What do you like best about Testlify?

It provides comprehensive support for setting up both MCQ and coding exams, and the UI is also user-friendly for end users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

In my recent coding placement drive, after completion of the exam, in report section when I was verifying the marks of candidates, it was showing different count at question level and when I dug down into the question the marks were shown based on test case marks, both marks were different, can improve this Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Testlify Streamlined and Standardized Our Candidate Screening Across Teams"
5/5
What do you like best about Testlify?

Before we introduced Testlify, one of the challenges we had was keeping candidate evaluations consistent across different departments, especially when hiring both academic and administrative roles.

Now, once candidates apply, we send out assessments as part of the initial screening stage. After they complete them, our team reviews the results and uses that to decide who should move forward to interviews. That process has made it easier to align hiring decisions across teams instead of relying only on resumes or individual judgment.

The platform itself is simple to use, and it doesn’t take much effort for hiring managers to check results and give feedback, which helps keep things moving without delays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

One area that could be improved is flexibility when working with assessments. In some cases, it would be helpful to adjust existing tests more easily instead of creating new ones.

It’s not a major issue, but it can slow things down slightly when working across multiple roles. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We're delighted to hear that Testlify has helped standardize candidate screening across your teams and made the hiring process more efficient and consistent.

We also appreciate your input regarding the flexibility of editing existing tests. Your suggestion has been noted and shared with our product team.

"Helps structure candidate evaluations and makes interviews more focused"
5/5
What do you like best about Testlify?

One thing that stood out after using Testlify for a while is how it helps bring more structure into the evaluation process, especially when multiple roles are involved.

In our hiring process, we typically send assessments before interviews, and the results give us a clearer idea of what to focus on during follow-up conversations. It’s been helpful in guiding discussions rather than relying only on resumes or initial impressions.

The reports are detailed enough to highlight strengths and gaps, which makes it easier to align with the rest of the hiring team when deciding who should move forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

One area that could be improved is flexibility within reports. While the insights are useful, having more control over how results are presented or customized would make them even more practical for different use cases.

It’s not a major issue, but something that could add more value over time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you for your thoughtful review. We're glad to hear that Testlify has brought more structure to your evaluation process and helped make your interviews more focused and efficient.

We also appreciate your feedback regarding report customization. Your input has been shared with our product team for future consideration.

"Modern, Fast, and Fair Candidate Screening with Smart AI"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Testlify?

Testlify: A Smart, Fair Way to Screen Candidates

I recently took a Testlify assessment as part of a hiring process, and I'm glad to report—I passed and moved forward to the interview round. Here's a detailed breakdown of what I experienced:

UI/UX - Modern and Intuitive

The platform looks polished and feels modern. Everything was easy to find and navigate. I didn't waste time figuring out where to click or what to do next. The interface is clean, organized, and actually pleasant to use—which matters when you're stressed about an exam. Compared to other assessment platforms I've used, this is a significant step up.

Onboarding & Support - Exceptional

Before I started, the instructions were crystal clear. I knew exactly what to expect, how long each section would take, and what the rules were. No confusion, no surprises. And when I had a quick question during the process, the support team responded quickly and helpfully. That kind of customer care makes a huge difference in your test-taking confidence.

Performance - Lightning Fast

The platform was incredibly fast. Zero lag, zero delays, zero loading issues. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. This matters because technical hiccups can throw you off your game, and Testlify didn't have any.

AI & Intelligence - Genuinely Smart

What impressed me most was how intelligent the AI felt. The assessments actually adapted to my responses. It wasn't just static questions—the difficulty and relevance felt like they were responding to what I was doing. The behavioral simulations and job simulations felt genuinely smart, not just cookie-cutter templates. It felt like the AI was actually evaluating my capabilities, not just checking boxes.

Proctoring - Professional & Trustworthy

The proctoring system worked flawlessly. It felt secure without being invasive, which gave me confidence that the results would be legitimate. The company would know they got a fair assessment of my actual abilities.

Value for Money

As a candidate, I appreciated that the company invested in a quality assessment tool. It felt like they took hiring seriously and wanted to give me a fair shot. From a value perspective, Testlify delivers—it's a comprehensive, intelligent screening tool that actually works.

Bottom Line

Testlify is a solid platform that makes the assessment process less stressful and more effective. The modern interface, intelligent AI, excellent support, and smooth performance all add up to a genuinely good experience. If you're facing a Testlify exam, don't stress. Prepare honestly, and you'll have a fair chance to showcase your abilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Testlify: Excellent Overall, But Time Management Could Improve

I recently took a Testlify assessment as part of a hiring process, and I'm happy to say I passed and moved forward to the interview round. Here's my honest breakdown across all the key areas:

UI/UX - Modern and Intuitive

The platform looks polished and feels modern. Everything was easy to find and navigate. I didn't waste time figuring out where to click or what to do next. The interface is clean, organized, and actually pleasant to use—which matters when you're stressed about an exam. The design feels like it was built for users, not just functionality.

Integrations - Seamlessly Connected

What stood out was how smoothly Testlify seemed to integrate with the company's hiring system. My results appeared to flow seamlessly into their ATS without any friction. As a candidate, I could tell the company wasn't struggling with manual data entry or system compatibility issues. This kind of smooth integration shows Testlify was built to work within modern recruitment workflows.

Performance - Lightning Fast

Zero lag, zero delays, zero loading issues. Everything ran smoothly from start to finish. This matters because technical problems can throw you off your game, and Testlify didn't have any. The platform felt responsive and reliable throughout.

AI & Intelligence - Genuinely Smart

The assessments adapted to my responses. The behavioral simulations and job simulations felt genuinely intelligent, not like templates. The questions seemed tailored to evaluate actual capabilities. The AI adapted its difficulty and relevance based on how I was performing, which felt fair and effective.

Support & Onboarding - Exceptional

Before I started, the instructions were crystal clear. I knew exactly what to expect, how long each section would take, and what the rules were. When I had a question during the process, the support team responded quickly and helpfully. That level of care makes a huge difference in your confidence going in.

Pricing/ROI - Worth the Investment

From a candidate's perspective, I could tell the company invested in quality assessment tools. Testlify delivers real value—it's not just a checkbox screening tool. The comprehensive nature of the testing (coding, behavioral, simulations) means the company gets genuine insight into candidates, and we get a fair evaluation. That's worth the cost.

The Minor Downsides

Time Management: I felt rushed during some sections. Not all sections needed the same amount of time—some were easier to complete quickly, while others required more thought. Better flexibility or clearer time warnings would help. The job simulations especially could have used a bit more breathing room.

Question Wording: A few questions had confusing wording that I had to read multiple times. Clearer, more straightforward phrasing would make the assessment less frustrating and more focused on testing actual skills rather than language comprehension.

Bottom Line

Despite these minor issues, Testlify is genuinely excellent. It's comprehensive, intelligent, seamlessly integrated, and fair. The company clearly invested in a quality tool, and it shows in every aspect.

If you're facing a Testlify exam: Prepare well, manage your time strategically, and read questions carefully. The assessment is fair and will give the company a real picture of your abilities. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable, Straightforward Assessments for Standardized Hiring"
5/5
What do you like best about Testlify?

In our case, as part of a larger talent acquisition team, we needed something that could handle assessments across different roles without making the process overly complicated, and Testlify has been fairly reliable for that.

We use it to send assessments early in the hiring process, especially for technical and mid-level roles, and it helps standardize how candidates are evaluated before interviews. The variety of tests is useful, and the platform is straightforward enough that recruiters and hiring managers can both navigate it without much friction.

The reporting is also helpful it gives a quick overview of candidate performance while still allowing us to review specific areas when needed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

One thing we’ve noticed is that some of the more advanced features, like deeper analytics or report customization, can take a bit of time to fully get used to.

Also, during periods of higher usage, there have been occasional delays or minor performance issues, although they haven’t significantly affected our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you Adrienn for sharing your feedback. We understand that deeper analytics and report customization may have a learning curve, and we appreciate your patience as we continue to improve our platform. We're also actively working to address any performance issues during peak usage to ensure a seamless experience for all users.

"Testlify Makes Early Candidate Skill Screening Fast and Easy"
5/5
What do you like best about Testlify?

In our recruiting workflow, one of the things that’s worked well with Testlify is how easy it is to send out structured assessments early in the process.

We usually assign tests right after candidates apply, and it gives us a clearer picture of their skills before we move to interviews. The variety of assessments helps depending on the role whether it’s more technical or general and the setup is quick enough that it doesn’t slow things down.

It’s also simple to navigate, so managing multiple candidates at once hasn’t been an issue for the team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

One thing I’ve noticed is that some assessments can feel a bit broad for more specific roles, so it sometimes takes extra time to find the best fit or adjust the setup.

It’s not a major issue, but having more flexibility there would make it even better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you for sharing your experience. We're glad to hear that Testlify has helped streamline your early candidate screening and made the hiring process more consistent and efficient.

We also appreciate your constructive feedback regarding assessment breadth for more specific roles. Your input has been shared with our product team for continued improvement.

"Testlify Streamlined Our Candidate Screening with Easy Assessments and Clear Reporting"
5/5
What do you like best about Testlify?

As a COO in a small software development team, we needed a more consistent way to screen candidates without slowing down the hiring process, and Testlify has helped with that.

We use it early in the hiring flow to send assessments after candidates apply, which allows us to evaluate their skills before scheduling interviews. The platform is easy to navigate, and setting up assessments doesn’t take much time, which is important for a smaller team without a dedicated recruiting function.

The variety of available tests has also been helpful for assessing different roles, and the reporting gives a clear overview of candidate performance, making it easier to decide who should move forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

One limitation we’ve noticed is around customization. For more specific roles, it would be useful to have greater flexibility in modifying assessments instead of creating new ones from scratch.

It would also help to see more niche test options added over time, especially for specialized skill sets. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

Thank you for sharing your detailed experience. We're glad to hear that Testlify has helped streamline your candidate screening process and made hiring more structured and efficient for your team.

We also appreciate your constructive feedback regarding customization options and the availability of more niche tests. Your input has been shared with our product team for continued improvement.

5/5
What do you like best about Testlify?

What stands out the most about Testlify is their exceptional support team. Their willingness to listen to feedback, act on it quickly, and maintain clear communication throughout made a huge difference for us.

Overall, the combination of strong technical capability and customer-first support makes Testlify a very reliable platform for conducting assessments at scale. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Testlify Streamlined Our Screening and Early Skills Assessments"
5/5
What do you like best about Testlify?

In our case as a recruiting team in mental health care, we were trying to make our screening process more consistent across different roles, and Testlify has helped a lot with that.

We now use it to send assessments early in the hiring process, which allows us to evaluate candidates on actual skills before moving to interviews. It’s made things more structured and easier for both recruiters and hiring managers to align on decisions.

It also integrates well with Lever, which we’re already using as our ATS, so moving candidates into assessments doesn’t require extra manual steps. Overall, it’s been fairly easy to manage and navigate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

One area that could be improved is the reporting side. The summaries are helpful, but for larger hiring needs, having more detailed insights or deeper analytics would make it easier to compare candidates at a more granular level. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Response from Testlify Support of Testlify

We're thrilled to hear that Testlify has helped streamline your screening process and make it more consistent across different roles. Integrating well with Lever and providing a structured approach for evaluating candidates are some of the key benefits we aim to offer.
