I really like how powerful and practical technomatix is for real word manufacturing work. The simulation tools are very accurate, especially for robotics. We can check robot paths,detect collisions, and validate the whole steup before anything goes to the shop floor. I really appreciate how much it can handle in one platform- process planning, robot programming, layout validation,ergonomics, everything.
It also integrates well with other siemens tools,which makes data handlining smooth.
The more i use it, the more useful it becomes for day-to-day manufacturing planning. Once you use the software frequently, then it became very easy to use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main thing i dont like is that the learning curve is quite steep.It takes time to get comfortable,especially with the advanced simulation tools. Some tasks feel more complicated than they should be.
Beacuse of that the ease of implementation also takes longer than expected.

Tecnomatix 2512 has added the Process Simulate Copilot in the area of useful AI advancements. This enables cloud based deployments with Sequence optimizer for cycle time analysis, creation of manufacturing operations for collision free paths. For the new Tecnomatix 2512 there are issues reported for deployment with Teamcenter involving recognition issues.
