I will mostly focus on the business product in this review, as they both share similar protection but the business product gets more features. I love the speed of the product, along with how lightweight it is on your computer. It does not interfere with the PC's speed too much, unlike other AVs. It is easy to install and forget about, as it silently works away in the background. I have used it for years, and I haven't had any issues with false positives. This product working in tandem with their DNS protection provides a great corporate experience as you can control what websites people can go on, you can add websites to a blacklist or a whitelist if you wish to make exceptions. The business management portal works nicely and allows you configure all the options Webroot gives you in its program and being able to control it all centrally is a big bonus too, stopping end users messing with it. **What do you dislike about Webroot Business Endpoint Protection?** The things I dislike about Webroot are: The interface for the program itself is old looking, it could do with a design refresh. The Identity Protection system has broken Chrome/Edge in the past, multiple times, which has caused many frustrating problems on our end and for the customer, it has not been a problem for about a year now, but has been an annoyance for a couple of years. Other than those main problems, I cannot think of anything major with what is wrong with webroot. **What problems is Webroot Business Endpoint Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** They have solved the problem with slow Anti-Viruses, no longer do customers complain about when their AV does a scan, nor do they complain about how long the scan takes either. Webroot completes its scans within about 5 or 10 minutes on the systems we provide, whereas with our previous AV, these scans took longer than an hour. I have also noticed that some Servers and Computers that are running the Endpoint Protection are showing that they have not been seen by the Server for weeks to months to years, however, they are up, working, and say that they are up to date. It is good knowing through the console that all the PCs are covered, and very easy to check the web interface. We have been able to get rid of other software that was bloating the PCs, and causing them to run slow. It can be hard to tell where a threat can come from, but through the interface of Endpoint Protection, we can see which specific computer was made at risk. Logging to an event log server is a requirement for basically all regulatory bodies. Some bugs are not advertised. For many many months, there were issues with interoperability with Chrome. This issue was not publicized nor the workaround for a long time. This problem had a huge impact on affected users. We lost many nan weeks of work as a result. Webroot support was not very forthcoming or helpful. However, this is the first time this has occurred after many many years of using Webroot. When the issue was fixed this was not publicized. So unless you created a ticket with support, one would have to visit the community forums to find out the change-fix. No support for Linux!!!!!! This is huge. As a result, we had to go to another vendor. This of course opens up the possibility to move to a different solution. **Recommendations to others considering Webroot Business Endpoint Protection:** Fantastic program if you want anti-virus/anti-malware that is easy to use, lightweight, and requires minimal or no maintenance and minimal impact on the computer. **What problems is Webroot Business Endpoint Protection solving and how is that benefiting you?** Minimal impact to endpoint resources.
