Founded in 2022 by Patrick van Rietschoten and Wout Eggink, Twin develops technology that goes beyond generic text generation, combining deep contextual understanding, precision, and ease of use to help professionals work smarter, not harder. Twin Docs makes applying for grants and subsidies simpler, faster, and more successful. The platform brings structure, collaboration, and quality together in one workflow, giving consultancies the control and consistency they need to deliver high-quality applications under tight deadlines. Whether it concerns WBSO, MIT, Horizon Europe, Innovate UK, or any other innovation grant program, Twin Docs supports the full application process, from document intake and automatic structuring to collaborative editing and final submission. Built specifically for grant consultancies and innovation advisors, Twin Docs addresses the challenges that generic AI writing tools cannot solve. Grant applications demand traceability, source transparency, and rigorous human oversight. Twin Docs is designed to support consultants in their work, not replace them. Keeping the professional firmly in control while removing the administrative friction that slows teams down. Key capabilities include: - AI-powered structuring that automatically organizes input into the right application format - Collaborative editing so multiple consultants can work on the same application simultaneously - Source-aware content generation with full visibility into which documents inform each section - Quality control features that reduce errors, inconsistencies, and last-minute revision rounds - Secure document handling that meets the confidentiality standards required in the subsidy industry Organizations using Twin Docs report up to 80% time savings on application work, fewer errors, greater consistency across submissions, and higher success rates in securing funding. Teams gain structure, calm, and confidence and clients receive better-supported, more compelling applications. Twin AI also actively builds the professional grant consultant community through SubsidieExperts NL in the Netherlands and Grant Experts UK in the United Kingdom, connecting innovation advisors who write grant applications for business clients across Europe.
