I have relied on Video Lan, also known as VLC, for over a decade now and it has never failed me. It allows me to play both local and streamed videos on my mobile devices through WiFi, and even offers the convenience of remote control straight from my phone, eliminating the need for additional software. What do you dislike about VideoLan? The mobile version of VideoLan can be a bit challenging to navigate as it lacks the ability to easily fast forward or precisely jump to a specific moment. Additionally, it is missing a crucial feature that I believe should be present in all versions: the ability to bookmark a video and pick up where you left off, even if you come back to it later. Currently, this is only possible until you shut down your computer, but I believe the information should be saved in a temporary file rather than discarded. I use VLC more often for screen recording without a watermark. While recording Desktop Screen, it doesn't consume high CPU or memory like other screen recorders. I am a video content creator I convert videos in different file formats, and VLC is the only one that plays all file format video files without any issues and no additional codec is required.
