First, Melon makes it simple to set up a live stream. You can broadcast from any device with a camera and microphone – desktop computer, tablet, or smartphone – quickly without being a technical wizard. I did not need to refer to any documentation or seek advice on my initial streaming setup. Second, I can create highly customized designs that match our branding. For example, I can select our brand colors, font type and color, background color, and background image. Melon has met my needs for a live streaming app. Although it is easy to broadcast to WordPress websites using third-party plugins, I wish Melon offered a WordPress plugin that enables live streaming via RMTP. I loved the app when I first used it. My experience was good and seeing the price points makes it a perfect choice. What do you dislike about Streamlabs Talk Studio? I was using melon and went with their pro plan. It was working well until I faced a bug where it was always showing my camera is in use. It contacted the support and they said they would solve this coming live. When I shared my timing, they said we are busy now and unable to help you. It was totally an unexpected reply. I liked Melon at first until they did updates that meant the sound kept dropping off multiple cameras on Mac, making it unusable and having to keep rebooting streams. It worked fine when I first started using it and it was only the latest update that's made it all go wrong so I had to revert back to EcammLive which never has any issues at all. What I really dislike is the deliberate attempt to stop you canceling your plan by not having any kind of link on the dashboard to your account settings, you literally have to go off to Google looking for support and then I got charged for another 30 days. After emailing and asking them to refund as I hadnt even used it for more than 30 days, I got a dismissive reply literally saying '"cancel earlier next time so you don't get charged!" You can imagine the fury! Not my idea of customer service especially when I was on the $49 business plan and have now paid for 2 months service I still can't use!! The ability to start a live stream in less than a minute and the fact that you don't have to download any software. What do you dislike about Streamlabs Talk Studio? It's not intuitive to customize the banner and background,not a big deal. It is pretty intensive on my device. And if the other party doesn't have a good internet connection it lags a lot, and I mention that because I have compared it to other web-based video software, and stand-alone products as well during the same time frame.
