## About Tiana & Co.
Tiana & Co. is on-demand, pay-per-report import compliance screening for solo founders, private-label and marketplace sellers, and small importers — the businesses that never had a compliance department. It runs the same public U.S. government sources a large importer's team would search and returns a cited report: a supplier is screened against the forced-labor watch lists U.S. Customs uses (the DHS UFLPA Entity List and CBP Withhold Release Orders) and the federal sanctions lists (OFAC's SDN and Consolidated lists and the U.S. Consolidated Screening List), and the product is checked against CPSC's flagged-code list for its HTS code. Each of the three checks is reported independently and never blended into a single score, and every finding is cited to its official source so it can be verified. What makes the results defensible: the matching and the verdicts are deterministic code, not model output — the same supplier and the same lists produce the same answer every time, and no language model can change a verdict. A language model writes only the plain-language explanation of what a finding means, checked against the cited sources before delivery. Tiana is a research and screening tool, not a licensed customs broker. It helps an importer understand and prepare; the broker makes the final entry filing.
