my server SSD drive failed and I lost everything, then I tried for 2days to download my backup from Vaultpress, 1 of the tables in my SQL database was a bit big and Vaultpress never was able to send it to me, the safe keepers(customer support) made fun of me by sending me an email and asking me to waite, and they will send me my backup, they never did, they are LIERS, never trust them with something so important such a backup. they don't care about you and your website, they want your money only Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

VaultPress and their support team have saved my bacon several times. I have over a dozen WordPress sites, and several years ago, my server was hacked. All of my sites came down. The only saving grace was that I had VaultPress installed and with help from their outstanding support team, I had some sites back up within hours. I remember one site which was rather large had difficulties in reloading it into the server, and the Customer Suppport team worked around-the-clock to help me get it back up and running. The cost of VaultPress is worth the peace of mind. VaultPress is also part of the Automattic family, and the team at VaultPress has a vast knowledge of WordPress functioning. I enjoy the simple UI as well as ease of use Vault Press offers. I have been using Word Press both academically and professionally for quite a while now and everyone understands the importance of backing up your work.

Vault Press still only offers limited options and features. In other words, I don't like that I am not able to customize certain features to make them work the best for my purposes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What makes VaultPress the backup solution of choice is it's simple, polished interface. Backing up ones site can be a stressful process, what if I do something wrong? What if it doesn't actually work? How will I restore the backup if something goes wrong? VaultPress alleviates these concerns by presenting the user with a simple step by step process, with clear instructions and a polished interface that makes you feel like you're using a professional grade product.

The only downside of VaultPress may come if you are requiring more granular configuration options. It is tailored for a typical WordPress user, not necessarily a power user. I think fundamentally with VaultPress, and the overarching WordPress family is that the ceiling of the system is so limited (but good), that there's not a lot of extra, flashy features that can often more easily build trust. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This saved my site. I did a restore from bluehost & it caused another problem me & bluehost couldn’t resolve. Vaultpress was able to fix it. Way more through than my hosting’s backups. This plugin saved my life (or at least my sanity). I updated my theme and it changed everything back to exactly how it was when I purchased the theme. I had spent hours upon hours making changes and enhancements to get the site to look the way I wanted it to look. Please note that Automattic have now discontinued Vaultpress and rolled all the functionality into Jetpack. You can no longer buy a stand alone Vaultpress sub. This is a deal breaker for me (I don’t need or want any of the Jetpack functionality).

Rollout has been appalling, they haven’t even updated their own website yet (as of 15 Mar).

I like the regularly schedule backups, expert support, protection against security threats and statistical information it provides after backing up the system. Most of all I enjoy the peace of mind that VaultPress provides to my WordPress website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

It was difficult to differentiate between the plans offered by VaultPress on their website. Although the prices for each of the subscriptions is very affordable and economical. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
