I'm a content marketer. I've been writing content professionally for more than 12 years. I was growing to hate it. You can't beat the hours, and self-employment is ideal: but I was running out of steam.
I've played with a ton of AI software, trying to make my job more manageable. Type was the one that changed things for me, because it damn near eliminates all the little annoyances about writing: blank page syndrome, writing hokey CTAs, saying the same thing I've said a million times before, etc.
The stuff that feels like a drag doesn't drag anymore. And the stuff that I enjoy? I still enjoy it. But more, because I don't have to deal with the stuff I can't stand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
When you use AI enough, you start to see the words and phrases it loves to use: "In the digital landscape," "Let's be real," etc. Type is no different in this regard, and I'd love to see a feature where we can list all the phrases and words we never want it to use.
