As many of the SAP products there is a huge ways you can configure the system to fulfill your requirements. There is also a wide range of functionality that you can pick and choose depending on which elements in your process you want to manage thru PLM. Once you setup all your master data it is amazing how the information start flowing across the different components of PLM and you don't need to "reprocess" any information. Definition of roles and responsibilities is critical for the good performance. I like that it can be integrated with other SAP products. At first I was concerned about the response time that we could have by being on the cloud, but it has been a really good experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is not at the top of the SAP priorities when it comes to changes and updates. Labeling in particular is different for each country and SAP still needs to do a better job to adapt quickly to local requirements. The solution provided by SAP for regulatory review is good, but there is still space to improve it, in today's world a product can be sold in different regions and countries and the requirements are different for each one.
