StoryBirdie turns a screenplay into a production-ready shot list and storyboard. Upload a Fountain, PDF or DOCX script and get one row per beat with director-grade metadata — shot size, angle, camera movement, blocking, action, and the characters and props in frame — each row linked back to the lines of script it came from. Before that, an analysis pass reads the script and flags continuity, logic and formatting problems against the passage that caused them. Where most AI storyboard tools start from a prompt you type, StoryBirdie starts from the script you already wrote. That means the shot breakdown — deciding which beats deserve coverage and what size and movement each one gets — happens once, automatically, instead of by hand before the tool can help you. A 90-page feature and a one-page scene go through the same path, with no chaining of eight-image batches. It is a copilot, not a one-shot generator. Merge two shots, split a beat, reorder, regenerate a single frame, and steer it with plain-language notes like "handheld throughout". Frames hold character consistency, the 180-degree rule and blocking across a sequence, so the boards work together rather than only looking good one at a time. The plan leaves the building in whatever form you need. Shot lists export to XLSX, CSV or Markdown for the crew, storyboards to print-ready PDF, and a Generation Brief packages the shots, a character bible and one reference frame each in the field convention Veo 3, Sora 2, Runway or Kling expect — so you can plan from the script and then take the plan to whichever video model is best this month.
