It allows for the use of custom components as well as a library of components that came with the software. **What do you dislike about SolidWorks Electrical Schematics?** The learning curve is pretty steep and the software is not intuitive. Without training or another engineer familiar witht he software it can be difficult to use. **What problems is SolidWorks Electrical Schematics solving and how is that benefiting you?** It helps us design all of our wiring harnesses in all of our LRUs. It integrates with Solidworks 3D and allows for the routing of the harnesses with the proper mass and bend radii. ### 2. The extra features and capabilities it has compared to a lot of different cat software's I've used in the past is incredible. It is definitely my favorite CAT software now as I use it on a daily basis. **What do you dislike about SolidWorks Electrical Schematics?** Sometimes the software can take a little bit to load on my computer, but I think it may be partially my older computer. Nevertheless, if that is the worst thing I experience about this software, I think it says a lot! **What problems is SolidWorks Electrical Schematics solving and how is that benefiting you?** I'm designing a lot of different materials for my side job such as mini trailers, dumpsters, and many other metal products. It has a free trial version and there are hundreds of features. It provides an electrical symbol library and the design can be processed considering the manufacturer's part information. The drag and drop feature is very useful and easy to use. PLC tools are inbuilt so that this tool reacts as a complete package for electrical interconnector designing. **What do you dislike about SolidWorks Electrical Schematics?** This tool is not easy for beginners I think. They should need basic knowledge and training to use this tool. Again the paid version is costly. **Recommendations to others considering SolidWorks Electrical Schematics:** The best tool for designing for a company or collaboration in a project. **What problems is SolidWorks Electrical Schematics solving and how is that benefiting you?** I think as a designer the handiest thing in this tool is an easy collaboration with other sources to complete the design. Though it is taught starting as a beginner, there are a lot of training tools and contents online. There are tons of benefits. Copy and paste circuit enables new editing opportunities. You can generate 'Form-To' lists, wire lists, and other important documentation easily. I used the CAD tools and it is easy to collaborate with other software. Though I did not use the PLC tools too much It offers required features as I have experiences regarding PLC. Overall the service of this software was satisfactory. ### 5.
