While the platform is great at capturing student responses, it is not super easy for teachers to see those responses and provide feedback to their students. We have had conversations with SMART and the Lumio team and we understand that some of these pieces are being developed but at its current state it is lacking in a few areas. **What problems is Lumio solving and how is that benefiting you?** Lumio solves a few problems in the classroom. I think that one of the major things that Lumio solves is providing students access to SMART notebook files for them to interact with and explore. I love that some allow you to add your own background instead of using the pre-built themes. The best part of the program is being able to take a google slides that I already have created and import them into lumio to be able to add the interactive elements. I am able to teach my lesson and base the lesson on my students in real time! **What do you dislike about Lumio?** The only thing I can think of is when you are editing or creating an activity to make a slide a workspace or a handout you have to click the magic wand. There are so many game-based activities to choose from! You can create quizzes, matching activities, fill-in-the-blank activities, and so many more. A new game-based activity that was recently released is a word search, which my students really enjoy! **What do you dislike about Lumio?** I have yet to find a downside to using Smart Learning Suite Online. It has made trying to teach virtually and in a hybrid model much less stressful. My in-person students love all of the games and activities. For those already familiar with Notebook 16 and newer, the format is extremely familiar and it's easy to jump into porting lessons online. Students love the mobile-enabled features like Team Quiz and poll features, and it's easy for the facilitator to see what each team is doing on their separate screens. **What do you dislike about Lumio?** I wish it was possible to make the font larger for certain interactive templates and that there were more typing space for the rank order like the older Flash-based version. **What problems is Lumio solving and how is that benefiting you?** At DLI, we're still using the obsolete version of Notebook 11 with the defunct flash, so the Lesson Activity Toolkit no longer works. It allows you to make interactive game-based activities in less than 5 minutes and is fantastic for assessment for learning using the SMART response. More recently, Lumio has integrated more learning and educational tools such as graphic organizers and Desmos. The software is web-based, so you can easily send a link for students to access your lesson or to share your lesson with other teachers. My workaround is to pick up a pen on the board and put a dot and then save it. 2. It would be great if the browser on the SMART Panels MX would have a save and save the email address. We have to type it in everytime to login to Google.com 3. We have discovered that downloading Notebook files from Google Drive to the Panel works better and faster than Lumio/SMART Suite.
