Below this app, concept designs were slow and relied on designers to support the concept design work that allowed us to run discovery and test the principle further with customers and internal stakeholders. This meant the number of features we were able to validate was limited per given period. This change because I can now put designs together that are not only great for discovery and wireframe testing but actually come really close to the final product, thanks to the ability to import your own design files and have that as a baseline. So these mockups are in the style of our current platform. The prompting and level of controls - how deep of a design you want - are simple and easy to use. Couple this with the fact we can easily integrate it into Figma and import the designs mean we can take it from concept to finished design very easily. This is one of the smoothest implementation we've seen around.
With all this, the way it handles versioning, if you add or change a design or parts of it makes tracking and referring back very useful. You can change whole pages (global) or sections of the design, as well as manually. The manual option is great if you have design know-how or simply just want to correct some wording, which does not use up any of your credits. Love this touch!
I have been able to turn around stakeholder buy-ins who has often struggle to understand a feature conceptually and needed to wait for designs just to iterate on in the past, now can work with me with live changes as they suggest feedback. We have significantly reduced our time from design concept to accepted final approval by 70-80%. We have gone from weeks down to days for this. Such a huge win for us, especially as a startup where time and resource is so limited. It has not become part of everyday product management and not only am I frequently using this, it is being planned to roll this out to other parts of the tech team to benefit from as well. The new UI/UX took a little getting used to where they moved the option for flows. It wasn't immediately obvious the controls on the design depth - deep design or wireframe was until you expanded the prompt entry window, then you see everything. Fine once you know but with the switch to way you navigate that feature was confusing. You should see the options in the small window on the left without having to open to a larger window first.
Overall though, nothing negative to say. It has worked well, easily and smoothly! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
