I have to record videos and share it with my subordinates to teach them time to time. This tool comes in handy. This is the best screen recording tool for me. Its free, and provides unlimited recordings in the free plan as well. Its very easy to use and their customer support is helpful when needed. I use is every week based on our requirements. But this tools has a lot of benefits for me. **What do you dislike about screenrec?** There are not much to dislike about this tool except for the fact that the UX is not that good. Also, you can only record screens in 720 quality, so that's a bummer. **What problems is screenrec solving and how is that benefiting you?** The biggest problem we were facing was screen recording for longer time. This tool helps us with that and more. We use this tool to record our screens for 30-40 minutes non-stop and it does that. No need to monthly subscriptions or any kind of payment. We used it very frequently to report the bugs on Trello. **What do you dislike about screenrec?** I haven't found any proper editing features in the screenrec that could have been improved to have more users , and it has a limitation in recording as it only allows for 5 minutes in the free tier, and I have used it in Windows and Mac, but I was facing difficulties in mac. **What problems is screenrec solving and how is that benefiting you?** It is helping me and my team to record the screen while in development face, where testers like me record the issue through screeners and report it on Trello. Many times it helps us to record the meetings in our firm and allows to take screenshots so that we can use those screenshots in our webpages. Screenrec has also helped us to directly record and send the video on emails and the copy-paste feature has been very easy. A mammoth thanks to the creators. The lightweight software and so easy to use UI allows us to learn and use this in gipphy... **What do you dislike about screenrec?** The audio capture is good but I feel the video quality needs some work, I do understand higher quality higher file size but may be a better file compression can try to reduce it. I leave this problem to the developers, to scratch their heads on. **What problems is screenrec solving and how is that benefiting you?** Time!!!!! The thing which I fight out for with everyone. Many times I need to convey things to my counterparts at different timezones, I can just capture my message, I quit typing in, I just capture record my talks and hit it to them, this saves my "time" like anything. The app is really lightweight and takes up no space on my computer. Once downloaded, all I had to do was press Alt+S to start the app, drag and drop to select my screen and start recording. Unlike other apps I’ve tried, I can record audio from my computer and my mic and add a webcam overlay. The ScreenRec workflow is so fluent, I can make videos to explaine small configurations or show the power of some sofware, in a few minuts in silence or with microphone voice record. You can select the microphone, that is usefull in the moment that you have more than one audio in system. When you end your record, in a few seconds you can: Save the rec or share by mail or some others apps. **What do you dislike about screenrec?** Only in a few times the time limitation for the videos is to short, but in 90% of cases is not necesary more than 5 min. I don't like, when, if you haven't microphone and you select the whole screen area for the video, in the first seconds apears a pop up, saying that you don't have any microphone.
