"A must have tool for any content heavy website!"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Very userfriendly and effective. Great for marketing/comms teams at all levels and very easy to connect to your CMS for a seamless experience. The support team are very quick to answer any questions submitted and will go out of their way to configure your account to suit your business where possible.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

Need to pay for additional features to get the full integrated benefits, rather than plugging in your own tools.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Helped us identify expired content showing up in our xml sitemaps; improve the user experience through QA and Accessibility; Identify and flag misuse of language/terminology and control our branding

"Siteimprove is a big help in maintaining a trouble-free website!"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Siteimprove is simple to use with a fun scoring system that illustrates your improvements. Siteimprove makes it easy to identify and fix issues, and provides guidance on how to solve problems. I like that issues are broke out into A, AA, and AAA levels. The Quality Assurance section catches issues that would be easy to miss. Plus, the interface and layout is all very intuitive.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

There's nothing to dislike. Once you've used it for some time, everything makes sense.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Accessibility issues are the main focus. Plus broken links, misspellings and user experience. Siteimprove can identify problems that would take me much longer to notice.

"Hands Down, My Favorite Tool"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

What don't I love about Siteimprove? My colleagues joke I should be on staff but it has seriously improved the quality and usability of our site, as well as our SEO and ability to address accessibility issues. The interface is intuitive and there are a number of tools to help you prioritize which work should be done first and/or would have the largest impact. There are also an unlimited number of seats so it's easy to assign work to teams.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

The only thing I'd like to improve is being able to add a first found on the possible misspellings. Otherwise, it's just about perfect for our needs!

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

The biggest issue for us was site quality - addressing 404 errors and misspellings - because our site has more than 200 editors. We're also enjoying the ability to set policy and it has made addressing SEO and accessibility concerns easier - it's not just our word on the way the site should work, we have Siteimprove to back us up when users ask why we are doing or changing something.

Siteimprove provides a vast amount of information about the health of your website. My team uses it daily to know where we are with usability, SEO and accessibility. It provides great reporting tools and ways to make your job more efficient. "SiteImprove is a trainer, a motivator, and a problem solver!"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

The most helpful aspect of using SiteImprove is the easy to follow directions on how to fix problems that are on your level. SiteImprove breaks down site issues by who can fixe them and I, as a content editor, don't always know the best way to fix the problems that arise. SiteImprove provides directions to fix the issues and then you can see your score go up! It is very satisfying and our site has improved so much. Site Improve has made web accessibility a university-wide responsibility and something that every office cares about.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

I think the toughest thing about using SiteImprove would be how long the site goes between website crawls and having to wait to see what the changes you made did to your score. The other issue is that sometimes pages have a slower load time and they come up as broken links or pages but it is really just a slow load time. This is still something we would want to fix but it is a different issue.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

If you want more people to be involved in creating an accessible environment online for your customers, SiteImprove is the best way for others to get involved in the mission and feel like change is doable for the entire office. You do not have to be a web developer or familiar with code to make meaningful improvements to your website.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have solved many many accessibility, readability, and usability issues using SiteImprove. Overall out site has been completely changed for the better using SiteImprove. We discovered that our site have several barriers for students finding and gaining access to the information they truly needed.

"A Must-have in Your Digital Marketing Toolbox"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Nearly everything about this system is best-of-breed and simply awesome! I can't imagine running our enterprise-wide website and digital marketing efforts without Siteimprove by our side all the way. It simply rocks and so do the people behind it. From one product, that is directly tied to my CMS, I can take care of all site maintenance. Not only that, I can monitor analytics, improve SEO, look for untapped opportunities, monitor campaign conversions, and so much more. What's even better is they have an awesome team behind the scenes that is very accessible - whether it is a support issue to providing input on feature enhancements, they listen and respond!

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

The only thing I slightly dislike is that as new features are added sometimes they cost extra as opposed to included in your annual fee. If it is a feature that is related to an existing module that is usually complimentary. However, as the platform continues to be built out, new modules often cost additional. I understand, but it is difficult to justify sometimes in a non-profit higher education environment where budgets are set way in advance.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

If I were charged with the management of any enterprise-wide website, I would purchase Siteimprove to stand alongside my CMS in a heartbeat! It is easily worth every penny and saves your staff time/money which in turn ultimately shows up in the form of better results for your company's bottom line.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

Siteimprove helps us tremendously with SEO, campaign measurement, traditional web analytics, and user behavior mapping just to name a few. Feature-packed to help us solve problems daily and improve our customer experience!

"The best content & site monitoring tool for SEO"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Siteimprove allows you to setup your own policies, allowing their content quality monitoring, to include what you really care about as well.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

I really wish pricing was more transparent (having a pricing guide on the website) as well as having some more features/services laid out for those that are looking for it. I just simply having an account allowed you to see all the features, regardless of having access or not. I also wish that all levels of accounts had SERP tracking, even if for a small amount of keywords.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

Siteimprove gives you masurable actions to improve the website's content quality, accessibility, and SEO. It doesn't just give you the scores and tell you how great you are doing. The tool actually sorts out different actions to fix and improve your website. It's like having a non-stop SEO audit on your site every week.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are using Siteimprove to monitor our website and ensure that updates we make don't effect the quality of the site. We are also using it as an auditing platform to keep track of and prioritize tasks that will improve the quality of our site. The problem we are solving is having something in place that can quantify and measure the efforts in incrimental and minor updates. We realized going through this process, that while making updates and strides is great, there is a point where simply sustaining your quality level is acceptable.

"Site Improve Overview"

What do you like best about Siteimprove?

Siteimprove is great for accessibility and most SMB/medium SEO applications. Overall it could be a robust SEO tool if their page performance module had better integration with SEO issue reporting dashboard and widgets. Having their own site crawler instead relying on SEMRUSH would be a game changer for them and set them up well as a solid technical SEO tool for enterprise. For now Ahrefs appears to be well rounded tool for all aspects of SEO.

What do you dislike about Siteimprove?

Limited SEO scope, functionality and reliability that appears to be built around their accessibility module instead of being independent.

Recommendations to others considering Siteimprove:

Site improve is great for accessibility and SEO campaign/reporting for small/medium sites. It also has a great page performance tool for validating GSC Web Core Vital issues which is excellent. Siteimprove could be a solid SEO tool if it had its own crawler, improved engineering and overall integration as it pertains to SEO.

What problems is Siteimprove solving and how is that benefiting you?

For now, we use it for accessibility issues link broken links, misspellings and other issues related to site publishing. Would love to consider it as a primary SEO tool if the integration, functionality and reliability was stabilized. The page performance is great for realizing page speed and Google Web Core vital issues. I can see it being useful for smaller/medium sites but not quite ready for enterprise.
