"Single Console Which Managed All McAfee Security Solutions"

What do you like best about Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator?

Management of all McAfee components from a single console.

One of the best reporting, we can create and pull custom reports.

The option to create a custom dashboard is superb.

Integration with AD to pull AD structure is a great option.

Deployment of any McAfee components from the EPO is just seamless.

One of the best features is Agent Handler, where remote users can easily communicate with the EPO server and pull any task and policy.

The concept of the super agent is excellent for reducing bandwidth utilization.

The feature of Tagging plays a vital role in the phase-wise mass rollout of any components.

We can get email alerts for required incidents.

Can integrate with SIEM to get Audit Logs and Threat Event Logs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator?

ePO doesn't have active-standby architecture.

ePO doesn't have High Availability architecture.

Maintaince of DB is bit tedious job, you are SMB or Enterprise customer, you will required SQL specialist to maintain ePO DB. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Before setting up McAfee ePO, make sure all required ports are open through firewall.

Use recommended server configuration depending on number of nodes.

Use tagging feature for phase wise rollout of any McAfee components.

What problems is Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator solving and how is that benefiting you?

We can manage all the McAfee Security Components from a single console, which includes Product Deployment, Policy Management and Reporting.

We can find unmanaged systems through ePO and deploy McAfee Agent and other components to meet compliance.

We can well manage roaming users through Agent Handler.

What do you like best about Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator?

It has the complete inventory of vulnerable assets, devices and systems in a single console where EPO agents are installed. The implemented policies are always synced with the agent systems perfectly if the systems are online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Trellix ePolicy Orchestrator?

After implementing the policies in the agent systems and if the desired changes failed through the policies, no error comes in the console. Then would require the logs review from the local system end and further tuning of the policies. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The graphic user interface is quite a bit old as compared to the other platforms in the market. I recommend an upgrade. Also, sometimes I get a problem with the Product Deployment tab. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
