TRM is very intuitive. It has detailed explanations of functions along the way. The support staff is very responsive and helpful. TRM is very easy to get going and tracing cryptocurrency. There is no limit of queries or graphs you can make. This becomes very helpful for complex cases where I have had to make multiple graphs for one case.

What I appreciate most about TRM Labs is its transparency in risk assessment. When an address is flagged as risky, the platform clearly shows why it's considered risky and which specific transactions led to that determination. As a fraud prevention team, TRM Labs has become an essential part of our toolkit. What sets it apart is the exceptional transparency in its risk flagging system. When we investigate a suspicious address, TRM doesn't just tell us it's risky – it shows us exactly why and traces back to the specific transactions that triggered the alert. This clarity is crucial for our fraud investigations and helps us make quick, confident decisions when reviewing customer transactions. The platform is also remarkably user-friendly for daily fraud operations. Sometimes we use the tool 7 days-in-a-row. Even team members who are new to blockchain analysis can navigate the interface and understand the risk indicators without extensive training. The clean layout and intuitive design mean we spend less time figuring out how to use the tool and more time actually catching fraud.

Another major advantage is TRM's extensive address database. Compared to competing fraud detection tools, we can screen far more addresses and get reliable risk scores. This broader coverage means fewer blind spots in our fraud monitoring, which directly translates to better protection for our organization and customers. The customer support deserves special mention – when we identify an address that should be flagged but isn't currently in the system, their team responds incredibly quickly and the updates are reflected in the tool almost immediately. The biggest pain point for our fraud team is the graph visualization performance. When we're investigating complex fraud rings or addresses with heavy transaction activity, the graph feature becomes extremely slow – sometimes it won't load the addresses at all.

In fraud prevention, time is critical. When we're trying to stop a suspicious transaction in real-time or trace a fraud network quickly, these performance lags can be genuinely problematic. We often have to work around the graph feature or wait extended periods for it to render, which impacts our response time during active fraud incidents.

While the rest of the platform is smooth and user-friendly, this performance bottleneck in the visualization tool needs optimization. I have used a few tracing software platforms, and TRM by far is the easiest to use and has more information than I could ask for. For investigating crypto-related crimes, TRM has all the tools I need, and with TRM, I have been able to identify suspects in many cases. When I have needed assistance with a trace, the support is right there and never leaves me hanging. The ease of creating graphs and Excel sheets to present to the state for criminal cases is a great tool. I use TRM at least three to four times a month for criminal investigations. The user interface and just overall ease of use of the platform is amazing. You do not have to be a crypto guru to navigate the platform, instead it guides you along, has a lot of ability for help and troubleshooting. Moreover it really affords you the ability to see the ins and outs of addresses and transactions easily and clearly. It's intuitive and easily integrated into your investigations.

Their support teams are fast to respond, ready and willing to help guide you through whatever you are dealing with.

The search function and each link data point is quick without much lag no matter the size of the data set or number of transactions involved.

Lastly there seems to be way more attribution available in TRM than any other platform. With this as well it's easy to see that attribution, often with the address listed specifically to its association, eliminating any guess work. At times when sorting through transactions it can take a bit for the next list of transactions to load when looking for additional transfers in an address. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used multiple crypto-tracing tools. TRM's main advantage is speed and ease of use. To quickly assess a targeted address and be able to make recommendations for action with as few clicks as possible is a benefit.

A good tool, but I don't use it standalone. I often verify with other competitors and verify on open-source explorers to ensure outcomes.

It's not consistent on what (or where) you click on items to get copies of the data for pasting into reports (sometimes a hover, sometimes an icon, sometimes on the item, etc.)

The collaborative tools available has assisted in investigations. The detail of tracing out the hashes, as well as the various other tools available provides a wealth of information and insight. I also like and appreciate the ability to customize each case. The detail and information provided by TRM is fantastic! The mobile tactical platform and desktop platform is very user friendly and has helped initial tracing of addresses when I've received calls from our patrol deputies. I use TRM almost every day, whether its to update cases, initiate a trace or even TRM Academy.

Anytime I had a question and sent a request, I receive almost an immediate response from TRM support with an answer. As I have become more comfortable using TRM, the ability to integrate the data and information into my cases has greatly assisted in case progression. There are times when it becomes challenging to determine and identify whether an address is a hot wallet, cold wallet, exchange address or an exchange using the API of another exchange. Also, in filtering transactions having the ability to filter and sort the "relative amount" in transactions could enhance tracing since there are times trying to find the asset amount vs relative amount USD can be very challenging. has enhanced the ability to better understand cryptocurrency transactions on the blockchain, however in particular the "identify interest" feature has been very crucial connection with other law enforcement agencies to share investigative information. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The IP Tab has not been useful for me so far. However, this is largely due to the nature of the investigations I am conducting, which focus on organized crime and money laundering.
