The platform takes a process that used to be tedious and error prone and turns it into something streamlined and predictable. The automation around purchase order entry and acknowledgements has been especially valuable. Instead of chasing suppliers or manually updating changes, everything flows through a single, organized system. We have utilized SourceDay platform to enhance supplier connectivity directly within our ERP system and it has significantly improved our workflows. The direct integration with our ERP enables a smooth data exchange, which helps minimize manual data entries to reduce the risk of errors. The seamless ERP integration stands out—it syncs data accurately and gives better visibility and control over supplier performance than native tools alone. The Automation of mundane tasks was huge for my team. Constant emails and phone calls were very difficult to keep up with and keep track of. Being able to look at a dashboard and see whether or not a response was needed, then follow up in that same space and track the history of the communication and changes was not only a massive time saver, but it ensured that the follow up happened and that a response was received. It helped us to hold ourselves and the supplier accountable. Accuracy within our ERP was also very much improved. In the past, even when a conversation happened and a change was accepted, updating the PO in our ERP was a separate task and would get missed. This led to inaccurate planning and parts shortages. I can't say enough about the efficiency and accuracy gains on the team, we are doing more work with less people, we've reduced inventory and improved on time delivery. The SourceDay team is also a pleasure to work with and is so helpful from integration and implementation through the onboarding and training of suppliers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What do you dislike about SourceDay Platform? The platform is great, I have no complaints. You just need to be sure your team and supply base buy into it and really adopt it. Change is hard, but don't have a foot in two worlds, you will not realize all of the benefits if you don't embrace it and funnel the work through the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com. What problems is SourceDay Platform solving and how is that benefiting you? Keeping up with updates to PO's was nearly impossible. We were highly reactive, and focused on late PO's, which many times was too late to stave off a problem or parts outage. Our ERP system due dates were inaccurate and there was too much workload to keep up with. We added people and added inventory safety stock to cover up for cumbersome processes and inaccuracies. We now have a much higher on time delivery rate and utilize the supplier score to work with our suppliers and push them for improvements. Top performing suppliers operate on virtually zero safety stock, which has helped pull large amounts of dollars out of our inventory. Our ERP system due dates are kept accurate, due to the automated updates to the ERP, which helps us with our production planning. I use SourceDay Platform for Purchase Order Management and it helps me get visibility into where my orders are at and if any changes in quantity or cost are happening. I like the ease of use and how setting up workflows was easy, so it reduced the number of manual touches required on my end. The initial setup was very easy too. The aspect of Sourceday that is most helpful to me is the ability to manage all of our purchase orders and communication at the same time through one universal platform. The system works as a direct link into our ERP system. This ensures that our suppliers always have access to exactly what our system states. What do you dislike about SourceDay Platform? It's not that I dislike anything, its that many of the features I wish I had are additional add-ons that I have to get more approval for. SourceDay makes it very convenient and easy to keep up with purchase orders and make changes/corrections to them if needed. I like how it links to the internal system that we use, so if a change is made on our end in our system, it will update on SourceDay and notify the supplier/vendor. SourceDay has been solving problems such as past-due purchase orders, discrepancies in pricing on purchase orders, and other little things that we may miss on our end without having SourceDay. This is helping us by being able to follow up and make corrections to these problems. Also, the Support team at SourceDay has been nothing short of spectacular when helping us with user errors we may make on our end and supporting us through technology errors if they occur.
