Based on G2 reviewer demographics and sentiment, Slack Connector for Jira's pricing is best suited for mid-market and enterprise engineering and IT teams already invested in both Jira and Slack at scale. G2 reviewers from computer software, information technology, financial services, and health care industries report the highest satisfaction, particularly where sprint management, incident response, and cross-functional visibility justify the cost. Small business reviewers on G2 acknowledge utility but flag that Slack Connector for Jira's pricing is harder to justify when only basic notification features are needed. Teams running high-volume, fast-moving Jira projects extract the clearest return from Slack Connector for Jira's enterprise-oriented custom pricing model.
G2's pricing data for Slack Connector for Jira shows no published tiers, with custom quotes available for enterprise needs. One G2 reviewer explicitly notes that the basic connector is free while more advanced automation features require higher-tier Jira plans, meaning the true cost scales with Jira plan level rather than a standalone Slack Connector for Jira subscription. G2 reviewers in the small business segment flag that Slack Connector for Jira's pricing feels steep relative to the feature set needed for simple notification use cases, suggesting a meaningful gap between entry-level access and full-featured enterprise configurations that unlock deeper workflow automation and filtering capabilities.
G2 reviewers of Slack Connector for Jira broadly rate it 4.5 out of 5, signaling strong perceived value. Recurring praise centers on time saved from reduced context switching, real-time Jira notifications in Slack, and the ability to create or update tickets without leaving Slack. G2 users across mid-market and enterprise segments consistently cite productivity gains and improved team alignment as concrete returns. However, multiple G2 reviewers flag that Slack Connector for Jira's pricing can be difficult to justify for smaller teams needing only basic integration, and that advanced automation features require higher-tier Jira plans, adding indirect cost. Overall, value is strong for active development teams but marginal for low-volume users.

What I like best is that it connects Jira and Slack in a very practical way. The integration works smoothly, the UI is simple, and performance has been reliable so far. It gives good value because it reduces context switching and helps the team react faster to ticket updates. The setup and support were clear enough. I do not use many AI features, but the smart notifications already help filter the right information into Slack. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes the notifications can become a bit noisy if too many Jira events are connected to one Slack channel. It takes some tweaking to get the right balance between useful updates and too many messages. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
