Scytale has dramatically streamlined our compliance work, especially the evidence collection that audits require. The platform comes with a wide range of relevant integrations, which automated away a lot of the boilerplate and manual effort we'd otherwise be stuck doing ourselves. When we ran into issues with specific integrations, their support was highly responsive and available.

One thing that made a real difference was how much they helped us separate the essential from the noise — knowing what actually mattered for the audit versus what we could safely set aside saved us a huge amount of time and second-guessing.

The biggest standout, though, was the hands-on implementation support. We had a dedicated specialist guiding us through the entire process, and honestly we wouldn't have reached the finish line without the direction and verification they provided in our weekly check-ins. The Scytale commercial, consulting, and support teams are very nice to work with. They’re easy to reach and consistently available, flexible, supportive, resourceful, knowledgeable, and friendly. The platform is feature-rich and provides great guidance for working through the certification steps and cycles. Since this was our first time, it felt daunting at the beginning. It integrates well with most common technology providers, although integrating with, for example, a regional cloud provider was complex and time-consuming unless you have solid technical knowledge. Luckily the support rep was very helpful both in chat as well as in an online session to help us out. The platform responds quickly and performs well. Sometimes it takes a bit of time to refresh following taken actions; so it's near time not real time. Although refresh doesn't take more than a day normally. UI could be made a little more intuitive; being new to it it took some time to understand the various routes one could follow to get to the same source materials. It's very helpful to get the intelligence from the platform through the provided templates that can easily be complemented, changed or removed in case it's not applicable. Pricing has been favourable compared to other providers with similar services and is by far better then picking a local traditional firm in this space. Their application makes the path to compliance much easier and significantly faster to reach compliance readiness. It generates actionable tasks with AI based recommendations and guidance, and it integrates with multiple systems to automatically extract evidence. Their team also keeps a strong focus on getting the required items completed, and it’s motivating to watch the completion percentage rise on the dashboard—almost like a bit of gamification. I was able to access the Scytale system reliably at any time to complete some tasks quickly to progress the overall readiness. It’s definitely worth the price.

We recently used Scytale to prepare for our ISO 27001:2022 renewal audit certification, and the experience was really good.

The platform itself is excellent. It made it incredibly easy to monitor our compliance posture and pinpoint exactly which missing pieces of information or documentation we needed to address before the audit.

What truly sets Scytale apart, however, is their customer success and advisory team. The support was consistently reactive and fast, but the standout highlight of our experience was working with our consultant, Edden Kaplan. Edden was fantastic she was highly proactive with her follow ups and provided crystal clear guidance on the exact actions required to improve our security processes.

Evidence collation is seamless, everything is structured, nothing falls through the cracks, and you come away confident that your ISO 27001 coverage is comprehensive rather than just hopeful. I used Scytale to handle our SOC 2 from prep work through the actual audit, and it turned a daunting process into something manageable. The biggest relief was how Scytale laid out exactly what controls we needed and what evidence to collect, which helped us get audit-ready in about a month and pass cleanly. Eden, our point of contact, was incredible, always responsive, prepared, and she knew when to push us or handle things herself. Was very mindful of my time.
