notion—our main project management tool—without having to manually jump between platforms. The two-way sync saves us countless hours and minimizes errors, ensuring our content stays accurate and up-to-date across systems. It’s a simple but incredibly effective solution for managing complex Webflow collections, and it’s made a huge difference in streamlining our workflow.

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

The only downside is that we didn’t discover it sooner! While Whalesync works great for most cases, we have some particularly messy CMS collections in Webflow with numerous custom fields, and mapping every single field into Notion isn't always straightforward. It’s not a deal-breaker, but it’s something to keep in mind if you have a more advanced or highly customized setup. That said, their customer support is fantastic, and they’ve been quick to help us with any issues that arise.

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whalesync is solving the problem of manually managing and updating large CMS collections in Webflow. Previously, publishing or making changes to our website content was a time-consuming and error-prone process. The seamless integration between Webflow and Notion also makes it simple to surface, review, and update older content that might otherwise get lost in Webflow's interface. This saves us countless hours and ensures our website stays fresh and accurate without the need for constant manual effort.

  ### 4. Whalesync is the ONLY thing that can do what it does

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Joel M. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

Whalesync provides a 2-way sync, which is something that Zapier cannot do, but is crucial for the type of business that I run.

I mostly use Whalesync to sync records from airtabel in real-time to Webflow sites. This feature can nearly turn a Webflow site into a web-app, because it allows you to connect a database of record to a front-end, and have it update automatically.

Without Whalesync, I truly would not be able to do some of the projects I need to do as a freelance no-code web designer/developer.

It's very simple to set up Whalesync in about 5 minutes, and get your sync working immediately. Very easy to integrate with the tools they currently integrate with.

Also, the Whalesync team/founder are almost always available in the chat window and respond to me within 30 minutes on average, which is fantastic.

I rely on Whalesync literally every single day! And it never goes down. Highly recommend this platform.

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

I used to think that the UI/UX needed some work, but they recently overhauled that and it seems much better now!

My main issue is that you cannot sync an Airtable table without making it public. In my experience the password protection feature is finicky at best. I wish they would allow you to connect an Airtable database without having to make it public and providing a public link.

I also wish they would add more integrations at a bit of a faster pace. Hopefully they will be able to do that in the future now that the big refreshed UI/UX push is out of the way.

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whalesync is literally the only good simple product out there providing 2-way sync. It feels crazy that there aren't more products doing this.

I use Whalesync literally everyday to deliver Webflow projects that are real-time synced to other databases with data. It's great because it gets you close to having a full web-app with Webflow on the front-end. This is a must-use app for no-coders out there.

  ### 5. The Ultimate Sync Solution for My Clients’ Website Data

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Adam B. | Director, Design, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 04, 2024

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

Whalesync has transformed the way I (and my clients) manage website data. Its integration with Airtable and Webflow could not be more seamless, and it has made our workflows incredibly efficient. The sync is fast and reliable, making it a rare powerhouse for anyone looking to keep data perfectly in sync without any hassle whatsoever. (Also, customer service is great!)

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

It would be great to see indivudal sync toggles for tables or even fields, so that some tables could be temporarily disabled while other tables/fields continued to sync (currently an entire base must either be Actively syncing or Disabled).

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whalesync empowers me to effortlessly publish content to my client's Webflow websites directly from Airtable databases, with an impressive lag time that is usaully just 30 seconds to a minute.

  ### 6. Exactly what we needed! Unlike Zapier or any other automation tool.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Harris S. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

Whalesync lets us connect Airtable, Notion, and Webflow. After setting it up which took about half an hour, it just runs on its own. Completely different than Zapier which used to use but would often fail or I’d spent time trying to track down errors.

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

My only complaint is I wish Whalesync had more integrations available. The ones they have are really great for our use case, but they only have about 20.

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whalesync lets us connect our marketing team with our operations team who use different tools. It saves us a bunch of time that we used to spend copying and pasting.

  ### 7. Happy Whalesync customer

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 27, 2024

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

WhaleSync has been a game-changer for data syncing. Especially between AirTable and Salesforce. Previously, I was struggling to keep my data consistent across multiple tools, but WhaleSync simplified the entire process. The setup was intuitive, and we were able to sync data between Airtable and our CRM seamlessly in minutes. What I love most is that it requires absolutely no coding—perfect for someone like me who isn’t a developer but still needs powerful data integration. Way easier to use than Zapier in my opinion

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

Nothing negative to say! This is really a great product that I love using.

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Data accuracy. I can trust that our information is always up-to-date, which has saved our team hours of manual work and reduced the chance of errors. Customer support is also top-notch; they responded quickly and went above and beyond to ensure everything was running smoothly.

  ### 8. Data syncing simplicity AND scale in one!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Corey M. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 24, 2024

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

Before discovering Whalesync I dreaded most bulk data automation requirements for projects due to the complexity, limitations, and poor error resolution capabilities of tools like Zapier, but with Whalesync that all feels like a thing of the past. Setup is fast, inevitable errors are clear and quick to resolve, and its saved me countless hours of time over the past couple years of using it!

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

While knowing Whaleysnc is still growing, it will be helpful when there are even more connectors available, or even more ideally an open ended API connector to make it possible to sync from nearly any app or service!

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

At a basic level it helps with bulk data transfers from one supported connector to another, but the real-time and 2-way sync capabilities is where Whalesync makes more possible then I ever realized until using it more. For example, I often use Whalesync to sync between Airtable and Webflow, and the speed of the syncing combined with some frontend logic allows for creating a powerful setup to CRUD data for a variety of use cases.

  ### 9. Best Salesforce and google sheet sync

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Max A. | Professional Lacrosse Player, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

I love the two-way sync. It is the only tool we could find that could handle syncing Salesforece and google sheets both ways. Additionally, Whalesync customer support goes above and beyond.

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

I wish I could invite my teammates to Whalesync. I can only have one user per account but apparently this is something they are working on.

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whalesync lets us edit our CRM (Salesforce) from a new spreadsheet which makes it so that we can bulk edit our deals and most of the team does not need to login to Salesforce.

  ### 10. 2 Way Sync (I.e. Webflow - Airtable)

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Brent W. | Co-Founder, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 11, 2024

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

Whalesync has been a huge time saver for us as we use it to 2 way sync Webflow and Airtable. We are seeing way less data errors and troubleshooting has been much improved, lending to a vastly improved syncing experience.

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

Nothing comes to mind, I am excited for Whalesync to further its integrations with additional CRM platforms like Monday.com

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

2 way syncing of data. Syncing data can be time consuming and inconsistent, Whalesync does a great job of mitigating these risks.

  ### 11. Big time saver! Exactly what I needed

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 26, 2025

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

I tried to string together complicated automations to keep my CRM and AirTable database in sync but decided to trial Whalesync instead. It was easy to use and once it's set up, both applications always have consistent data. Very happy with the results and customer support was on top of any questions.

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

I haven't used the system long enough to experience any downsides, maybe adding support for additional tools would be helpful.

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Keeping data consistent and in sync between CRM and Database.

  ### 12. Powers my data syncing needs for features like programmatic SEO and workflow automation

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Manish G. | CEO, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 30, 2024

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

Whalesync has replaced many of the fragile parts of our tech stack, and now we can build on top of a very reliable data syncing engine. We use it to power programmatic SEO for our website, and to sync data between tools that increase productivity in our business (such as Notion <-> Airtable). Whalesync is super easy-to-use, intuitive, and most importantly, RELIABLE (unlike other fragile connector solutions like Zapier and Make).

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

Nothing comes to mind - the customer service is essentially instant. Half the time, I don't know if I'm working with a human or an AI agent given the response time.

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Seamless, reliable, secure data syncing between different products that support my business use cases.

  ### 13. Whalesync: Efficient, Reliable, and User-Friendly

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Logan H. | Product Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

Seamless Integration: The tool integrates smoothly with our existing systems, allowing for efficient data syncing without any hassle.
Reliable Performance: We’ve noticed consistent performance with minimal downtime, which is crucial for our operations.
Excellent Customer Support: The support team is responsive and knowledgeable, helping us resolve issues quickly.

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

Just wish there were more integrations!!

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whalesync is connecting our Webflow and Airtable without a data engineering team.

  ### 14. Managing webflow databases through Airtable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eskil Avelon S. | Marketing Ops, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 27, 2024

Maintaining database sync between Webflow and Airtable.

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

Great connected relatively easily to both Airtable and Webflow

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

I like it no idea
the learning curve wasnt too steep

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Generated directories of 1000s of companies and people we target

  ### 16. Great reliable two way sync solution for a range of platforms including Notion & Airtable

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olaf S. | General Partner, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

Really easy setup and works right away - much easier than Zapier to setup and does two way syncing

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

The only challenges with Whalesync are tied to underlying limitations in APIs such as Notion's, which limits relational fields through the API to 100. This creates issues, but the Whalesync team has been amazing dealing with them

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Connecting data across our workspaces

  ### 17. Really seamless, effortless Data Syncing

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Eduardo B. | Assitant, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 26, 2024

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

Makes data synchronization straightforward and efficient.

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

Occasional sync delays can be frustrating.

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Whalesync automates the process of data synchronization, eliminating the need for repetitive manual updates. This saves time and reduces the risk of human error. It simplifies the integration process by offering an intuitive interface that allows users to connect different tools without needing extensive technical knowledge.

  ### 18. Remarkably easy to use, substantially enhanced my overall efficiency

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

The UI is cleanly designed and makes the product easy to use. The company keeps adding connectors, so I'm finding the benefits compound. I find my overall productivity has substantially increased since I've started using this tool.

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

Looking forward to additional future connectors.

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Disparate databases that frequently required manual updates are now automatically synced.

  ### 19. The best tool to automate your processes

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** José B. | Consultor de sostenibilidad, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 07, 2023

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

How simple and easy it is to automate tasks with this tool

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

I think it needs to have more integrations with other construction tools.

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Streamlining of processes and distribution of information in record time

  ### 20. Kicking the Zap-Setup Nightmare

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Marketing and Advertising | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 24, 2021

**What do you like best about Whalesync?**

Way easier to set up than an app like Zapier. Zapier is great and all if you want to go on only into one direction with fairly easy to handle data. But if you want to go into two directions, you would need to setup a lot of pushes and triggers between your desired apps.

**What do you dislike about Whalesync?**

Whalesync is still new, so of course, this is not a finished experience. But even if the onboarding and setting up is a bit of a manual process, the founders personally guide through it, and the product works as advertised.

**What problems is Whalesync solving and how is that benefiting you?**

For the job board we're running at Conversion Mate, the job descriptions are saved in a rich text field in an Airtable. Getting that data into the Webflow CMS in a clean fashion was a pain. Same with mulit reference fields.

I was aware of syncing apps like PieSync but as this is now part of the HubSpot Operations Hub it's not that functional anymore to non-HubSpot use cases. But syncing in many cases is far superior to triggering/pushing data.
