Scop'l Project Estimation Tool Reviews & Product Details

Scop’l (pronounced “scope-ul”) is your project estimation and forecasting platform, built specifically for IT project managers, product owners, and small consulting teams who want realistic timelines and cost projections before things go sideways. In plain English: Scop’l helps you stop guessing and start estimating like a pro. What Scop’l does • Project Estimation Turn scope, velocity, and capacity into defensible timelines (not wishful thinking). • Earned Value Management (EVM) Automatically calculates CPI, SPI, EAC, ETC, VAC so you can see trouble early. • Velocity-based forecasting Uses historical sprint data instead of “gut feel.” • What-if scenarios Instantly model delays, staffing changes, or scope creep and see the impact in weeks and dollars. • PMBOK-aligned math (without the pain) All the formulas you know, without living in spreadsheets. Who it’s for • Independent & contract IT Project Managers • Small PM consultancies • Product Owners who need real dates for stakeholders • Anyone tired of explaining why a “2-week task” took 6 Why it exists Scop’l was built to solve a real problem you’ve lived through: Executives want certainty. Teams have uncertainty. Estimation bridges the gap, or blows up. Scop’l makes that bridge solid.
