  ### 4. Amazing Platform!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Lachelle J. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is very helpful in term of organization and team collaboration. I love the fact that you are able to customize permissions with other users and we're able to build our company handbook for Administrators and Field Workers. It's easy to use and once you get a hang of it's functionalities, you'll love it! We are constantly adding to it daily, transferring all information from our Google Drive to the Slite platform. We use it daily and happy that we found it.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

At the moment, there is nothing that I dislike about Slite. 10/10 as of now.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Buidling our company handbook and keeping things organized. It benefits the entire team now that we are able to house our policies in one place and collab when necessary.

  ### 5. Very positive experience; the product fulfilled all our requirements and more.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rabih R. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Of course the AI (Serach and assistance in enhencing our documentation), but also, the powerful ways to collaborate on documents and share them securely internally/externally.
Easy to integrate with Active Directory.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

At first, I was surprised that SLITE uses a unique font. but in time, I found it advantagious for the standardization of our documentation, which made them more comprhensive and easier to use.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Onboarding new employees, Managing our knowledge base documentation, collaborating on setting processes

  ### 6. The hub for all knowledge within the company

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Yoran B. | Co-founder & CTO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite doesn't get in the way of writing, which is crucial when you want it to become a knowledge hub for the company. There can't be any friction for documenting, and Slite does that really well.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The search does not always work well, which can be frustrating as it's the main point of entry when the company has hundreds of documents.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite is our knowledge base. And the culture of documentation has become parto of the company. We document everything: meetings (both internal and external), projects we're working, feature ideas, marketing efforts...

Over time, I've seen two main benefits over such an approach. First, it leads to better decision-making. The act of writing forces clarity of thought. And by having a history, we can look back and refer to learnings from the past to help decision-making today.

The second benefit is productivity. It's counter-intuitive, but keeping notes increases productivity when you need a certain piece of information. You know it's going to be on Slite, and it's saved countless hours going through emails or LinkedIn message or wherever.

  ### 7. Slite as a DevOps

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 29, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Simplicity of use, the search tool is really powerfull.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Easily share with public people without great control as an admin

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easily shared and manageable knowledge base

  ### 8. Best Knowledge Base Tool Out There!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 08, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I love how simple it is to use Slite. It has a beautiful and minimal design, and it keeps all my documents nice and organized. I love that I can easily invite collaborators on documents and how easily everyone picks up how to use Slite so we can focus on the work that needs to get done.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I wish when I logged into Slite, instead of "Updates" it showed me my "Recents" aka the documents I last visited.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Slite internally to document all of our processes. We also use it for content writing and share the documents with contractors for collaboration. It's the knowledge hub for our business.

**Official Response from Anouk van Tuinen:**

> We're thrilled to hear that you enjoy using Slite and find it simple and organized. We appreciate your feedback about adding a 'Recents' feature and will definitely take it into consideration for future updates.

For now, if you open Search/Ask but don't enter a keyword or question, it shows you a list of your recently edited and visited docs. Maybe this helps :)

  ### 9. Slite for an Operations Manager at a SaaS company

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I thoroughly enjoy using Slite to organize all of our company's policies and documents for our employees. The app's user-friendly design makes the entire process super easy and significantly streamlines our workflow. The ability to efficiently manage and access important information has been a game-changer for our team. Slite has become an indispensable tool for us, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for an intuitive and effective solution for document organization.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

While Slite has proven to be an excellent tool for specific tasks like managing policies, onboarding documents, and storing processes, I've encountered challenges in promoting its daily use within my company, especially alongside our existing use of Google Drive. The everyday engagement with Slite doesn't match the intuitiveness and familiarity that Google Drive provides. Convincing my team to seamlessly integrate Slite into their daily workflow has been a bit of a hurdle. It's not as engaging for day-to-day tasks, and there seems to be a preference for the features and interface of Google Drive. While Slite excels in certain areas, finding a way to make it more seamlessly integrated into our daily operations remains a point of consideration for our team.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite has been a game-changer for our company by serving as a one-stop-shop for all our policies. The ease of accessibility and the ability to update documents seamlessly have greatly streamlined our policy management. Now, when I make updates, it's instantly reflected in the same document accessible to all our employees. This not only ensures consistency but also makes it incredibly easy for our team to find the latest information. Additionally, Slite has proven to be invaluable for our onboarding processes. The platform's organization and accessibility features have made onboarding smoother and more efficient. Overall, Slite has become an indispensable tool in centralizing and managing our company's documentation, significantly benefiting our workflow and ensuring everyone is on the same page.

  ### 10. Nice software with good costumer service

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Education Management | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 22, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I enjoy working with slite. We use it daily to work together on files and as a documentation tool. For me it is easy to understand to functions. Also the custumer service responds very quick and helps to solve problems. They are still implementing new functions which I really like.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Still some (for me) important functions are missing, e.g. the calender view of a collection. I know that some others are missing a „undo“ button.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We have a documentation tool, to work together in real-time.

  ### 11. Slite is a great tool

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is amazing tool that allows document sharing, note sharing and much more. we have used this to help us recall and remember processes. Slite makes it easy for companies and teams to easily share specific and important information. Slite is our one place and single source of truth for documented processes we have. Slite has a robust way of sharing and keeping stuff private to specific users and also breaking things down by department and sharing specific documents by departments, this is helpful because sales dont need stuff CS needs and vis a versa. we have had times where we have needed support from slite and i can say their Customer support is top notch and fast to help with issues.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Really the only thing i dislike about Slite is their search functionality more times than not it cant find the document I'm looking for by just using keywords.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite is a great tool for storing knowlege base processes, documents and even just notes. its help us know we have a single source of truth with slite.

  ### 12. Terribly effective

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Cédric B. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 12, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Getting started is very quick and Slite allows you to document all of the company's knowledge very easily. We have been using it for several years and it allows us to find the necessary information in just a few moments. With the AI overlay, Slite becomes a central tool that adds the layer of intelligence enabling very efficient human processing. I highly recommend it!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

There are still connectors missing for tools like Make.com, which would allow Slite's capabilities to be multiplied and many tasks to be automated.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite allows you to gather all information and documentation, at all levels (sales, management, documentation, etc.).

**Official Response from Adrien Taravant:**

> Thanks for your feedback Cédric! Just in case I thought I'd mention the connector we have with Zapier which is a tool alike Make.com. Let me know if that helps!

  ### 13. Collective knowledge base with AI kick

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Stephanie S. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The Ask AI feature is beyond helpful for a small but growing team. We've moved away from M365 and all of our documentation is now hyper connected, as such we can work better, quicker and leverage our collective knowledge for our clients' benefit.

The UX/UI is simple and smooth without being overly complicated. Loving the Google integration.

We are recommending to all of our clients.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Very long documents take significant processing power to display and utilise

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite has helped us to solve issues with siloed knowledge. It makes our data dynamically searchable and is easier to access and orientate between documents.

**Official Response from Anouk van Tuinen:**

> We're delighted that Slite has been instrumental in solving your team's siloed knowledge issues and making data more searchable and accessible. And thank you so much for recommending us to your clients (feel free to check out our refer-a-friend program btw: https://slite.slite.page/p/0nYMLWvv2XbKqQ/Refer-a-Friend-Program).

We'll definitely take your note on long document processing power into consideration for future improvements.

  ### 14. Easy adoption and rapidly evolving tool

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 01, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is easy to use so that everyone in the company can adopt it and onboard immediately on your documentation efforts.
The team work hard to meet the present and future needs of Knowledge managers/workers.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

As anyone can write anything in any kind of presentation, it needs a very strict management or the knowledge base soon become messy.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Easy way to write articles and collect the internal knowledge.
The new AI features are really helpful to help archiving/updating obsolete articles.

  ### 15. Slite's real-time collaborative editing has been a game-changer for us.

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 16, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite's real-time collaborative editing has been a game-changer for us. Whether we're brainstorming ideas, outlining project plans, or documenting important decisions, the ability to work together seamlessly in real-time fosters a sense of unity and productivity among our team members.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

challenges accessing and editing notes without an internet connection, which can be inconvenient for those who work in areas with poor connectivity.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

The use of Markdown in Slite is a brilliant choice. It allows us to format text effortlessly, ensuring our documents are not only well-organized but also visually appealing. This simplicity in formatting contributes to a smoother note-taking experience.

  ### 16. Slite is great for team documentation creation and collaborating!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Petar H. | Associate Photo Editor, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Real-time, seemless collaboration. You can create an excellent documentation structure and use lots of available styling options to make it look good!
Great support!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The notification options sometimes do not deliver to users' emails. I tried looking around for it but wasn't able to get it to work.
I talked about it with the support team and they are working on it!

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We do not have to have locally stored documentation and can use an online tool for it. It is great because we eliminate any error that could happen with local documents

  ### 17. Great improvements!

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Susan F. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** February 06, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I like the fleixbility that is offers and the overall enhancements that have been made as the tool grows.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It is pretty basic and lacks some of the features that Notion has, the imbed in limited and the structure of nesting can be clunky. It is also bogged down with performance when a doc gets too big

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

as a growing company we use Slite for knowledge base, our internal team like policies and procedures for employees as well as role specific tasks and projects

**Official Response from Anouk van Tuinen:**

> Thank you for your feedback! We're glad to hear that you appreciate our recent updates. We are continuously working on improving the features and performance of Slite to better meet your needs. On that note, is there anything in particular you'd like us to tackle next?

  ### 18. Slite - good tool for many but not for all.

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mikołaj M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Slite is a standout collaborative knowledge management platform, and what I admire most is its emphasis on seamless teamwork. Here's what makes it shine:

Real-Time Collaboration: Slite enables multiple users to work on a document together, fostering productive brainstorming and content creation sessions.

Commenting and Feedback: Its comment system facilitates interactive collaboration and feedback, eliminating the need for extensive email exchanges.

Version History: Slite's version history ensures document integrity, allowing users to track changes and revert to previous versions when needed.

Organization and Search: With folders, tags, and robust search capabilities, Slite keeps knowledge organized and easily accessible.

Integration: It seamlessly integrates with popular tools like Slack and Google Workspace, streamlining workflows.

Security: Slite prioritizes data security with end-to-end encryption, two-factor authentication, and compliance with industry standards.

In a nutshell, Slite's robust collaborative features, document organization, integration options, and security measures make it an invaluable tool for teams seeking efficiency and productivity.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

While Slite is undoubtedly an impressive collaborative knowledge management platform, there are a few areas where it may not meet everyone's expectations:

Learning Curve: For new users, especially those unfamiliar with similar tools (like Notion and others), Slite can have a bit of a learning curve. Navigating through its various features and settings might require some time and effort.

Limited Formatting Options: Slite's focus on simplicity can be a double-edged sword. While it excels in straightforward text-based collaboration, it lacks advanced formatting options and design customization, which might be limiting for users who need more creative control over their documents.

Pricing: The pricing structure of Slite may not be suitable for smaller teams or startups with tight budgets. Some users may find it relatively expensive compared to other note-taking or collaboration tools on the market.

Offline Access: Slite primarily operates in an online environment, which means users may face limitations when working offline or in areas with poor internet connectivity. Although there's a mobile app, it may not provide the same functionality as the web version without a stable connection.

Integration Ecosystem: While Slite offers integrations with popular tools, its ecosystem might not be as extensive as some of its competitors. Users relying heavily on niche or less common software may find limited integration options.

Customization Limitations: Slite provides a clean and uniform interface, but it may not allow for extensive user interface customization to suit individual preferences. For me, it is crucial because I always use my tools in my own way, and it is not easy to find such malleable tools.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite solves everyday problems in team collaboration:

Information Chaos: Slite keeps all your team's knowledge organized so you can quickly find what you need, saving time and reducing frustration.

Smooth Collaboration: It helps teams work together effortlessly with real-time co-editing and easy commenting, ensuring everyone's on the same page.

Revision Clarity: You can track changes easily with Slite's version history, making it simple to see document evolution.

App Integration: Slite plays nice with your favorite tools, so you can keep using them while benefiting from organized knowledge.

User-Friendly: Slite's user-friendly design makes it easy to get started, saving you the hassle of complex onboarding.

In essence, Slite simplifies team collaboration and knowledge management, making your work more efficient and hassle-free.

  ### 19. User Friendly, Secure Wiki with Project Management Features

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Rosie M. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Adding new content and expanding the hierarchy to accommodate levels of information is simple and quick. The ability to assign icons to each content item in the taxonomy adds visual interest to dry text and makes it easier to find critical documents.

Access permissions are nuanced such that different teams can manage their own channels, and specific staff can be assigned to just the documents relevant to their purview.

The recently added kanban boards functionality is great for managing documentation gaps to ensure that information is added in a timely fashion.

With 20 years in software development and support, I've worked with a number of wiki platforms. Slite is by far the easiest to enter information into and format it in a human readable way. This has led to widespread company utilization across departments, making it an invaluable business tool.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

While it is really easy to get information into Slite and use it within the platform, getting information out for sharing with external contractors in a development tracking system is more difficult than it needs to be.

Also, the "staleness" of documents is arbitrary. Policy documents updated within the last three months are current for a lean agile team.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed an online home for our internal company policy, procedures, and product management roadmaps that is accessible to staff but not to the world. Our CRM (HubSpot) offers "private" access for its knowledge base tool, but that access is unreliable.

Slite is working well as a centralized place for internal documentation across departments.

  ### 20. Makes it fast, easy and convenient to collaborate with colleagues

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Hospital & Health Care | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 23, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I love being able to organise my personal and team docs on the platform so that they're easy to access, collaborate on and refer back to at a moment's notice using the super helpful search function!

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I wish there was a calendar feature or template so that I could make visual plans for the week/month/quarter - mostly love it though!

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Primarily being able to write, collaborate on a refer back to team and company documents, alongside acting as a personal note-taking platform.

  ### 21. Slite: A Wiki Wonder

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Think Tanks | Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I love how Slite effortlessly blends simplicity with functionality. It's like the Swiss Army knife of wikis—easy to use for quick notes, yet robust enough for comprehensive team collaboration. The clean interface and intuitive design make organizing information a breeze. Plus, real-time collaboration ensures everyone stays on the same page (literally!).

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

While I'm generally a fan, I'd say the mobile app could use a bit of love. It gets the job done, but a few tweaks for a smoother experience on the go would be great. Also, a more extensive range of templates would be the icing on the Slite cake.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite is the problem solver for my information chaos. It's like a digital brain that keeps all my thoughts neatly organized and easily accessible. No more frantic searches through scattered documents or lost sticky notes. The real-time collaboration is a game-changer, ensuring everyone's on the same page and eliminating the chaos of conflicting versions. It's basically my productivity wingman, making work smoother and more streamlined.

  ### 22. Slite - the intranet you need.

**Rating:** 2.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Trent K. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

- Centralised place for documents
- intuitive search function
- great integrations
- easy to usw
- Great place to onboard new hires

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

- Lacks broader functionality like project management
-Doesn't have a centralised hub or landing page (or maybe I don't use this feature)

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Centralised place for company processes - able to easily onboard team members and provide them with all the information they need through slite.

  ### 23. Good solution for medium companies

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mohammed A. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** March 25, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Easy to navigate and easy to co-wok on..

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It could have "Spaces" where channels are in, like in Confluence - Atlassian

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Find out documentaion about solutions set-up, specially when people have left the company

  ### 24. Slite works great, but could be faster.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Alexander L. | Senior Cloud Engineer, Enterprise (> 1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It is easy to stay organized and keep track of everything. Imbedded iframes are a nice touch.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

This tool would be almost perfect if we could add custom css styling to a sub element. For example, if we had that feature, this tool could also be our style master guidebook for frontend design.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a centralized location to store company knowledge.

  ### 25. Definitely recommended!

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jerrell N. | Web developer, Information Technology and Services, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Its easy to use for non-technical people. It's a great tool for the whole team with live updating and provides a single source of truth in our software agency. Customer support is excellent and best of all, it's constantly being improved.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The templating in the sketch functionality doesn't save.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helps us avoid having lots of orphaned and out-of-date documents.

  ### 26. Slite is a useful tool to access any company information

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Isaac R. | Sports Writer, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 06, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I love Slites documentation management, project management, and collaboration tools, and the allowance to do real-time editing, which is vital for any company to have

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Sometimes Slite can get glitchy and have trouble updating or syncing, not a massive issue, but slight annoyance when you are trying to get every aspect of the company updated.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

My company has a database of 17000 clients and 13000 photographers, the ability to manage and organise them with slite is a massive benefit and really helps solve the admin problems of the business

  ### 27. Product made with love

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Daniel H. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Very intuitive software with frequent updates that delight the whole team! Everybody in the team adapted quickly and uses it actively.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

AI features could be a bit fine-tuned, but this is a new product!

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

As a remote team, communication is one of the largest challenges, Slite takes this away!

  ### 28. Very satisfied

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Bárbara L. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The simplicity by using the platform is amazing.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Maybe they can add some format funcionalities, but as it is, is very good for me.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our greatest callenge was encourage the team to document, we tried this with others platforms, but the team was distracted by so many functionalities. Now the team is focused on documenting internal proceses, technical info, etc.

  ### 29. Great tool, particularly for remote-based companies!

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Mads O. | People Lead, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The organisation and ux of folders and documents.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Not being able to undo a mistake, which I think has now been updated.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Helping us to communicte policies to our employees. And or our product teams, helping them to map out projects and bets they are working on.

**Official Response from Anouk van Tuinen:**

> Hi Mads - Yes, we have recently added a more robust and visual version history, and added an undo button to the doc menu (in addition to Ctrl+Z). Thanks for this valuable feedback and for helping us to improve our product!

  ### 30. Knowledge Management

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The recent product updates including knowledge management option, easy to use, customer support, easy to find content, the private channel option and product design.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I'd like to see an initial page on Slite, where we can customize as we wish and include the channels we want on the spothlight; Admins having all rights do moderate content without workarounds.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Knowledge base management: we can easily edit our knowledge base, the webinars with knowledge management specialist help with valuable insights, AI integration seems very promissing.

  ### 31. It's Good but It isnt perfect

**Rating:** 3.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Ezequiel C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It is easy to use and our team quickly adapted to using it. The implementation was quickly and fast.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It is very structured which does not allow us to create particular things or uses.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Document internal and project processes

  ### 32. We have an overall positive experience with Slite, and it meets our needs at this time.

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Online Media | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It's most helpful in sharing documentation with internal and external stakeholders. We like that we can draft documents in Slite, then put them into various channels with controlled visibility.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I am not the biggest fan of how things – for example, spreadsheets, powerpoint presentations, videos – appear in the Slite documents.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a flexible method of documenting internal processes that can be shared among internal and external stakeholders. Slite has been exactly that for us.

  ### 33. Must have for Async team and helpful if you are a verbal thinker

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Nitin P. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 12, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

The number of options you can do on the Slite document is phenomenal. The checklist, sketch, image, and video to adding a Figma file and whatnot. It's like a whiteboard where you can put anything on display.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Sharing capabilities. Sharing it with counterparts outside organisations is messy as you are unsure what might be open for access from the folder etc. Even internally, sometimes, it's not clear who has access.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Internal Knowledge Management is a huge uphill task in a remote-first organisation. Workstyle is asynchronous; to make it work, one must have everything documented.

  ### 34. Best Wiki for the current times

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Esteban M. | Devpops, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 10, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Easy to use, Slack-style interface, fast text search.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Lack if IA integration. SSO only availabe at top tier.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Documenting tech guides, API specifications, Business use cases. Generaring reference documetnation.

**Official Response from Anouk van Tuinen:**

> Hi Esteban - thanks for leaving your review :) In case you were missing some AI features, we have an AI assistant in our editor. Feel free to check it out and let us know what you think.

  ### 35. CEO

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Andreas W. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I like the design and simplicity the most.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Something like a "have-to-read" functionality is missing. This would be great. We have policies or announcements that everone or just a group of people have to read. I would like to have a functionality to see if everyone read it and the people get reminders to read it in a period of time.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

General knowledge base was missing.

  ### 36. Slite is one of the better tools that i've used for documentation when working in an organisation.

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Information Technology and Services | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 13, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It is very streamlined, the UI is easy to navigate, and the shortcuts make the process of writing up a new page very easy. the nesting system of the pages is very easy to navigate, and the site just looks great too.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

I would say that at times it is difficult to use the search function, there were many times i wanted to search for something using a traditional search and the AI search function would get in the way of that

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

keeping all of our information and documnetation in one centralised location that is very easy to access and navigate.

  ### 37. Easy to use for a non technical founder

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Logistics and Supply Chain | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** January 09, 2024

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Easy of use and continuously updating and adding relevant features.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Logs me out of the app frequently and my password doesn't save, this is on desktop.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We needed a place to store and create documentation.

  ### 38. A great place for docs in a sea of good ones

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** John T. | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Honestly, Slite is an amazing tool that offers a clear spot to have docs for pretty much anything- Pagers, Meeting notes, How-To's and more. It's a good place for most small to mid-size startups to leverage. Google Workspace compatibility is great as well.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

It's not the greatest when it comes to scalability. This, certainly is derived from user error, but when you get entrenched in a process or function- it can be hard to allow that to continue at times.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

KB's, Pagers of all kinds, Onboarding docs, Meeting notes, Get-to-know-your coworkers and more.

  ### 39. A great knowledge base for the entire team

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

It's one of the easiest ways to start a resource / knowledge base within our company. We have all of our guides, how-to, instructions in one place.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The editor isn't the best and they're often changing it around for users. It can be confusing to keep up with all these changes.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It's a better version of Notion for team collaboration.

  ### 40. Great tool for managing project documentation

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Consulting | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

-overall ease of use, text editing tools are intuitive
-new AI tools for proofreading and translations
-easy to manage document structure

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

- we haven't really find use for Ai based search as the traditional one is working great, but it is easy to believe that some will
- might have even slightly too agile development sometimes, things and e.g. terms shown in the UI seem to change quite often." If it ain't broken, don't fix it"

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We use Slite for website project documentation, sharing documentation there with our clients. Also used for internal notes and documentation

  ### 41. Probably best tool for building company wikipedia

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Jacek . | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 29, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

How complete it is. The tool is straightforward, easy to use, yet it has all the features and views necessary to create various notes directory

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Nothing rings a bell. I only like Slite.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

It allows different teams and departments to store in one place all their procedures, SOPs, notes and other written documents. Thanks to how Slite is designed, everybody can quickly access information need and make sure current notes directory is up to date.

  ### 42. Solid alternative to Notion, Confluence and others

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Tarek A. | IT Officer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 09, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

- Easy to use
- Easy to maintain
- Reactive Customer Support

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

- Could use more features (like AI)
- DNS errors can sometimes happen

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Slite is a big help when you want to centralize meeting notes, processes and documentation in the same place.

  ### 43. Maybe the best tool for documentation

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Karim C. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** November 27, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Plugin integration (latex for example), hints

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Small details : tag field where there is one tag only possible, it is very strange

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

url management is good comparing to our old tool.

  ### 44. Great platform

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Gavin J. | CEO, Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** September 05, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Creating and sharing development and process documents

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Maybe more control showing sub-document links. Bit I'm splitting hairs.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Allows us to share documents across teams without a lot of faff with formatting. Less is more.

  ### 45. using Slite

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Olga R. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** August 14, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Everything is located in one place. It has the potential to be usful if the catgories where easier to search through

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The organiziation of where to find information is not always easy to determine.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Having policies and important documents all located in one place

  ### 46. Modern, focused document and note management solution

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Dushyant P. | Software Engineer, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** April 22, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

A modern document management platform with focus on utility over excess. Unlike Notion, which aims to be a productivity platform, Slite focuses on a niche of document management, and improvises on that. Hierarchical views, accesses, spaces are easy to organize, search and sift.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Slite doesn't have an open API, meaning some integrability is missing. Its enterprise solution still has some drawbacks compared to the normal standard version. Free version has a document limit

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Our team used to use Slite to organize our knowledge base when we were a smaller department, and for maintaining MoMs. The modern UI of Slite appealed to use over the existing Confluence, meaning that writing, editing and managing was much easier. However, we had to later switch it to an enterprise ready solution when our department merged into a larger workforce

  ### 47. It's just OK, but they're evolving the product quickly.

**Rating:** 1.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Computer Software | Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

* They seem to be growing the product quickly
* Reliable, haven't experienced outages
* I was told it was affordable
* Sketch (Excalidraw) integration was a great feature

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

* Very limited formatting options, they're on the markdown minimalism thing
* Tables are nearly useless (no cell merge, no borders, no shading, etc)
* Finding recent pages is fiddly (need to go via search)
* The "ask your knowledge base" assistant is pointless (I'd usually search or go to recents, but the UX makes it harder to do so)

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

We had to put it somewhere, and our old took was worse...

**Official Response from Anouk van Tuinen:**

> Thanks so much for your honest feedback! We're sorry to hear that Slite has not exactly been meeting your expectations yet, but we appreciate you taking the time to share your experience.

You are correct that we took a more minimalist approach when it comes to markdown. This is to keep your knowledge base clean and distraction-free, but we understand that sometimes it could be nice to be able to add more customization. The other points you bring up are very valid and actually on our product team's list to tackle. As you mentioned we try to move fast, and in the coming weeks you can expect updates that will make it easier to find the content or docs you are looking for. We hope you'll try it out and let us know how it goes!

  ### 48. Everyday work tool for writing, collaborating on docs and keeping track of thoughts

**Rating:** 4.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Arne A. | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** June 28, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

Intuitive and powerful text editor with a bunch of nice features like drawing, tables, markdown.
Built-in search makes it easy to find what you need fast.
Keeps track of your team's activity without all the unnecessary fluff.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Side menu navigation is a bit hard as the amount of docs grows for you and your team.
Cannot have several docs open at one time (I usually switch between the same 3-4 docs throughout the day).

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Managing text-based docs across our team.
Keeping work-in-progress and personal to-do's in the same space.
Reducing the need for Slack threads and meetings.

  ### 49. People Experience Manager

**Rating:** 4.5/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Filippo L. | Customer Success Manager, Mid-Market (51-1000 emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** July 18, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

One centralised place for all knowledge! For company Wiki, this is the best.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

The design and some project management features still need to development to properly satisfy my use case.

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Creating a more organised and transparent company's Wiki that is more user friendly and adoptated by our team.

  ### 50. 3 words : useful, collaborative and intuitive

**Rating:** 5.0/5.0 stars

**Reviewed by:** Verified User in Financial Services | Small-Business (50 or fewer emp.)

**Reviewed Date:** October 30, 2023

**What do you like best about Slite?**

I like Slite beacause it's simple to use and a collaborative plateform. The team is always available when in need of an answer.

**What do you dislike about Slite?**

Nothing special, i would use some colors

**What problems is Slite solving and how is that benefiting you?**

I centralise my notes in it. It allows me to find every piece of information.
We use it also in the agency as our "wiki".
We write a lote of content in order to form ourselves about many subjects.
