That it takes 72 hrs to get a student added and showing on the route sheets and in our SIS, Infinite Campus program. It would be better if this process was 48 hrs.

Some of our boundaries are varied along roadways and that is tricky sometimes in setting the district eligibility limits of bus ridership. I like this software a lot more because it provides more routing quality, it allows to specify where the students will be picked up, at a specific point if necessary, it helps to improve the productivity of the schools, allowing each of the vehicles to be located by means of GPS. , the way to manage extra trips, helps reduce costs and expenses, their reports allows us to reorganize our routes in the area and when we encounter any problem this software allows us to really see which ones present a complaint and on those routes and deepen to solve them promptly. Sometimes areas arise in our region that usually do not appear in our routes, to be able to implement them to the GPS system, that is something that displeases since it does not let us know which route needs modifications or if some student could not be picked up at his assigned time, the interface also I think is very complex, for how simple is this software. Verstrans allows our GIS and transportation departments to keep bus routes setup for the school district, pinpointing exactly from where we need to pick up our students and plan routing. It has helped us reorganize our bus routes to save more money and also work with our GIS dept to re-engineer our zone lines when we find issues. The software can be a little clunky. A district like ours has a lot of outlying regions that are not connected, so to get those imported it can be bit of a chore. Updates to roadways and zones are sometimes a bit difficult to import and get correct and re-mapping students are tedious. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

There's nothing that I personally dislike. It's an easy program to navigate. I haven't explored much, other than requesting and approving trips. So, from my user point of view, I believe Versatrans Triptracker is headed in the right direction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The amount of data that you can retrieve from the system and craft into reports is amazing! The flexability of the software is enough to adapt at anything we have thrown at it.
