What do you like best about UltraDNS?

What do you dislike about UltraDNS?

When we first engaged, we did have some bandwith (DDoS) issues (8+ years ago), but Neustar's team upgraded their pipeline and it hasn't been an issue again. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UltraDNS solving and how is that benefiting you?

We solved automated site failover for our hosted production environments between multiple physical locations using Sitebacker and Directional DNS records. They also helped us with canary deployments using traffic controller. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about UltraDNS?

The most helpful things about DNS are the incredibly responsive customer support and the ease of installation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about UltraDNS?

The downside of DNS is that they can be way too pricey and once I heard another friend of mine at another company found out that they were upgraded without even being warned beforehand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is UltraDNS solving and how is that benefiting you?

Business problems being solved by UltraDNS are that they utilize IP Anycast which is essential. They also help with monitoring and failover between data centers, weight load balancing and Geo IP. I like the efficiency of the system and the ease of mind the security of the system gives my colleagues and I. The system is also very fast a majority of the time and rarely experiences slowdowns. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Honestly I haven’t had many bad experiences- From what I understand my company no longer uses the system due to the cost- the service has a reputation of being expensive (although i view it as worth the cost) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
