Being allowed to track if a job has executed correctly, and even if it has executed at all, have made me more agile and quicker on my decision making and fixing the problems. Before backup radar, other backup services providers always marked as success if the last execution was that way, and didn't take into account the incremental backups you could have during the same day, that can miss. Therefore didn't show that no result, backup radar never misses to notify me when a expected job doesn't execute, marking it as missed even if that same day we had a success, because it updates during the day it isn't only a tool you use at the start of your workflow, but one that helps you throughout all your working day. Another really great aspect is the interface, dashboard specially, it's modular and fully customizable. To be highlighted is it's integration with log sending, is what you could say "plug and play", you add the email in box and instantly it detects the new objects in the mails so you can associate them to plans. I had a problem with a mailbox that was sending the wrong emails, and they were quick to answer and find a solution, so I can't complain about customer service either. **What do you dislike about ScalePad Backup Radar?** If I had to say , the part that doesn't fit with me the most is the way it shows the date a information is from, I would like for them to show or make a way so I can know in a glimpse that the information I'm looking at is from, and I would love for them to add the ability to show the different states during the day, with some type of option to load the information only until 10am, or from 10am to 6pm, it would allow me to segment and divide the working day better, making monitorization even easier. **What problems is ScalePad Backup Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?** Is very helpful for managing multiple tenants and backups methods through only one dashboard. That usually results in no email alert being sent and if you are only moniting failures like many do, it appears to be a success (no email alert). Our technicians were spending around 4-5 hours per week doing this and BackupRadar has freed up this time to be utilised more efficiently for our business, they now do a short review of the audit page each day and BackupRadar will automatically log a ticket with our helpdesk ticketing solution (this was very easy to integrate) if there has been no successful back for 2 days or more. The team we were involved with for the initial onboarding were outstanding, their support was very prompt and helpful. Drew Gersbach was particularly excellent and went above and beyond to ensure the product worked for our needs. **What do you dislike about ScalePad Backup Radar?** To be honest all is great so far and the only thing we could say is we would like to see a better way of storing the backup restore verification results more clearly. After putting together the numbers to provide an estimated effort-to-dollars comparison between that method versus just paying for Backup Radar and sending that to my manager, it wasn't long before we signed up. BackupRadar is honestly one of my favourite monitoring products, and I was absolutely thrilled to see that the MSP I moved into also used it already. It's easy to set up. It has great pre-built integrations. But what's crazy is that Customer Support will actually create an integration if you're using an unsupported backup (even a PowerShell script!). I don't even need to log in every day because I get tickets for failed backups. **What do you dislike about ScalePad Backup Radar?** The only thing to change might be making some of the configurations a bit simpler to understand. There's solid documentation and good support to help, but I could see new users stumble a bit when configuring deeper alerting or processing. **What problems is ScalePad Backup Radar solving and how is that benefiting you?** No manual monitoring!
