I am mostly use it via API, it was very easy to integrate in my existing application. And right now with discounted Plan i am getting 3mil charakters for 5$ - that very cheap, it other app's i was paying much more. Api is very simple and easy to understand and integrate. I am using it daily for second month had no isses or errors from there api. Maybe TTS is not the best quality compared to biggest competitors, but it's much cheaper. It’s a bit difficult to understand when new characters from my plan are added. I thought they would reset at the start of the month, but they were added after I was charged.

While the standard voice settings are decent, I found that adjusting the pitch and speed significantly enhances the output quality. It requires some experimentation to find the perfect balance, but once fine-tuned, the results are outstanding. The voices are not the best in this field. I mean they are fantastic compared to the standard a few years ago, but there are many open-source models on Huggingface which sound better. I have used every text to voice app out there for both Business and personal use. I can't say that the voices on Unreal are the best, on the free side they are good but they are not quite as inflective as the giant in the market. Again, this may be different on their paid app. What sets them apart is the character count for a personal account. Most 'personal use' accounts really mean 'try before you buy' but Unreal provides a character count large enough for occasional personal use (several news articles, a short story, demoing something for a friend, all together in one month easily). As far as ease of use goes, really how hard is 1. Opening a browser, 2. selecting a voice, 3. inputting content and 4. done? Not at all. I am of the opinion that most folks don't need the API. I, however, of course set up the API 'cause I can't not play with tech; that was also easy. Quick automator script and it's on a shortcut key for me now.
