What do you like best about SimScale?

I like the post process analysis tools, to help visualize velocity and pressure profiles. Animations are also awesome Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

I didn't like how long it took for mesh's to generate and simulations to run Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SimScale?

The most valuable for me is a technical support that gives you a solid explanation in case you need a help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

A smaller number of modules compared to competitors, I believe it is a question of time Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Fast simulation tool for product development"
4/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

Simscale is an easy tool for simulation in product development. I often use it for CFD and FEM simulation in business.

The support of the team is extraordanary. Fast, competent and always available when needed.

Models for the simulation can be easy exported out of the CAD tool we are using. Modifications of the model can be done in Simscale directly and the modified model can be downloaded as well. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

I like the product. Nothing to complain about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy and accessible CFD tool"
5/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

As someone who is new to CFD simulations I found simsccale easy to learn. The workflow is straightforward and prevents user errors. Simulations run fast depending on the geometry and settings. The post process results have many filters and tools for detailed anaysis. using this tool has helped build a lot of my confidence as an engineer in thermofluid part design. If i have any questions the support team quickly reposnds and provides a video going over their suggestions which is super helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

Some of the drawbacks are when simulating complex geometry specifically parts designed in nTopology. Sometimes there can be isssues meshing or the UI can be a slow to shopw results. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best in class CFD Technical Support"
5/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

The fact that I can load up several simulation variations and run them in parallel...all from my laptop while traveling is AMAZING for my productivity. I'll never go back to a big expensive personal computer that I'm chained down to.

While cloud is great, people matter even more. My contact from the Simscale support team has been my mentor and coach through onboarding with the platform, and helping troubleshoot some tricky geometry. I value the best practices he shares and that the in-bullt chat feature brings me right to him. Had I known the support was so good it would have been easier for me to justify the purchase internally more quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

There have been times when I've desired a cylindrical coordinate system, or radial symmetry. However I'm still able to run and learn everything needed from my models without such symmetry. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Excellent simulation program"
5/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

Simscale offers an educational and simple interface that allows for the successful execution of simulations. What has been most useful to me are the fluid dynamics analysis simulations, in which you can see the behavior of fluid velocity, drag forces, temperature profiles, and more. Really, highly recommended. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

The interface for designing parts is not very good. However, you can import Solidworks files, which has never given me any problems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Streamlined, amazing, and great support team."
5/5
What do you like best about SimScale?

The excellent models that it offers, as well as the cloud-based computing features -- FEA and CFD of high fidelity is now accessible, without having to purchase expensive hardware and licenses to run it yourself. The ability to access the post-processed data is amazing as well. I would love to have a feature where we can set planar boundary conditions inside a flow domain, though! What do you dislike about SimScale?

Nothing at all, really. The supoprt team is great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Great suppport for our users.

Open for discussion reagarding features and integration. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

Right now there is nothing I dislike. A year ago it would have been easier to give a feedback: there was no online user administration. Today we have it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
