It's 113000 words, (600+ pages) and I have limited design experience so I need a tool that is clear and user friendly - to save me a big project expense. The learning curve has been intuitive and customer support was clear and helpful when I couldn't work something out. Typeset.com for the win! **What do you dislike about Typeset?** At first I thought it was a little glitchy - but it's really very reliable - i just had to learn more of how it is built. Put it down to learning curve and user error. The time invested in working it out - will be well spent. It will need a community forum and updated help articles - but I'm sure they are building these out! **What problems is Typeset solving and how is that benefiting you?** Saving me money on typsetting expenses fro a book. Also improving my design ability - leading to a visually balanced ebook. ### 2. However, I purchased the basic version before I learned about the Pro version. I contacted the support desk via email and I asked if they could refund my first purchase as I had gone ahead and purchased the Pro version. I was prepared to not get a reply for days. Well, within hours, I got an email back from Ash who said she had cancelled my first subscription and requested a refund be sent to me. That might take a few days. I was very impressed to get such quick action as I'm sure most of us have tried to deal with a human being when contacting a software company and you get chatbots and that's it. Right? Not at Typeset. I have seen the product demo and I'm prepared to love it. Thanks Ash for demonstrating that Typeset takes care of its customers, lickety-split! **What do you dislike about Typeset?** I just bought it so don't have enought experience with it yet. **What problems is Typeset solving and how is that benefiting you?** Combining design and content creation with images and layout is saving me a lot of time. ### 3. I needed to create a presentation that I was delivering for my denomination (I'm an ordained minister). I was invited to present specific training, and other tools just weren't doing the job. I was able to create a fantastic presentation with Typeset, and in addition, I could easily create a PDF for those who wanted a physical copy for their files or their personal use. **What do you dislike about Typeset?** The learning curve is NOT onerous - I do wish it were easier to export my presentation into a document form, though. Sometimes I had to go back and edit for fonts that didn't translate well in the export process. **What problems is Typeset solving and how is that benefiting you?** Beautifully designed presentations Easy placement and resizing of photos and graphic elements Unified design across all document / presentation pages without endless tweaking Easy editing of text Fast operation - no waiting for endless redraws ### 4. We use this frequently for all of our external sales pitches and it has been seamless to add to our tech stack for quick editing, ensuring consistent branding and overall great looking content. The support team has been incredibly helpful whenever we needed it! **What do you dislike about Typeset?** While you can get 90% of your work down in Typeset it's not always perfect which is why export to powerpoint is so helpful. **What problems is Typeset solving and how is that benefiting you?** Quickly ensuring I don't have to switch focus for our design team to create one-off requests, especially for sales pitch decks or our HR & Learning and development team. ### 6. While the automatic setup from our website was a nice touch, we found managing the fonts quite cumbersome. The templates also felt limiting, which didn't align with our creative demands. However, this platform might be more suited for small businesses that lack the budget for a creative agency and have ample time to experiment. **What problems is Typeset solving and how is that benefiting you?** Didn't solve any problems for us. ### 7.
