"Effortless Hiring with Ready-Made Assessments"
What do you like best about Testlify?

I like how Testlify offers the ability to conduct pre-tests for potential employees. This feature is incredibly useful for making the hiring process more efficient and streamlined. Furthermore, I am really impressed by the extensive library of 300+ ready-made assessments available in Testlify. These assessments simplify the testing process by providing a wide variety of templates to choose from, which makes it easier to evaluate candidates comprehensively and effectively during the hiring process. It ensures that the pre-test procedures are carried out seamlessly, reducing the initial setup time and hassle. Additionally, the setup itself was straightforward, with Testlify being very easy to set up, which adds to my appreciation of its user-friendly design. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

I'm not entirely satisfied with the pricing factors of Testlify. This aspect seems to be an area that could use some improvement. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Testlify beats Hireflix and testGorilla on ease of use"
What do you like best about Testlify?

I used Testlify, Hireflix, and TestGorilla while applying for jobs. Here's how they compare.

Testlify wins on ease of use. The interface is clean. You know where to go next. Instructions are clear. I finished the tests faster because I didn't waste time figuring out how the platform works.

Hireflix frustrated me. The video recording setup took too long. The timer started before I was ready twice. The interface felt clunky. I spent more time fighting the platform than focusing on my answers.

TestGorilla sits in the middle. The dashboard is organized. Tests load fast. But the question navigation is confusing. Going back to review answers takes too many clicks. Some test types work better than others.

Testlify keeps things simple. Start test. Answer questions. Submit. Done. No technical headaches. No confusion about what comes next.

For time-pressed applicants, Testlify respects your time. You log in, complete what you need, and move on. The other two make you work harder than necessary.

If companies want good applicants to finish their assessments, they should pick Testlify. I finished those tests. I gave up halfway through some Hireflix ones. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

Limited feedback. No sense of how I did. No practice mode. You go directly to the test. the platform looks dated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive UI, Room for Improvement"
What do you like best about Testlify?

I found Testlify to be a positive experience, particularly appreciating its user-friendly UI, which made navigation smooth and intuitive. The structured multiple-choice questions and realistic time constraints enhanced the evaluation process. The ability to flag questions for review was a beneficial feature for managing time and staying organized during assessments. The reminders for the time remaining, such as notifications a few minutes before timeout, were extremely helpful in maintaining awareness and preventing progress loss. Additionally, Testlify's simple UI was a significant factor in my team's decision to switch from Codility, highlighting the platform's ease of use. The initial setup was straightforward, involving simple steps that were easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

I find it challenging that the coding panel on Testlify cannot be minimized beyond 75%, which makes it difficult to read longer problem statements. It would be extremely helpful if there were options to collapse, resize, or float the coding window for easier reference to the full question text. Additionally, I am frustrated that error messages are not clearly visible when the code is executed. After clicking 'Run Code,' the output or error details should appear in a more prominent and readable section, since the current setup makes it easy to miss or overlook these error messages. "A great tool in helping shortlist the necessary candidates as a creative writer and beta reader!"
What do you like best about Testlify?

As a professional beta reader and content writer, what I particularly liked about Testlify is that it has cut down a lot of my time and provided some reliable skills to consider through getting ideas from their pre-set tests and interviews before I hire more niche people for my team, and it can also be curated based on my requirements. What I liked most about it is that it allowed my educational workspace identity to evaluate candidates, since I wanted to hire from my academic space, thus ensuring professionalism. Their personalised evaluation was a great help, as it gave a perspective on how to reduce bias and ensure fair options. Moreover, the features of Testlify were clear and direct. I needed to use their customer support, and they were prompt in their response. Indeed, it is user-friendly and reliable. Highly recommended! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

As much as it helped me navigate the types of skills I can consider for hiring the candidates, some of the ready-made questions were not fully aligned with my niche work – beta reading is one of them; thus, I had to create my own, which took quite some time. When it comes to creative tasks, especially in literary fiction, it is slightly limited. Nothing major as of yet. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Organized and User-Friendly Assessment Tool"
What do you like best about Testlify?

I like Testlify because it is organized and clear, which makes using it a seamless experience. The platform divides assessments into different sections and organizes questions into similar groups, making it easier to navigate and find what I need in each section. I appreciate the range of features it offers, such as timers and options for video or chat answers, which enhance the assessment process. The clean layout and appearance of the software contribute to an overall great experience. Furthermore, the initial setup was very easy, which added to the positive experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

I find the two separate timers for questions and video recordings confusing. The instructions regarding these timers could be clearer to help users better understand the timing constraints. Additionally, the absence of a redo button for the video feature is frustrating, as it complicates the process of correcting mistakes without an easy way to retake a video. "Effortless Job Assessments with Testlify"
What do you like best about Testlify?

I love the breaks between sections during the test on Testlify. After completing each section, I can pause, relax, and gather my thoughts before moving on, preventing exhaustion over long durations. This break system is incredibly helpful, especially during the ninety-minute test assessments I took, where the section breaks allowed me to refresh myself and maintain peak performance throughout the test. Additionally, Testlify allows me to submit answers and navigate backward or forward through questions fluidly, which makes it flexible for reviewing my responses. Another aspect I appreciate is how Testlify doesn't interfere with browser extensions, viewing them as mere screen icons unless I attempt to access them. This ensures a smooth experience without unnecessary distractions or system slowdowns. The platform's adjustability is also commendable; it lets me maximize or minimize the display without issues around window ratios. Logging in is also straightforward and fuss-free, needing only an email and password, making the setup process extraordinarily easy. Overall, the user-friendly design, paired with these functional features, greatly enhances my test-taking experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

I think everything was good, but it would be better if there was a system where I can have a separate panel of questions. This panel would show me how many questions I have completed, how many are marked for review, and how many are yet to be attempted. Having all questions visible on the right-hand side of a particular section—those I've answered, marked for review, and not attempted—would be a beneficial feature. "A dependable and intelligent hiring platform that saves time and ensures top-quality talent"
What do you like best about Testlify?

The AI-powered accuracy and smooth automation. The structured assessments, detailed analytics, and easy collaboration tools help our hiring managers and engineers align quickly on top candidates. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

The platform is strong overall, but it would be helpful to have more advanced role-specific tests for cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and system architecture. These additions would make it even more versatile for IT services companies like ours. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"AI-Powered Assessments Streamline Skill Evaluation"
What do you like best about Testlify?

I find Testlify particularly beneficial as a software engineer because it provides me with a platform to pass assessments in the testing domain. This is invaluable as it helps me validate my skills effectively. The AI-powered questions in Testlify are a standout feature for me. They allow for the identification and assessment of my skills with precision, saving both time and effort. Additionally, the platform's ability to automate processes is a significant advantage over manual methods, streamlining tasks that would otherwise be time-consuming. The setup process for Testlify was easy, and I appreciate the platform's compatibility with existing systems and the stable bandwidth that allows everything to work cohesively. Overall, Testlify offers a robust solution that supports my professional growth and skills development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

I find that Testlify could improve by providing more interactive questions and enhancing some of its existing features. It would be beneficial to have more choices or flexibility in how assessments are presented, perhaps with AI evaluation. This enhancement would make the tool even more effective for skill assessments and reduce potential misuse during exams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Intuitive Design Makes Testing Easier"
What do you like best about Testlify?

I really appreciate Testlify for its neat user interface, which stands out compared to other online assessment platforms I've used. One feature that I particularly enjoy is the constant timer displayed at the top, which helps in managing time effectively during assessments. This attention to detail in the design and the overall user experience contributes positively to the usability of the platform. Additionally, the initial setup of Testlify was incredibly easy, allowing me to get started without any hassle. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

I'm unsure if this is specifically related to Testlify, but I encountered an issue where some assessment questions were lengthy but allowed only a minute for response. It would be beneficial if all questions were allocated at least two minutes to ensure thorough and thoughtful responses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simple, Fair Testing with Minor Compatibility Issues"
What do you like best about Testlify?

I appreciate Testlify's simplicity and its ability to ensure a fair testing environment, which is particularly important to me. The use of a camera and microphone during the test added an additional layer of fairness and integrity that I highly valued. The process of using Testlify was straightforward, contributing to a smooth testing experience. I also found the initial setup to be extremely easy, which adds to its usability. Based on the positive experience I had with the testing process, I am quite likely to recommend Testlify to others, with a likelihood rating of 9 to 10. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Testlify?

I encountered a problem when using Testlify on the Edge browser. It prompted me to disable extensions, yet did not function properly even after I complied. The only resolution was to switch to Chrome, where it worked smoothly. Additionally, I would appreciate having the option to log in directly with Gmail to simplify user access.
