What I like best about Song Go is how effortless it makes turning an idea into an actual finished song. I don't have any music background, but I can just type in my lyrics, pick a style, and get a real track in a couple of minutes without installing anything. The fact that it runs entirely in the browser is a big plus for me. I also really appreciate being able to use my own voice recording instead of a generic AI voice, which makes the songs feel personal and genuinely mine. On top of that, the free credits when you sign up let you actually test the quality before committing to anything, and the interface is clean and simple enough that I never felt lost. Overall it's the combination of speed, ease of use, and creative control that keeps me coming back. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The main thing I dislike is that the free credits run out pretty quickly, so if you want to experiment a lot or generate multiple versions of a song, you end up needing a paid plan sooner than expected. I'd also love more fine-grained control over the output—sometimes the generated track is close to what I imagined but I can't tweak specific parts, so I have to regenerate the whole thing and hope for a better result. Occasionally the vocals don't pronounce certain words the way I want, especially with less common lyrics, which means a bit of trial and error. It would also be nice to have more editing tools built in rather than having to redo a generation from scratch. None of these are dealbreakers for me, but they're the areas where I think there's room to improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
