We can create the design quickly with effective walkthrough video and render images with an ordinary system. I don't find any dislike about this as open-source software gives its full options. **What problems is Sweet Home 3D solving and how is that benefiting you?** I have been using this software since my schooling days. After using it, I was inspired by this, and now I am pursuing my doctorate in civil engineering. The online version isn't update and is not working anymore it was very useful. **Recommendations to others considering Sweet Home 3D:** There is no reason not to use this software if you need to do some layout, design, interior displays, architecture, animation, photos, it is very useful, and it is free. This software has an online version however I recommend using the desktop version, the web version is not bad, but it runs much better on the desktop and is easier to use. **What problems is Sweet Home 3D solving and how is that benefiting you?** This software has been very useful to me when making sketches of interiors of houses, offices, shopping centers, etc., showing how it would look like or organizing spaces, as well as it has also helped me to create animations and show in a more interactive way some environment before being taken to reality, customers like to see how their projects will look even before building, this helps the client to make changes, as they see how the place they want to remodel or create looks if they do not see how they imagine it. them in this case the software is very useful and meets the requirements, because I can create 3D models in a short time, very specific, detailed and uncomplicated, with the great variety of 3D models that it has, the creation time is shortened, although you can add your own models, just slide, edit, add textures and color. ### 11. It makes it really easy to bring rooms to life, and get them to envision something that they could not otherwise with 2D visuals on paper or the computer. It's also nice that you can use base plans, and don't have to start from scratch. **What do you dislike about Sweet Home 3D?** When it comes to any exterior, backyards, fronts of buildings, etc. it is very limiting. **Recommendations to others considering Sweet Home 3D:** I would definitely recommend using this product. I can imagine that other softwares designed for this can be extremely complicated and not nearly as intuitive, which may be good for graphic designers and architects, but not for the average user. It is very easy to use and it can be interesting to try some furniture design ideas in defined environments, it is useful for doing very basic tasks. **What do you dislike about Sweet Home 3D?** It does not comply with the parameters and requirements for projects with professional appearance, its scope is limited, its preset tools are not flexible and designing environments is a task that leaves you unsatisfied with the result, the furniture that you can insert is limited and is very bad accomplished. The gallery of objects available for insertion have a discontinued appearance, they do not correspond to the current market of available products. **Recommendations to others considering Sweet Home 3D:** You should not have high expectations regarding the results, it is very useful to introduce the world of 3d design and understand basic concepts of design software. **What problems is Sweet Home 3D solving and how is that benefiting you?** It was a tool used to generate tests of interior design and appearance of furniture proposals, a tool for temporary use to show basic aspects of forms and characteristics of designs placed in certain environments, the result although quick to opt was not what we expected. It is not a program of daily use, nor is it necessary for it to be handled by the entire design work team, it is not an indispensable tool. ### 13. Sweet Home 3D allows for me to supplement my lack of imagination with an easy to use floor plan tool. **What do you dislike about Sweet Home 3D?** Some of the graphics seemed a bit dated, there were some times I wished that I could incorporate better place holders. **Recommendations to others considering Sweet Home 3D:** I think it is easy to use and the owner of the company was able to sit me down and teach me in an afternoon. It offers a 3d type viewing engine for displaying furniture and other items within designated rooms. The program is not the most up to date nor the easiest to use. However, it does a number of different types of furniture and other objects that can be manipulated to produce a fairly accurate view of what a house will look like after its furnishings are moved in. Where it excels is the price tag, which can be quite nice. **What do you dislike about Sweet Home 3D?** The interface could definitely use updates and its object library functions could be expanded as well. The layout tools are not always intuitive and the program can run slowly at times. Essentially you are getting what you pay for and that is not necessarily a bad thing. The program feels like a bargain basement product at times but still works. **Recommendations to others considering Sweet Home 3D:** Definitely consider other products on the market and look at more expensive products. The price increase for a better product might be worth it for some consumers. On the other hand, the program does work fairly well without too many bells and whistles. All scales perfect. **What do you dislike about Sweet Home 3D?** certain furniture types don't exist so you have to instead modify the dimensions of a diferent piece of furniture, which can be a little jarring in 3d view when you have a 6 foot tall sofa in place of a certain item, for example. **Recommendations to others considering Sweet Home 3D:** It's free for most features that you'd want, so I can't say much is up with it. Learn to modify furniture pieces dimensions, as the pieces come in standard sizes which won't be anything similar to your own house in most cases. **What problems is Sweet Home 3D solving and how is that benefiting you?** Used this to redesign my kitchen.
