What do you like best about Lumio?

My favorite is the game based activities, they offer students hands-on learning experiences that are interactive and engaging. Plus they are easy to create. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lumio?

I dislike the Bing image search; I wish they had a google image search. To solve this, I make my Google Slides and import them to Lumio. However, importing makes the Google Slide a flat image. I wish there was a way to edit individual slides Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lumio?

Students can interact with lessons in multiple ways and from multiple locations. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lumio?

I wish lessons had the option to "save changes" at the end of a lesson instead of automatically saving as you go. For teachers with multiple classes of the same subject, it would be nice not to have to make numerous copies of the same lesson unless you wanted to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Lumio?

Lumio has so many resources, but even more important, it's fun!!!!! All of your students are engaged and formative assessment is ongoing! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lumio?

The only downside is it works best if you have one-to-one technology in your classroom. If you don't, it is still beneficial and there are ways to get around it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Lumio is amazing!"

What do you like best about Lumio?

Lumio is a fantastic tool for creating presentations and games for both schools and kindergartens. Active games are incredibly cool, which both children and adult learners love. The Lumio user community is very supportive, and its members help each other daily. I get new ideas and knowledge daily, and I'm happy to share my experience with others. "From Skeptic to Lumio Fan!"
4.5/5
What do you like best about Lumio?

Lumio provides a fantastic platform for designing content to support students. It provided a great platform for teachers to design lessons and content for students to interact with which allows all students to contribute and share their student voices in the classroom setting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lumio?

Lumio is a new product and it shows in a few ways. While the platform is great at capturing student responses, it is not super easy for teachers to see those responses and provide feedback to their students. We have had conversations with SMART and the Lumio team and we understand that some of these pieces are being developed but at its current state it is lacking in a few areas. "Lumio- The easiest formative assessment tool there is!"
5/5
What do you like best about Lumio?

Lumio is very easy to use, you can start from something existing or from scratch. Every game is really easy to set up. The handouts and workspaces are my absolute favorite though! You can "pass them out" to students and watch them work without hovering over their shoulders. You can also work right along with them! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lumio?

Some of the teachers I work with think the themes on some games seem like an elementary level. I love that some allow you to add your own background instead of using the pre-built themes. I also wish there was an end-of-session report to show what students did and track their games plays. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Increase Student Engagement in your classroom!"
5/5
What do you like best about Lumio?

Lumio is simple and easy to use and learn. The best part of the program is being able to take a google slides that I already have created and import them into lumio to be able to add the interactive elements. Another thing I love is how I can create any page a workspace on the go! I am able to teach my lesson and base the lesson on my students in real time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lumio?

The only thing I can think of is when you are editing or creating an activity to make a slide a workspace or a handout you have to click the magic wand. This is hard for my teachers to remember where to find these options. It would be easier if they were all their own individual button at the top instead. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
