I am yet to recognize any downsides in using Velou. **What problems is Velou solving and how is that benefiting you?** Velou attahces product attributes to our second-hand furniture catalog. Imagine uploading a picture of a no-label couch and getting attributes for it (ex. Mid Cenutry Modern, Scandinavian, Brown, Leather) all AI generated - that's exactly what Velou does for us. ### 5. Our conversion improved so much we're really happy with everything. **What do you dislike about Velou?** I don't really have any downside if I'm honest - maybe only meeting on Zoom? Rarely meet in person - but even then, everything is working well so it's less of an issue when that happens. **What problems is Velou solving and how is that benefiting you?** Velou is directing our customers to the products they are seeking quickly and efficiently. As a result our customers are finding what they want, fast, and they are happy shoppers. It would have been impossible for us to manually add that number of attributes to all our products. High search accuracy for fashion brands - Velou is fashion-oriented. Having a fashion search engine that understands semantics and user intent is an advantage for us compared with other search providers. They also have a great dynamic facet feature that helps our customers find appropriate products more easily through navigation filters. High level of service and attention - We got full attention from the Velou team regarding every question and every problem. We had a really good experience with them. Uplifts in KPIs - We saw more engagement and search conversions. We were able to lower search bounce rate and increase revenue from search usage. **What do you dislike about Velou?** There wasn’t anything we disliked. We are very grateful we came across Velou when we did. **What problems is Velou solving and how is that benefiting you?** We push a large number of products everyday to our website. We never had the resources to populate the values for the attributes, which would have been a ton of work for our team. Our searches were often limited, even if we had the exact thing that customers searched for. Although we tried a couple solutions before Velou, we did not get the right results. The benefits of Velou is in having a fashion search engine that understands our products, uses natural language processing instead of keyword comparisons, and uses an image identification process to extract features and populate all of the data, right into our products. ### 7. We didn’t have to lift a finger. I have tried a couple of solutions prior and none were able to solve the issues for me. It was incredible that we were able to solve them that quickly with Velou. The team takes complete ownership to make success happen. The search results are lightning fast. I really like how the results get updated in real-time where my customers can see the results change immediately as they type in their search. **What do you dislike about Velou?** I’ve used the solution for a year and a half now and have yet to come across any issues. Everything is smooth and has been functioning perfectly. **Recommendations to others considering Velou:** They have definitely helped me with the search solution and I continuously communicate with them now about other solutions I need. I would say, the search results are amazingly accurate, which improves the site experience for your customers. If that is what you want, definitely consider talking to them. **What problems is Velou solving and how is that benefiting you?** Our site has over 150,000 products and navigation has been one of the biggest issues for years. Our previous search engine lacked the AI sophistication of Velou and constantly gave customers false positives and erroneous products. Heatmapping indicated customers using search were very unlikely to convert. Since adding Velou search using customer not only convert at a higher rate but our average order value has increased dramatically.
