I feel that I could improve in that aspect so that everything was perfect **What problems is VaultPress solving and how is that benefiting you?** Stable security has kept the calm from thinking that any attack could cause loss of valuable information that is impossible to recover. ### 2. Vaultpress is a lie! **Rating:** 0.0/5.0 stars **Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer & Network Security | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.) **Reviewed Date:** April 28, 2022 **What do you like best about VaultPress?** nothing, they have nothing good, they made fun of me, they waste very important time during server brake, I lost so much during that time, they don't care about you **What do you dislike about VaultPress?** my server SSD drive failed and I lost everything, then I tried for 2days to download my backup from Vaultpress, 1 of the tables in my SQL database was a bit big and Vaultpress never was able to send it to me, the safe keepers(customer support) made fun of me by sending me an email and asking me to waite, and they will send me my backup, they never did, they are LIERS, never trust them with something so important such a backup. they don't care about you and your website, they want your money only **Recommendations to others considering VaultPress:** simply don't use it and take your own backup **What problems is VaultPress solving and how is that benefiting you?** no problem got solved by them, they just made it worse, they are liers who steal your money monthly and doing nothing, you should never trust them or you will lose your data ### 3. I have over a dozen WordPress sites, and several years ago, my server was hacked. All of my sites came down. The only saving grace was that I had VaultPress installed and with help from their outstanding support team, I had some sites back up within hours. I remember one site which was rather large had difficulties in reloading it into the server, and the Customer Suppport team worked around-the-clock to help me get it back up and running. The cost of VaultPress is worth the peace of mind. VaultPress is also part of the Automattic family, and the team at VaultPress has a vast knowledge of WordPress functioning. I highly recommend VaultPress, in fact, if you don't have it connected to your site - get it now. **What do you dislike about VaultPress?** There is really nothing that I dislike about VaultPress, even when I've had trouble connecting it to the server - the VaultPress team came right to the rescue. VaultPress is a must-have if you own a WordPress site. **What problems is VaultPress solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem that I've had is with cyberhackers that inject code into my sites to bring them down. These are the times we are living in, when cyber attacks are a real thing. When you lose over 12+ sites due to a hack, it is a blessing to have VaultPress restore them so quickly. ### 4. I have been using Word Press both academically and professionally for quite a while now and everyone understands the importance of backing up your work. Vault Press takes out the worry of not backing up your data correctly and knowing exactly what steps to take since Vault Press guides you through it. It is reliable and easy to use which makes it an excellent backup tool. **What do you dislike about VaultPress?** Vault Press still only offers limited options and features. In other words, I don't like that I am not able to customize certain features to make them work the best for my purposes. **What problems is VaultPress solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vault Press is a great tool to use with Word Press to backup data and prevent security threats. I like how it is integrated so seamlessly. The support has also been excellent whenever I run into any problems, especially if my problem requires immediate attention. ### 5. Backing up ones site can be a stressful process, what if I do something wrong? What if it doesn't actually work? How will I restore the backup if something goes wrong? VaultPress alleviates these concerns by presenting the user with a simple step by step process, with clear instructions and a polished interface that makes you feel like you're using a professional grade product. Other products offer the user a panoply of configuration options, which for most users simply aren't necessary, and make the process more stressful than it needs to be. **What do you dislike about VaultPress?** The only downside of VaultPress may come if you are requiring more granular configuration options. It is tailored for a typical WordPress user, not necessarily a power user. So if what you need is a customizable solution to tailor to each specific circumstance, VaultPress was not made for you. **Recommendations to others considering VaultPress:** If you need a simple solution your end users will be comfortable with using and updating on their own, VaultPress is the best solution. **What problems is VaultPress solving and how is that benefiting you?** VaultPress solves the problem of making backups accessible to the end customer in a language they understand. Rather than giving them a more advanced option, simple is best. VaultPress gives them something they can see and understand and feel comfortable with managing on their own if needs be, rather than overwhelming them with options. ### 6. Ease of migration is an added bonus. **What do you dislike about VaultPress?** I think fundamentally with VaultPress, and the overarching WordPress family is that the ceiling of the system is so limited (but good), that there's not a lot of extra, flashy features that can often more easily build trust. **Recommendations to others considering VaultPress:** It gives you peace of mind knowing your WordPress docs are secure at all times. The complete site backup is that one extra line of defense. Makes all the difference. **What problems is VaultPress solving and how is that benefiting you?** Securing my online documents against the threat of hackers. Thus, when hosting journals and blog posts to build and promote my business, I don't have to worry about a systems data breach. ### 7. I did a restore from bluehost & it caused another problem me & bluehost couldn’t resolve. Vaultpress was able to fix it. Way more through than my hosting’s backups. This plugin saved my life (or at least my sanity). I updated my theme and it changed everything back to exactly how it was when I purchased the theme. I had spent hours upon hours making changes and enhancements to get the site to look the way I wanted it to look. I was able to restore it quickly and I can tell you this license is the best money I’ve spent on my site so far. Thank you! **What do you dislike about VaultPress?** Please note that Automattic have now discontinued Vaultpress and rolled all the functionality into Jetpack. You can no longer buy a stand alone Vaultpress sub. This is a deal breaker for me (I don’t need or want any of the Jetpack functionality). Rollout has been appalling, they haven’t even updated their own website yet (as of 15 Mar). This was a 5 star product. Please let Automattic know if you disagree with their decision. **Recommendations to others considering VaultPress:** I can not praise Vaultpress and their engineers enough. I contacted them via the emergency and also because I was panicking the normal channels. Both methods got a response very quickly considering my contact was at 22:00 UT. The problem was caused by Bluehost not being quite straight with me. I had asked for a sub domain to be moved to a new server so it was stand alone. I said before they finalised the set up I wanted to download my ftp files. Unfortunately the salesman at Bluehost was so keen to take my money he deleted my original website on a sub domain and set up the new one. Then told me he could not revert and also could not restore from their back up. Fortunately I had Vaultpress **What problems is VaultPress solving and how is that benefiting you?** Vaultpress is great plugin if you want to run your website without any problem. It gives real time live backup, security check and support. Happiness Engineers of Vaultpress is very supportive and any kind of problem I face, they help me. When I migrated from wordpress.com to wordpress.org and I knew about the vaultpress plugin and after installation I am more than 100 percent satisfied for its service. ### 8. Most of all I enjoy the peace of mind that VaultPress provides to my WordPress website. **What do you dislike about VaultPress?** It was difficult to differentiate between the plans offered by VaultPress on their website. Although the prices for each of the subscriptions is very affordable and economical. **Recommendations to others considering VaultPress:** Review the plan that you want to subscribe. They are very helpful. **What problems is VaultPress solving and how is that benefiting you?** VaultPress is a subscription that protects my WordPress website from security threats and backups my website on a regularly scheduled basis in case something were to happen to my site, it would be back up in no time and there would be minimal down time. ### 9.
