TasteMind Reviews & Product Details

TasteMind is a digital QR menu platform for bars and restaurants with a built-in drink recommendation engine. Guests scan a QR code, answer a few quick questions about what they're in the mood for, and get matched to three drinks on that venue's own menu, each with a match score and a plain-language reason why. It works like a sommelier in every guest's pocket, helping people who don't know wine, beer, or cocktails order with confidence instead of defaulting to the second-cheapest glass. Unlike generic recommendation tools, TasteMind only ever suggests drinks from your actual menu, never a generic wine or beverage database. The matching engine is rule-based, so recommendations are instant, consistent, and explainable. Sold-out items are automatically excluded, and staff picks can be boosted. TasteMind is built for wine bars, craft beer bars, cocktail bars, and restaurants with a drinks or wine program, including multi-location operators. Key features: QR digital menus. Guests scan and browse in their phone browser, with no app and no signup. Go live in minutes from a template or CSV import, with 89 ready-made drink styles and taste profiles built in. Drink recommendation quiz. A short "Help me choose" questionnaire recommends drinks from your menu with a match score and a one-line explanation. A guest's matches resurface while they browse, so they never have to retake the quiz. Live availability board. One tap behind the bar greys out a sold-out item on every phone in the room. Ideal for rotating taps and bottle lists. Automated happy hour. Schedule a pricing window once and prices switch automatically, with a live countdown and was/now pricing on every device. Smart filters. Guests narrow by price, ABV, calories, dietary needs, allergens, or alcohol-free. Built-in guest analytics. Track unique and returning visitors, views over time, top items, the full quiz funnel with drop-off detection, device split, per-table breakdowns, and CSV export, with no setup required. Multi-language menus. Publish your menu and quiz in Danish, English, German, French, Spanish, and Italian, with automatic guest language detection. Your branding. Your logo, colors, and fonts, in light and dark mode, plus printable QR table tents for the whole venue or per table. TasteMind is web-based, requires nothing for guests to install, and is currently free to use. It helps venues increase drink discovery, upsell premium and pairing options, reduce guest decision paralysis, and understand what guests browse, get recommended, and order, right down to the table.
