What do you dislike about The Jupyter Notebook?

One of the negatives of juyter notebook is that there might be cases where the variables might get jumbled up as you can run the cells one by one. You might end up running a piece of code that might change the way the code running is expected. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great for teamwork and code sharing"
4/5
What do you like best about The Jupyter Notebook?

I love how you can share a Notebook or even work it in a centralized IDE workspace. The UI and customization possibilities as well. I find it is an excellent tool for exploratory and testing developments. The ability to render visualizations and prove hypotheses on the fly is amazing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Jupyter Notebook?

Sometimes I find it is not the best option for development. It's great to test and explore, but I usually do the final coding using a more software development optimized IDE than Notebook. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Magic Notebook"

What do you like best about The Jupyter Notebook?

It is very easy to install. It comes with rich export features. You can mark down the code and write notes in a cell after changing the cell type from code to markdown. Apart from that, it has a user-friendly UI. It is an open-source tool. So, it is free to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Jupyter Notebook?

Sometimes while running a lengthy code, the notebook gets stuck. Assuming you work with multiple virtual environments, you would need to download the library in the right environment. And if you want to use the same library in another virtual environment, then you will have to redownload the library. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"The Jupyter Notebook - Your very own Notebook"
5/5
What do you like best about The Jupyter Notebook?

I am a Python Developer. First of all, I would like to tell you that The Jupyter Notebook Editor Software is a Web-based, Interactive computing environment that is Free to Use and provides an easy-to-understand interface for developers, mainly for Python and its related libraries like Matplotlib, Pandas, NumPy, etc. To understand your codes just like you jot them down in your text notebook, Jupyter Notebook can help you with all of that and that too in just one directory. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Jupyter Notebook?

For a beginner, it might be overwhelming to open files from your computer into the Jupyter notebook because it uses Python Kernels to locate the files in your system. But it can be easily solved using some commands in the Anaconda cmd prompt. Moreover writing long codes can lead to duplicacy of same lines of code that are to be used to run the program so you have to be confident and keep a check on the code before its execution. "Best Python IDE for notebook style coding."
5/5
What do you like best about The Jupyter Notebook?

Jupyter notebook is very light and does not take a lot of space. It works in your web browser itself. Also is very light on your system hardware. Compared to Google Colab it can be used in offline mode also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Jupyter Notebook?

Importing libraries is very data consuming as we have to install them on our local machine. We also have to install the libraries in the correct working environment. To import it into a new environment we have to again download it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
