Terrible. This convoluted mess is a waste of time and money. It overcomplicates the entire IEP process. There are SPED teachers that say they'll quit if they ever have to use this garbage again! **What do you dislike about SEAS Achieve?** Everything. Clicking on ten million buttons before it'll let you "lock" the IEP. Locking serves 0 purpose at all. You have to wait 2 minutes of loading screen before you can print. You have to click on 100 different things and go from one screen to another to do goals and accomodations. Things that could all be done on one page are not (like goals and accomodations). You have to type things you wouldn't normally or it won't let you lock it. You can't type the annual until the initial, or last IEP is locked. It won't let you lock it until you've put all the dates and names in etc etc. If you have a student that tests in at the very end of the year in May... You just have to make some stuff up and type in. It won't let you put the same date for given and decision made/proposed on the PWN. Even though that happens all the time. This system is made by people that obviously do not work on the profession. The system adds 100 steps to what should be an easy process.Their customer service is garbage. They're rude. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY. **What problems is SEAS Achieve solving and how is that benefiting you?** SEAS SOLVES NO PROBLEMS! IT IS AWFUL. It is a detriment, not a benefit. ### 2. The chat feature has been a big help. By using chat and speaking to a customer service representive when you have an issue makes things go so smoothly. Getting your issue resolved or knowing what is going on makes things a little better. I use SEAS daily during the school year. When a student transfers from another school and their information is in SEAS, it is easily intergrated to our school and implementing their current paperwork sooner. **What do you dislike about SEAS Achieve?** What I dislike most is the dates do not transfer throughout the packet. Also, you should not be able to go to the next page until all the information for the current page is filled in and correct. SEAS only lets you paste with the control V and this makes it difficult when using certain documents that you are trying to copy and paste from. The formatting gets messed up. **What problems is SEAS Achieve solving and how is that benefiting you?** I use SEAS for my Special Education IEP's. ### 3. Sometimes it’s a pain to navigate through. I think it has a lot of potential, but no one has the time to figure out all of its ends and outs. **What problems is SEAS Achieve solving and how is that benefiting you?** It houses IEPS for the entire district. Once access is given, anyone on the team can add to the same IEP. ### 6. I like the usability of the interface, but particularly, I like being able to lock your work so that no one may make changes or alter previously uploaded documents. **What do you dislike about SEAS Achieve?** At times, SEAS struggles to save content. I completed an entire and very involved packet for a student. Because my work did not save, I had to go back in and type up as much as I could remember, which is far from ideal. **Recommendations to others considering SEAS Achieve:** There are so many possible packets to assign to students, so be sure your district level representative has viewed your work. Even as a school counselor, I am not able to independently work through SEAS without communication with my team members. Either someone from SEAS or from your district will give you sufficient permissions to complete your job function. **What problems is SEAS Achieve solving and how is that benefiting you?** SEAS is the only online platform that I can access as a school counselor and share with district level personnel. There are other tools to access student data, but SEAS allows administrators to access important packets such as 504 Plans, Gifted, ESE, and Behavior plans. During monthly district meetings, multiple users will have access and are able to interact and make changes simultaneously like a live document. It is very helpful to upload paperwork with handwritten signatures and email your team to say you have received possibly time sensitive documents and uploaded to SEAS. ### 7. Everyone that has access to that student can see what has been done and what is going on at that time. **What do you dislike about SEAS Achieve?** The storage of past conferences gets long and then finding a past conference becomes confusing. **Recommendations to others considering SEAS Achieve:** A great software for Special Education documentation. If you have any issues, customer service is very willing to help and fix and issues. **What do you dislike about SEAS Achieve?** I feel like it would be helpful for dates to auto populate. I also don’t like that the has been times where information has gone missing. I have saved it and when I return back to the page the info is gone. My school district is actually moving away from this program and trying to do everything through Infinite Campus. **What problems is SEAS Achieve solving and how is that benefiting you?** We have made collaboration amongst teachers easier and more accessible. ### 11. It is user friendly. . But it can be expensive to maintain with time. **What do you dislike about SEAS Achieve?** I dislike that it is not necessarily interactive. It is also expensive to update/change/add/delete forms. It will also time out and users can easily become frustrated by losing documents they’ve spent hours crafting. **Recommendations to others considering SEAS Achieve:** It was great. We purchased another program that is supposed to be more via cost effective . **What problems is SEAS Achieve solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is a great paperwork management system.
