It uses advanced data compression and a columnar storage format which allows Sap hana to provide cost effective method of handling large data sets. Rather than pulling and storing data on Hard disk it stores data in memory i.e. RAM, which process large queries within few seconds. Using machine learning technology you can automate processes, improve user experience.
