Create a random trees and Folicels really fast. Speed tree make my works faster and efficient

**What do you dislike about SpeedTree for Games?**

So far so good. Friendly interfaces and easy to use.

**What problems is SpeedTree for Games solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The hardest thing in game is make the scenery looks natural.

  ### 2. SpeedTree really brings a vision to life!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Games | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 26, 2022

**What do you like best about SpeedTree for Games?**

They have such an incredible array of ready assets you can use to pretty much create anything, with different textures and complexity, it's wild!

**What do you dislike about SpeedTree for Games?**

The asset library could be bigger and more options for real-time customization

**What problems is SpeedTree for Games solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I've been playing with it to be able to create new worlds and legitimately anything is possible with it! Haven't started playing around with the SDKs yet as I'm still learning but it's been such a great learning experience so far

  ### 3. single screen interface and makes it easy to build

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rohith R. | Human Resources Information Systems Analyst, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 15, 2022

**What do you like best about SpeedTree for Games?**

All options while designing are on one screen and real-time preview of how the trees look like when you make changes. You do not need to switch screens, and there are multiple options to choose from

**What do you dislike about SpeedTree for Games?**

There is no cloud-based if you want to use it on a different computer. You need to know ad learn on your own — very minimal support.

**What problems is SpeedTree for Games solving and how is that benefiting you?**

To design complex vegetation for games and try to replicate the same plantation for vast areas. It is good for VR development of vegetation.

  ### 4. Unique foliage, vegetation and virtually infinite types of custom trees

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Inder G. | Game Developer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** December 08, 2021

**What do you like best about SpeedTree for Games?**

SpeedTree facilitates you with easy-to-use tools to generate any type of unique trees and vegetation you want to use in your 3D world. The resulted trees can be exported to game engines like Unity3D and Unreal Engine.

**What do you dislike about SpeedTree for Games?**

The only thing I dislike is that you can't collapse the trees into editable meshes. So, the trees made can not be imported and edited in another 3D tool like Blender.

**What problems is SpeedTree for Games solving and how is that benefiting you?**

SpeedTree is best where we need a high number of trees that should not look like we copy-pasted one tree everywhere, especially in open-world games where the look of the enviromnment is critical.

  ### 5. Good integrations with Game Engines

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rob F. | Virtual Reality Developer - VR Mindfulness on Oculus Quest 1 + PCVR, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 07, 2021

**What do you like best about SpeedTree for Games?**

Ease of setup and creation. Assets are scalable/optimized. Efficient and beautiful materials.

**What do you dislike about SpeedTree for Games?**

Sometimes the integrations with game engines fall behins on updates. Didn't support Unity HDRP/URP for a long time.

**Recommendations to others considering SpeedTree for Games:**

Test the current sample assets out first in your game engine of choice to evaluate how good it looks as the support is falling behind sometimes so if render pipelines change.. you can have a hard time.

**What problems is SpeedTree for Games solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creation of vegetation for mobile/Vr/Ar apps

  ### 6. Best foliage tool by a mile

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isaac P. | Creative dIrector, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 22, 2019

**What do you like best about SpeedTree for Games?**

I love the ability to procedurally generate unique foliage within a given species to give my scenes that extra hint of realism. The speed with which you can make tweaks and build custom hero prop foliage is game-changing.

**What do you dislike about SpeedTree for Games?**

Speedtree can be a bit glitchy at times when it's trying to figure out the kinematics of complex bends and can take quite a lot of tweaking to get the look you want. That isn't to say that hand sculpting the same tree in ZBrush would be faster, not by any measure but it can be frustrating.

**Recommendations to others considering SpeedTree for Games:**

Use speedtree in conjunction with megascans for photorealistic results.

**What problems is SpeedTree for Games solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Speed tree allows my studio to populate our scenes with varied and unique foliage from grass to Giant mythical world trees. All while keeping production schedules and budget in place.
