**What do you like best about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

Easy to set up with a fairly intuitive UI. We mainly use weekly "pulse" one question check-ins, and occasionally do longer surveys as well. Appreciate that it's anonymous but that you can still see data from different groups of folks. The pulse surveys have industry data to compare your own with, and it's easy to select different questions or move them around to show up on different weeks. You can also write your own questions and compare the results over the year. Plus there's a Slack integration which I think really helps with responses.

**What do you dislike about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

Not much! There are a couple of actions in the interface I wish I could do in fewer clicks, but that's minor. It's overall very easy to use and get employee feedback.

**Recommendations to others considering TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services:**

It's a great product and their team is really helpful. Reach out and ask for a demo!

**What problems is TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting regular employee feedback rather than waiting weeks or months for that information (and potentially having folks feel frustrated). Helps employees to be heard, and gives us a way to show we're hearing them.

**What do you like best about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

TINYpulse Engage allows us to get a better understand of our team members and how they're feeling, in any given season. It also helps us to be able to interact with them and find solutions that will increase their happiness. On the other hand, if their happiness is high, we like to find out why so we can repeat that in a variety of ways.

**What do you dislike about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

Sometimes the questions are not relevant to us or our team, and sometimes these questions don't seem like they have a full grasp of valuable feedback. I'd say, however, this is infrequent, but they do pop up every once in a while.

**What problems is TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows us to measure both happiness and stress level of the team. It allows us to listen to feedback, but also to take that feedback and implement strategies to find solutions to whatever may be the root of a lower-numbered ranking.

**What do you like best about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

I enjoy the simplicity of using the platform to send thanks, praise and shout-outs to colleagues for any help and advice given, or just to recognise a job well done in support of the team.

NB. I used to use TINYpulse at my previous job for Access UK quite a few years back.  This was the platform we used for "Cheers for Peers" until the company changed it to their own shout-out system, Applause.  In my current role, I am a new starter and have not yet used the TINYpulse to send and receive praise as yet.

**What do you dislike about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

Nothing of note comes to mind when thinking of how TINYpulse could be improved, but a points scheme for accrued praise in recognition of good work would not go amiss.

**What problems is TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The program allows hard work of others and yourself to be recognised and shared, so this benefits all those in the company who may use it.  It's always good to be credited for helping others and doing your job well.

Seeing the different responses.  I feel they are honest and helpful.
I appreciate giving employees an avenue to be heard.   I am not familiar with other platforms but this one works for us.

**What do you dislike about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

Sometimes the open-ended questions don't get as good participation as the other question types.
I also miss the old happiness graphs we used to create that tracked our happiness score over the last 12, 18 months.

**What problems is TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It gets information from the departments back to leadership.  They review and take action to resolve issues based on the feedback from TP. 
I think some processes have benefited from this information.

**What do you like best about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

TINYPulse is a great way to recognize your team members and be able to call out specific things they did to contribute to pushing the needle forward. Sometimes it can feel awkward to praise someone directly over email or a chat function so it's nice to have TINY dedicated to this purpose and also allows "admin" or "management" the oversight to see where their team goes above and beyond. I love being able to celebrate my colleagues in an effective but also efficient way.

**What do you dislike about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

I don't find any downsides personally. I think it may not be the top way everyone likes to be celebrated but that's personal preferences.

**What problems is TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Recognition for co-workers for the "little" things. Some people thrive more on being noticed for the day-to-day. It helps keep people motivated knowing that others notice their contribution. Especially as it doesn't come only from your superior, anyone on your team can celebrate something you did.

The ability for employees to respond anonymously encourages honest feedback and suggestions. We use the private responses to show responsiveness and encouragement.   We also will add 'for fun' questions into the mix.  We sometimes use targeted question re: a change we are considering as a way for staff to be able to express their views freely.

**What do you dislike about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

We are a small organization and even though we don't identify departments, some staff are concerned about being able to be identified.    
We incorporated tracking employee happiness and the platform changed to stop tracking that after a period of time, but we still would like to monitor that.

**Recommendations to others considering TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services:**

Be sure your team understands the level of anonymity.  Give them a 'behind the scenes' view, so they can see what administrators/supervisors see.

**What problems is TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Most staff provide services out in the field and during the pandemic, everyone was working remotely.  Tinypulse helped leadership stay aware of the 'tone' of the team and address concerns before they had time to fester and develop into bigger issues.   It also helped us assess if something was truly an organizational issue, or if it was more of an individual concern.

It is easy for employees to respond in a timely fashion. You can respond directly from the email in your inbox without needing to log in. You can control the cadence and choose from a library of questions.

The themes that the responses are placed in are not usually correct and would be nice to have an emoji button to recognize what employees write in text responses particularly for positive reviews.

Regular feedback from employees so that they know we are here to listen to them consistantly. We are giving them an avenue to share which they never had before.

I love the gifs in cheers for peers! It adds a dynamic approach to recognizing your coworkers. And it makes it fun!

I dislike, as a super admin, that suggestions cannot have an approval before submission. Some comments have been straight-up bullying and would have been better of being deleted before being seen.

It is solving pain points for employees. It is also benefiting me as a super admin by grabbing a quick snapshot of the daily goings-on around my organization. A "tiny pulse" on how employees are feeling!

A cleaner way to complete company-wide yearly performance reviews would be helpful. TinyPulse is our primary tool for this. If we could find a more efficient way, it could be more accessible for our reviewers and provide review information faster.

We are trying to keep a team of over 100 remote employees consistently engaged while also receiving useful feedback. Our team spans all timezones and many states, so this tool has kept us connected.

The TINYpulse name expresses perfectly how this tool works. It measures regularly the social pulse of the company in the form of tiny but relevant questions that the employees can answer anonymously. Depending on the creativity of questions this can be turned into a really insightful employee management tool.

By clicking on the survey response we are taken to login and then one has to answer the survey again. This can be slightly annoying especially if it is a type in response.

Creativity is needed with this tool for the best results.

The onboard process was so simple and easy.  I love that our employees love it and that we finally have a way  to measure engagement beyond an annual survey.  I love the ability to employees to PM with admins and hope to see an increase in responses over time.  I am very happy with the information we have been able to gather in just a short 6 months.

There are times that changes are made to the platform without proactive communication going out.  Sometimes the changes happen before we know about them.

TINYpulse is one of the few engagement platforms that allow for communication with respondents anonymously.  It is helpful that we can connect with an employee to ask for more information when we need to dig deeper.  It helps make the feedback actionable.

We have created an open platform for our employees to communicate and share ideas.  Employees love it and we are seeing higher participation and increasing happiness scores.  One problem we are helping to solve by using TINYpulse is communication.  Employees feel like they have a live way to share ideas and they know we are listening due to the ability to comment.  I also really have found the share feature to be a driver in participation as I see an increase after I share my weekly report.  Managers are reviewing the reports with their teams and all levels are benefiting from the tool.

**What do you like best about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

With weekly "pulses" our team is easily able to give feedback anonymously and leadership can address concerns or otherwise provide more clarity proactively. I also like the "Cheers" function to celebrate those colleagues who go above and beyond.

**What do you dislike about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

This is a minor concern, but the information we gather is only as strong as our employees' participation. I think many are not convinced it is truly anonymous or otherwise afraid of accidentally self-disclosing. So we don't often get more than a 50% response rate. The information we receive would be more powerful if we had a higher response rate but I don't know how to improve that.

In the past it has allowed us to stay ahead of any growing concerns or complaints and more proactively address them before they become more significant issues. The team also enjoys having a public forum for showing their appreciation for their colleagues.

TINYpulse is simple to use from both an administrative and employee experience perspective. Customer service is best in class. From implementation to the day-to-day support, I am always able to get my questions answered quickly. The pulse is easy and hands-off with the auto cadence you can select. The flexible survey option allows us to ask specific questions to ensure we are getting real-time data at any time along the way.

It would be helpful to add to the pulse when needed vs. having to create a separate flexible question.

TINYpulse is an easy-to-use platform with great support. Employees like it, and it is straightforward from an administrative perspective.

We have seen an uptick in participation because the pulse is quick and easy for employees. We get data that we have confidence in and can adjust as needed quickly to enhance employee engagement.

You can change questions, segments, timing, formats so easily--the TinyPulse program is incredibly flexible and dynamic.  I like that you can sprinkle fun questions in with serious ones.

I would like to see Cheers feeds and comments visible to users in real time instead of in Shareback links only.  I think the Onboarding module has a wrinkle in it that I need some tech support for also.

I am setting the stage for my team to think about upcoming initiatives, programs or opportunities before they get announced.  It also helps gather suggestions and feedback that support my projects when I pitch them to leadership.

TinyPulse eliminates egos and forces you to hear the people who are keeping your company going. It forces ownership and but you have to make it a priority to arm people with the power to also bring constructive ideas in order to find solutions. TinyPulse has given our Credit Union the opportunity to live up to our mission and values every day. Our leaders value our feedback and TinyPulse helps employees to provide it and feel heard. I couldn't recommend TinyPulse more and wish every company used Tinypulse!

Absolutely nothing. I love TinyPulse and wouldn't change a thing.

The presenters had great information, especially Omar Shahine!

There were no breaks between sessions. 8 AM- 11 AM is a long time to go without being able to step away for a second. I know they provide recorded versions after, but I don't want to re-watch every presentation to find out if I missed anything in my 5 minute bathroom break. A brief 5 minutes between presenters would be so much better. There was also a session (David Hunter) where the screen appeared to be sitting on his lap and the video was moving so much it was difficult to watch.

Choose questions carefully and make plans to respond to every suggestion and survey response.

The platform has been simple to figure out admin wise but also easy enough that there hasnt been trouble getting people to complete it. The results we see are also pretty easy to understand.

the customer service has been very subpar but I just got assigned a new rep today so hopefully that will improve

Many of the functions are "almost there", but have some sort of limitation or design flaw that keeps it from being awesome.  Some examples: Suggestions - comments are no longer viewable when a win is achieved. Progress Plans - They conflict with regular surveys.

Honestly there is not much I DON'T like about TINYpulse Engage. Two of the most compelling aspects of TINYpulse are: How easy it is to navigate and use, as an administrator and as an employee participant; and How TINYpulse is consistently improving upon their platform and tool to make the experience more robust, relevant, and user-friendly.

**What do you dislike about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

The only thing I dislike is that we don't have the capacity organizationally to really leverage TINYpulse to its fullest. While it is easy to use, there are aspects and features within the system that take strategy and coordination (in other words - time! :)) to do really well. We're not there yet.

**What problems is TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

One of the biggest problems we are solving, that was revealed in an Employee Engagement Survey a few years ago, is creating the space for our employees' voices to be heard. We currently have about 800 employees and TINYpulse offers a way for all of those people to contribute to our culture, to how we change and evolve, to identifying challenges and how to solve them.

TINYpulse is very easy to use. People seem to like giving each-other positive feedback and cheers  through it. The regular, quick surveys are something I do appreciate, as well as being able to compare our results to industry baselines. It's nice that there is a possibility to add a gif-reaction to cheers, which gives an easy-going twist to it all.

**What do you dislike about TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services?**

Rarely, some people would just vent anonymously and it is hard to take the next step in solving their issue if they decide to not cooperate. It's a rather rare occasion, and it's not necessarily a problem of the product itself, but it's something to have in mind. Still, it's much better to see that there is a problem and try to figure it out than not knowing about it at all.

**Recommendations to others considering TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services:**

Start with cheers, and then add regular questions to the mix. Decide which questions matter the most and look at how your scores behave over time, in order to adjust your management style and find problems early.

**What problems is TINYpulse by WebMD Health Services solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We're regularly measuring the engagement and happiness of our employees in an unobtrusive way and TINYpulse happiness score has become one of the measures we look at on a quaterly basis. We compare measures to previous periods. We use it for giving cheers and positive reinforcement when outstanding work is being done. In due time people started sending cheers to each-other and this is one of the things that help create a positive culture in our team.

I like the easy layout and the weekly Pulse cadence. Makes it fast and easy for employees to give ongoing feedback.

We were apparently a beta client for the baseline survey, which I was not aware of. There have been some flaws in the rollout including a change in rating systems which makes comparing progress difficult. Our customer service team did work with us to re-calculate original responses to the new scale but it took months.

The platform is easy to use, and the Slack integration has been incredibly helpful for us. You can easily set up your weekly pulse questions (or every other week), and you can track how your team is responding real-time. We got Tinypulse because we wanted the ability to respond back to employees and start conversations even though it's from an anonymous source.

The tool can be clunky for admins if you go beyond the initial level. There are some obvious changes that the product team can improve on. I think the way they set up their infrastructure may be hindering their ability to adapt quickly.

This is an additional tool for employee engagement. It does not replace what you may use for onboarding, employee reviews, work planning.

Ability to gauge how the company is feeling, and by departments. We no longer have to wait for a quarterly eNPS result, but we can check in every week. We are figuring out how regularly we want to pulse, but it's so easy for employees to complete. Our happiness score has increased in the few months we've been using it, and employees feel like they are heard more given this additional channel.

When I took over TinyPulse for our firm, i had to learn a lot on my own, but it would have been nice to have a training (maybe TinyPulse does and I don't know about it).  I have been a little frustrated because I don't feel like I utilize TinyPulse to the maximum for our firm.
