I love the speed that I can create something unique and how easy it is to customise characters. The auto generated captions are the best of any software I have used converting the audio quickly and accurately even with regional accents. I very rarely have to correct them. I also like that you can download the captions separately in several formats the .srt files work well with the LMS I upload the videos to. One thing I don't like about Vyond is that animals can't speak, whether they are animated or realistic. With any software, there will always be the little things that drive you nutty; Vyond is not immune to this. The biggest challenge I face is trying to sort through the items I've uploaded to use and there's no quick way to bulk delete so I end up with thousands of uploads to work through to find the one I need...or I just upload it again and make the problem worse. I find that some minor features make it difficult to use sometimes, like adding audio from different videos or viewing assets. The AI option is interesting but quite expensive in terms of credits and the results seem very basic for now, there isn't much creativity. I like the versatility VYOND provides in breaking down complex topics into quick, easy explanations. Although VYOND is easy to understand, there is a skill gap in making good videos. While there are plenty of elements to choose from, it doesn’t seem like any new ones have been added recently. My work within my organization is fairly repetitive, so I end up relying on the same elements again and again. It would be great if updates included new icons and other elements to help keep things feeling fresh.

Also, why isn’t the AI text-to-image feature available for the animated characters and visual elements that make up the majority of the platform? The feature isn’t close to where it needs to be yet, but it would be far more useful if it could generate visual elements and scenes for the animated version, since that’s where most of the platform’s value is for me. The AI video generator is a huge time saver! We use a lot of dialogue reenactments / scenarios for training our staff and the "conversation" and script features within the AI tool are very helpful. I still make edits to them in the full editing mode, but the amount of time I save over starting from scratch is invaluable.
