"Best for computing across all programming languages"
5/5
What do you like best about The Jupyter Notebook?

I like the interface of Jupyter Notebook better than any other IDE. It runs smoothly on my browser and is super lightweight. I can code the program in blocks and Jupyter saves the results of each code block individually. Whenever my code stocks I can easily restart the kernel and repeat the process. It provides the flexibility to run any code block independently. The support for different programming languages is commendable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Jupyter Notebook?

The only con I find about Jupyter Notebook is that there is no separate dedicated IDE available for it. Also, it doesn't tell the time or show any progress about how much a code block will take to complete its execution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Jupyter notebook review"
4.5/5
What do you like best about The Jupyter Notebook?

Jupyter notebook gives a beautiful interface for python programming. The best part I liked is that it involves both Text and Code simultaneously. This is useful because the code can be explained as storytelling. Most cloud platforms like AWS, Azure and GCP use jupyter notebook as their coding interface, which is very useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Jupyter Notebook?

Some software integration does not work with Jupyter notebook. Also, I wish Jupyter notebook provide GPU like google colab by connecting to some external server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent Python Coding IDE"
4.5/5
What do you like best about The Jupyter Notebook?

The best thing about Jupyter Notebook is that it is super easy to use even if you are a fresher just taking baby steps in Python programming. It has got a clean UI offering simple yet streamlined code development environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Jupyter Notebook?

The major issue I have with Jupyter Notebook is that it does not provide a good version control mechanism. If you are planning to collaborate with others on your project, then it becomes virtually impossible to do version controlling. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have used the Jupyter Notebook mainly as an IDE for Python coding. Some of the things I disliked are as follows:

1) The configuration and setup consumes a lot of time.

"Good notebook for python coding"
4/5
What do you like best about The Jupyter Notebook?

I tried Google Colab and Jupyter Notebook for Python coding. I found that Jupyter is far better than Google Colab. Jupyter Notebook is fast, runs smoothly with our system, and did not crash while running. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about The Jupyter Notebook?

Nothing. Because I like the software. Compared to other Python coding software, it's very good. But I have a suggestion, the notebook does not have a catchy GUI. If it has a good GUI, that's better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
