**What do you like best about Scytale?**

We started working with Scytale this year. With the automatic evidince collection from certain applications out-of-the-box and the posibillity to create your own integrations and the help of Liya, our GRC Consultant, it did really made our recertification a lot more easier than before.

**What do you dislike about Scytale?**

One of the downsides for me, a bit outside of the work of scytale, would be the cycle with the auditor that it sometimes can take a little bit of time before we get feedback or that it's being revaluated.

**What problems is Scytale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Getting a better overview between the many documents, policies, controls, etc. Gathering evidence quickly and being able to track the status.

**What do you like best about Scytale?**

The platform dashboard is very intuitive and provides easy access to the tasks we perform on a daily basis. 

It handles every aspect of our workload, which is exactly what we need at this stage.

The integration functions are enabled and working perfectly.

I’d also like to take this opportunity to give a special shout-out to our consultant, Romy Spencer, who has been incredibly supportive since day one and has provided us with the guidance needed to complete our tasks successfully.

Romy is always there for us, answering any questions and helping us navigate more complex queries whenever they arise.

**What do you dislike about Scytale?**

So far, there isn’t anything in particular that I dislike. If I could suggest one improvement, it would be to provide more detailed information about the platform’s AI features, since that would help users understand them better and make fuller use of the platform’s capabilities.

**What problems is Scytale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Completing our process-related tasks is now faster and more efficient. We’ve cut down the time we spend on internal reviews, collecting documentation, and bringing everything together in one place.

**What do you like best about Scytale?**

We had a positive experience working with Scytale to achieve our ISO certification. Their team (and especially our contact person CJ) provided clear guidance and support, making the certification process much smoother for us. The platform itself is intuitive, provides a clear overview of policies, controls, user reviews, risks and training. Basically, making  it easy for us to stay organized and follow best practices going forward. I would recommend using Scytale if you are looking to get certified.

**What do you dislike about Scytale?**

Platform is evolving so we were facing some issues along the way (which were resolved swiftly though). One thing to note is that the effort required from our side was greater than anticipated, especially around implementing certain internal processes. With more upfront clarity on this, we could have prepared better. For future users, I’d recommend asking early about potential gaps between your current setup and the scalable processes required for certification. But overall, the combination of their expertise and platform made a big difference in getting us across the finish line.

Guided us through the process and helped us achieve ISO certification, but also ensuring that we stay compliant.

**What do you like best about Scytale?**

I really appreciate how Scytale helps us with compliance, especially in achieving ISO27001. Having their team on board, who know what they're doing, helped us reach our goals much faster. The platform is smooth and automatically collects our evidence, clearly shows us where our gaps are, and explains what we need to do to fix them. I also love the simple interface—no need to manually check all controls, as it shows exactly what evidence is needed for each one. The integrations with GitHub, Jira, Azure Services, and Google Workspace are a huge plus, allowing for automatic evidence collection with no extra effort from us. Additionally, the initial setup was extremely easy: log in through the email, and it just works. I could invite the rest of my team right away, assign tasks, and start working immediately. I’m beyond pleased, so much so that I would rate it a 20 out of 10 if I could.

**What do you dislike about Scytale?**

There was one control that had the incorrect remediation instructions, but this is a minor inconvenience and I'm sure will be quickly corrected.

Scytale streamlines our ISO27001 compliance by providing a simple interface to gather evidence automatically, identify gaps, and integrate with services like GitHub and Azure. This expertise helped us achieve faster results and reduced manual work.

We are currently working with Scytale been assisting our organization with our SOC2 and HIPAA. The platform and our consultant have greatly streamlined and simplified the process for our organization.  Our consultant Caitlin Brown has helped us navigate the process and tailor the standards to our operations.

The platform was well designed and is very intuitive for use.  

The support team has been extremely responsive and the integrations have been extremely helpful. 

Our organization has been extremely pleased with our experience to date!

Scytale made our SOC 2 and ISO 27001 certifications remarkably smooth and professional. They handled the heavy lifting and kept disruption to our business at an absolute minimum. Special thanks to Dor Rosenberg, who guided us through the entire process for both certifications, always responsive, knowledgeable, and proactive. The platform and the team turned what could have been a stressful compliance effort into a clear, well-organized journey.

**What do you dislike about Scytale?**

Honestly very little to complain about. Early on there was a lot of material to take in, so a bit of a learning curve getting familiar with the platform, but Dor and the team made that easy. A few more self-serve guides could help, but nothing that affected the outcome.

**What problems is Scytale solving and how is that benefiting you?**

Scytale is helping us achieve and maintain SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance without pulling our team away from core business work. It centralizes evidence collection, controls, and audit readiness in one place, so we always know where we stand. The biggest benefit is speed and clarity: we reached both certifications faster and with far less internal overhead than expected, while staying confident that nothing was missed.

Loved the combination of a great compliance software that made it so clear what needed to be done to be certified, combined with amazing support from the Scytale team. I was very impressed. 

The software is very easy to use. It can be integrated to your solutions so that it collects data automatically. 

Also price is very reasonable – one of the best on the market.

There wasn't actually anything I disliked about Scytale, I only wished they'd also had framework for QMS (ISO 13485) and MDR – because I would definitely use them for that as well.

I really value how Scytale guides and assists my company with SOC2 and ISO reviews, especially when some requirements are unclear, and we need guidance on which evidence to supply. The professionalism and competence of our GRC manager at Scytale, who is also very customer-oriented, make a big difference. I also appreciate how Scytale helps us communicate with the reviewers on various subjects like report timelines, payments, questions, and evidence. Every question gets an answer, which makes the whole process smoother. The platform is pretty intuitive, and even if I don't understand something, I just ask our GRC for assistance. Finally, Scytale helps us a lot with these exhaustive and complex processes.

Be a little bit more responsive. But usually they respond on the same day.

I also have to give a huge shoutout to Romy Spencer, who was absolutely fantastic. She was always ready to jump in and help whenever needed, simplifying our workload massively. Having that level of dedicated support made all the difference

I don't have any real dislikes to report. The software does exactly what it promises to do, the UI is clean, and the customer support is top-notch. My experience has been positive.

Scytale was the only provider with a native integration to Hetzner, which made collecting evidence from our primary cloud provider much less onerous than a manual process. They were very attentive during onboarding and provided recommendations to 3rd party services that would be essential to a successful SOC2 audit pass.

This review is written during the engagement, so the only issue I have run into at this stage is about setting up the Github integration, which has a pending support ticket to rectify.

I use Scytale for SOC2 accreditation, and it really guides me through the audit process with a well-built interface to prepare everything that's needed. I appreciate its ease of use and find the UX very intuitive. I also like the people there, the pricing, and how easy the initial setup was. The template-based nature of the software, allowing for a plug-and-play experience, was a big plus. In my case, everything works well.

The entire experience was seamless, easy and quick to get through. Jess made every meeting, every review a walk in the park - it was an absolute delight to work with her and her team. The platform is sleek, intuitive and easy to use! It full integrated with our internal tools and implementation was so quick I don't even remember it!

I can honestly say there is nothing negative that I can say about the team, the platform or the experience.

Scytale point of contact: Dor, our POC for the entire process was great. Available, reliable, helpful through out the entire process, felt part of our team and helped us succeed. 
Platform: while it has some bugs / issues, having an "all in one" platform, with updating statuses and automatic data collection from integrations was convenient.

Platform has some bugs and issues: 
- Downtime 
- Same comments linked to all controls in the criteria 
- AI evidence validation feature not working as expected yet

The UI is a little clunky, and things aren't always obviously placed - but thats a small complaint as you learn these things when onboarding.

Caitlyn Brown, my GRC consultant, provides superb service and is doing tremendous work. I like their attention to detail and how hands-off the experience is. The initial setup was extremely easy, thanks to Caitlyn's support, and whenever I had a struggle, she helped me tremendously.

Response times are slow, often taking around two days, and if inquiries require escalation to another team such as the automation team, the delay becomes even longer. Responses can sometimes be unhelpful, further hampering our progress in audit readiness.

What I appreciate the most is that it genuinely takes the pressure out of SOC/ISO prep (easy and fast implementation!). The automated evidence collection from our AWS environment has been particularly helpful, it has removed a lot of manual chasing. But honestly, the biggest value for us has been working with Celeste. She’s incredibly knowledgeable and keeps everything moving in a really practical, grounded way. We’ve had a few complex or unusual asks along the way, and she’s been able to guide us through all of it without making things feel heavy or bureaucratic. The whole approach has felt flexible and aligned with how we actually work, rather than forcing us into a rigid template.

**What do you dislike about Scytale?**

There isn’t much to “dislike”, but if I had to point at something, the integrations setup flow could be a bit smoother and quicker. It all works, it just takes a bit of guidance the first time around (however docs are clear, I just was overthinking it). Also, I know Scytale are planning to refresh the Control Center module, as  it could use a bit of refinement - but it’s still been perfectly usable for us!

Scytale is helping us stay organized and prepared throughout our SOC/ISO work without having to build a huge internal compliance function. As a devops engineer and as a former IT manger, I was responsible for certifying several companies to SOC2. The hours I spent on data collection, then processing it and filing it correctly, were the most excruciating thing in this process.
I was lucky to start working in a company that was wise enough to use a service provider like Scytale, that helps make this process much easier.
Scytale offers a platform that integrates with the most important systems for the certification (HR tools, AWS, Bitbucket, etc). With Scytale, you are also assigned with a person (in my case - the amazing CJ Bergs who was profession, friendly, informative and was available to any question, both difficult and silly) who guides you through the process, and on the audit day itself.
The kick-off was easy, friendly, and clear. I felt like I was accompanied throughout the process, and felt ready before, during and after the audit.

I really have nothing bad to say about Scytale, they really helped me and I'm very satisfied with their services. I would recommend it to anyone who is planning to go through such a process.
