"It helped us replace assumptions with real user feedback"
4/5
What do you like best about Survio?

I'm usually pretty picky with survey tools because a lot of them hide useful features behind endless menus. Survio wasn't like that. I found my way around pretty quickly. One thing I really liked was the conditional logic. We had a survey where only users of a specific feature needed to answer certain questions, and setting that up was way easier than I expected. It also meant people weren't wasting time answering questions that didn't apply to them. Another thing I ended up using a lot was the automatic charts and summaries. Most of the time I wasn't trying to build fancy dashboards, I just needed a quick way to spot patterns before a product meeting. Instead of spending time organizing data, I could spend that time actually looking at what the responses were telling us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Survio?

The editor and templates are easy to use, but I do think some of the more advanced logic options could be easier to find. More than once I discovered a useful feature simply because I kept clicking around and exploring. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined Feedback with GDPR Compliance"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Survio?

For our Berlin IT firm focused on self-hosted Nextcloud environments, Survio’s privacy-focused controls are its biggest strength. I can set tailored data retention timelines and fully anonymize participant responses out of the box, which makes staying compliant with GDPR and BDSG far less of a headache. The native analytics engine automatically compiles response data into readable charts, so I no longer waste time copying raw answers into Excel for sorting. The embed function also works reliably with our internal Nextcloud portal; staff submit feedback without jumping to external third-party pages, which eliminates unnecessary data transfer risks for our German operations. What do you dislike about Survio?

The platform has major gaps for mid-sized enterprise IT setups running self-hosted stacks. There’s no native LDAP or SSO connection compatible with our Nextcloud environment, so our team has to manually match user permissions every time we launch a new survey. Audit trail functionality is very bare-bones, meaning I need to compile extra documentation ahead of regulatory audits to prove full GDPR adherence. Advanced white-label branding is only accessible on expensive top-tier plans, and when building multi-stage IT satisfaction surveys, intricate conditional skip logic frequently crashes or fails to save properly mid-build. "Effortless Feedback Collection, Perfect for QA Teams"

What do you like best about Survio?

I really like how practical and user-friendly Survio is for our automotive production and quality control work. Building surveys is incredibly straightforward with common question types that can be put together in minutes without any complicated setup. It performs solidly across different devices, loading fast and displaying clearly, which ensures no technical hitches for our team. The automatic data organization feature is a huge plus, saving me loads of time sorting through responses and making it easy to check overall results. I appreciate that it focuses purely on essential survey and feedback functions, keeping it stable and reliable all day long. This simplicity makes it perfect for our frequent internal assessments. Additionally, the setup was straightforward and required no special training, which allowed us to roll it out quickly without disrupting our routine. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Survio?

When we survey workshop teams about production workflows, component assembly issues or quality check procedures, we often want to set smart skip rules. For instance, if a worker selects that they frequently encounter part fitting problems, we’d like the survey to automatically jump to follow-up questions asking about specific part models, fault frequency and on-site handling methods. If someone answers they have no related issues, those extra questions can be skipped entirely. Without this feature, we have to put all questions into one fixed form. The surveys become unnecessarily long, and frontline staff end up reading and clicking through many irrelevant questions. This not only lowers their willingness to complete the forms carefully, but also makes the collected information less focused. Adding flexible conditional branching would make our surveys more targeted and user-friendly for everyone on the production floor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy, Professional Surveys with Intuitive Templates and Real-Time Analytics"
4/5
What do you like best about Survio?

What I like best about Survio is how easy it is to create professional-looking surveys without needing a lot of technical experience. The interface is clean and intuitive, making it simple to build, customize, and distribute surveys quickly. I also appreciate the variety of templates, real-time reporting, and analytics features, which help streamline feedback collection and make it easier to turn responses into actionable insights. It’s a practical tool for both small projects and larger-scale customer or employee feedback initiatives. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Survio?

One downside of Survio is that some of the more advanced customization, reporting, and branding features are locked behind higher-tier plans, which can feel limiting for smaller teams or budget-conscious users. The design flexibility is good for standard surveys, but it may not be robust enough for users looking for highly advanced logic or deeper integrations compared to some enterprise-focused survey platforms. Occasionally, exporting and formatting reports can also feel a bit restrictive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy Way to Get Real Customer Feedback"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Survio?

Extreme Ease of Use

Survio is widely praised for its intuitive drag-and-drop interface. Users can create professional-looking surveys in minutes without any technical training. It is often cited as a more "user-friendly" alternative to SurveyMonkey.

2. Professional Templates

It offers 100+ pre-built, scientifically sound templates (NPS, employee satisfaction, etc.). These templates include suggested questions, which helps eliminate survey bias and saves significant time during the design phase.

3. Automated Real-Time Analytics

As soon as responses come in, Survio automatically generates:

Visual Charts: Clean, presentation-ready pie charts and bar graphs.

Dashboards: Real-time overviews that can be shared with stakeholders via a password-protected link.

One-Click Reports: Exports to PDF, DOCx, and PPTx (on premium plans).

And security also compliance for your work and Data Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Survio?

Restrictive Free Version

While Survio has a free tier, it is quite limited:

Response Cap: It typically limits you to 100 responses per month (sometimes as low as 50 depending on the current promotion).

Locked Features: Basic tools like logic jumps (skip logic) and data exporting (Excel/CSV) are often behind the paywall.

2. Pricing Structure

Some users find the jump from the "Free" to "Personal" or "Business" plans to be expensive.

Short-term Use: There is a lack of affordable "one-off" or short-term subscription options, which can be a hurdle for students or small projects.

Cost of Advanced Logic: Advanced branching and logic features require a higher-tier subscription.

3. Customization Limits

While the designs are "clean," they are not fully white-labeled unless you are on the more expensive plans. Users have noted that:

Branding: Removing the "Powered by Survio" footer requires a paid plan.

Design Tweaks: Font size adjustments and deep CSS customization are limited compared to competitors like Typeform.

4. Lack of Native Mobile App

While the website is mobile-responsive for survey-takers, there is currently no dedicated mobile app for survey creators to manage results on the go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Survio?

I use Survio constantly for my daily HR and office operations work at GreenOffice Admin GmbH, and I appreciate how simple, practical, and beginner-friendly it is. I love how easy it is to build professional-looking surveys from scratch using its ready-made HR, employee satisfaction, and event feedback templates. The editing interface is intuitive, with no complicated settings, allowing me to complete surveys quickly. The anonymous response feature is something I really appreciate as it encourages honest feedback from our team, which is valuable for improving our workplace policies and culture. I also really like its automatic data analysis and built-in reporting function, which organizes survey results into clear charts and straightforward summaries, saving me time from manually sorting data and creating Excel reports. Survio focuses on exactly what small businesses need, offering stable, easy-to-use survey creation, feedback collection, and simple analytics, making my daily HR work much lighter and more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Survio?

The biggest downside is its weak conditional logic and skip question functionality. When I design structured employee satisfaction polls, training feedback forms, and internal policy questionnaires, I need to set differentiated question paths based on respondents’ answers. But Survio only supports very basic rule settings, with no ability to build complex multi-layered skip logic. This means I have to keep all survey questions visible to everyone, forcing employees to go through irrelevant content. It unnecessarily lengthens the filling time, leads to careless random answers, and noticeably reduces overall survey completion quality and response rate. Another obvious shortcoming lies in data export and report formatting. Although it allows exporting survey results, the exported raw data is disorganized, with fixed fields that cannot be customized or adjusted according to our company’s internal reporting standards. The default charts and summaries are too simplistic, with no way to adjust data dimensions, filter by department or employee group, or generate formatted official reports directly. I have to spend extra time sorting, rearranging and reprocessing data in Excel before I can submit usable analysis reports to management. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Survio?

I use Survio for collecting yearly feedback from employees. It allows me to make forms with questions and analyze the responses. It's the questions form that collects feedback for me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Survio?

I don't like that when I downgraded my subscription, Survio automatically upgraded it when they sent their bill. They automatically take the money from my card, and I can't stop them. I've talked to support, and they tell me they do not offer to downgrade the tier, but they do it on their webpage, which is wildly misleading. I have now downgraded the tier 3 times, and twice they have upgraded it and billed me for new months that I have not ordered. They tell me this is by design. What do you like best about Survio?

I appreciate how quickly and reliably we can create professional surveys with Survio without needing technical training. The interface is straightforward, so we can build safety audits, supplier assessments, and internal feedback forms in minutes. I also value its consistent performance across multiple locations, letting us send multilingual surveys and collect responses in a unified dashboard, which saves us enormous time. The data export functions are simple and compatible with our reporting tools, which is essential for compliance and internal reviews. Reliability and data safety are strong points, fitting our needs as a German industrial company. The platform is stable, handles high-volume responses well, and supports GDPR-compliant data handling. For our focus on safety, efficiency, and regulatory adherence, Survio delivers practical, no-fuss value with minimal setup or maintenance. The initial setup was extremely straightforward and hassle-free, with no need for technical support or special training. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Survio?

The customization options for branding and layout feel limited, making it harder to fully align surveys with our corporate design for formal client and supplier assessments. Advanced logic like complex skip patterns or conditional branching is less flexible than enterprise tools, which restricts how we structure detailed safety and process audits. We also find the reporting and data filtering tools somewhat basic; deeper segmentation for cross-site comparisons and long-term trend analysis would help more with operational decisions. Some bulk response management features feel slow when handling large volumes of internal staff surveys. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Survio?

I appreciate Survio for its intuitive interface and a wide range of templates, which makes it simple to create professional online surveys quickly. The platform's strong focus on GDPR-compliant data protection is essential for our work in Germany, providing ready-to-use privacy settings and data handling options. The reporting functions are fantastic, as they help us summarize results clearly for internal meetings, turning raw data into tidy charts and summaries. I also love that the initial setup was very straightforward, requiring no technical knowledge or IT support, allowing us to launch our first survey within 15 minutes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Survio?

There are areas I would like to see improved. Some advanced question logic and customization options are limited in the basic plan, and more German-language design templates would be helpful for regional surveys. Also, deeper integration with common European business tools, especially CRM systems like Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, and smaller local solutions, would help us automatically sync survey responses with customer records without manual exports. More flexible white-label and branding options would be great for fully customizing surveys to match our corporate design, which is important for professional B2B communication in Germany. Finally, advanced filtering and segmentation in the reporting section would let us analyze responses more precisely, such as filtering by region, company size, or customer group.
