"Easy to learn, Simple to master"
What do you like best about SimScale?

Intuitive user interface, easy to learn. Once you've learnt your process it's so easy! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

Id like more tools to use on CFD studies. Especially more powerful post processing, like Paraview. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Simscale - An excellent design companion"
What do you like best about SimScale?

Server based processing is excellent for freeing up my pc's processing power, allowing me to complete design tasks in parallel with simulation work.

Speed of receiving results allows me to iterate designs quickly.

Customer support is always fast and very helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

Meshing controls can be slightly generic at times - slider control is quite vague when setting mesh size.

CAD editing features have improved in recent times but still can be a little clunky when editing models. It would be nice to be able to section the models when defining constraints also. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"SimScale allowed me to quickly and efficiently complete simulations in the cloud."
What do you like best about SimScale?

I particularly appreciate SimScale's ability to dramatically reduce simulation turnaround times. Its automated meshing capabilities streamline the setup process, while the intuitive interface makes it easy to quickly define and run simulations. Additionally, the availability of easy-to-access technical support ensures timely assistance and problem resolution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

I struggled with complex geometries in SimScale, leading to longer meshing times and uncertainties regarding completion. Additionally, the absence of real-time convergence graph visualization during simulations limits the ability to monitor progress and make informed adjustments. "Efficient and great for collaboration"
What do you like best about SimScale?

I think that SimScale's primary strength is the fact that we're able to run CFD simulations entirely in the cloud! This means that it's very easy to work on projects with other people as we can share our work very easily and it takes the computing stress of CFD off of our hardware. Additionally, customer support has been very responsive when we ask for help. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

Overall, I wish the CAD feature in SimScale was a little more user-friendly. Right now, it's a little difficult to work with so we usually have to be pretty careful about having our models CFD-ready in our own CAD software before putting them into SimScale. "Easy to use and very fast CFD-simulation tool"
What do you like best about SimScale?

Simscale excels on several levels. First, it has a very intuitive user interface that guides you through the parameter setup in a structured way. On the other hand, the CFD simulations run very robustly and extremely fast. In case of problems, the support is fast and solution-oriented. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

Currently, major changes to the geometry are still very time-consuming, which is partly due to the control system in the CAD area, which takes some getting used to. In addition, special outputs can only be obtained awkwardly. Here, however, one can count on the help of the support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Positive quick integration for online simulator without the need for engineering specific computer"
What do you like best about SimScale?

Best feature is for sure the fact you can leave sims running while doing something else, be it on the computer or real life, while not taking up computational power from the PC. Also obviously being able to turn off the PC and the sims running overnight. Whenever I reached out to support the interactions were fluid, quick and quite helpful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

The geometry UI is not the best, and even with tutorials there are a few things, especially about importing meshes, parts and files that is not intuititive. Also the fact that once you save an edited imported file, if you want to do some new changes to it you need to create a copy - it would be easier to continue editing and being able to save the same file. "Most Innovative Product Design Tool"
What do you like best about SimScale?

SimSclae is fast and the most userfriendly simulation software, the GUI is really simple and easy to be self-implemmented even , while it took a week to get the same result with a concurrent tool. They absolutely have the best customer support, completely dedicated, super-fast and efficient among all simulation softwares. It is very well integrated with most part of CAD file formats. Post processing is really great for industrial/large simulation cases, giving the possibility to make design decisions anywhere, anytime with no special hardware requirements. I have been using SimScale in my product development routine (weekly) and it has been a game changer in design decisions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

Meshing models can be improved for FEA applications (mainly hex-dominant). And for now it is not possible to amplify the usage for other applications (explicit dynamics, fatigue analysis, and DEM), but for sure it is already in the roadmap of development. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy simulation package to pickup with great tutorials and support"
What do you like best about SimScale?

Really useful graphical explaination of boundary conditions. Cloud based compute is a game changer for being able to run large sims without locking down your computer for hours. Integration with Onshape is really helpful as well. Support from the SimScale team has been fantastic making the transition much smoother. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

Inbuilt modelling isn't great meaning that significant geometry changes require re-import from CAD package which is time consuming and needs re-setup time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect tool for school"
What do you like best about SimScale?

The simulations we generate with Simscale are very useful to understand my courses at school, we use Simscale a lot to verify our work. The site is easy to implement since you don't have to dowload an app on your computer, and the website offers tutorials on how to use the different features. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

It is not the easiest to use at first. Luckily I got it right during classes with the help of the teacher. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Powerful and convenient to use"
What do you like best about SimScale?

The computational power happening in the cloud doesn't slow my computer down, and also allows me to perform multiple simulations simultaneously. The software is fairly intuitive and overall i would say is very easy to use. Customer support is extremely helpful and quick to respond. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SimScale?

Connection features in static simulation are a bit limited. Also it doesn't give reaction forces at your points of connection or constraints. Geometry recognition could work a bit better but overall i would say is still good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
