TrueTag Reviews & Product Details

Shopify tracks how many of a product you have, not which individual unit a buyer received, so buyers cannot confirm the item in their hands is real. TrueTag gives every unit its own serial number and QR code, created automatically as orders come in or made by you in bulk. A scan opens a public verify page that shows the item is genuine, the product and any warranty with its expiry date. No app or login for the buyer, and never any buyer details. The same check is available as a simple public API, so an AI assistant a buyer asks can confirm a code too. For the brand: print QR labels by batch on plain paper or peel-and-stick sheets (free on every plan), let buyers register their warranty, see scans of codes you never issued, and export your data. The Pro plan adds an API to create and read units from your own software. Built for brands whose products get copied or resold: electronics and accessories, phone and parts resellers, cosmetics, supplements, collectibles and luxury goods.
