What do you like best about SQL-RD SSRS Data Driven Automation?

The best part for me is the way it handle scheduling and automating the reports. Before I was doing things manual and wasting lot of time, now I can just setup once and the tool deliver reports by email or other format without me doing nothing. What do you dislike about SQL-RD SSRS Data Driven Automation?

Sometimes the interface feel a bit old style and not very intuitive at first. Also configuration can take some time if you are new to it. A bit more modern UI and faster setup wizard would make it perfect. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SQL-RD SSRS Data Driven Automation solving and how is that benefiting you?

It solve the problem of repetitive manual reporting. Before I had to generate SSRS reports one by one and send them to different people, which was slow and easy to make mistakes. With SQL-RD I can schedule and automate everything, so reports go out on time and to the right persons. This save me many hours each week and make the process more reliable for the business. What do you like best about SQL-RD SSRS Data Driven Automation?

What I most like SQL-RD is the chance to not only automate classical reports,but also job routines ,that are not necessarily linked by sending a report.In fact it is very easy to setup a job via GUI by clicking on custom actions button and then select your kind of job such as run a program, send a copy of a document and so on. What do you dislike about SQL-RD SSRS Data Driven Automation?

What I don't like is that it is not an open source solution and as consequence we need to rely on their support that I assume to be expensive. Another negative point is that code is not readable and this could be a weakness in terms of security. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering SQL-RD SSRS Data Driven Automation:

I would only recommend this product to only mid or large companies due to the cost of the licence that it is not easy to incur for open community like a University. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

1) It is a best solution to automate the process. User can get scheduled and ad hoc reports a very specific time.

2)User can reports in the preferred format.

1) SSRS has very effective options in creating a report according to business needs.

2) The report builder version is very user-friendly and looks more like our MS word interface feel.

3) Multiple data sources can be connected and datasets can be connected to create a report.

4) SSRS enables us to create reports and publish them to public or subscribes members based on the criticality of the report.

5) Linked reports help in duplicating reports based on the report, rather than creating a new one every time for similar reports.

6) Subreports option helps us in linking two different reports.

It's user friendly. The rich GUI and interface helps both developers and customers have a great experience working with this tool. Plus it's very easy to build complex functionality in reports using simple sql statements and adding few formulas. Bar chart are the most commonly feature used.
